Akira's pov:

I saw red. I didn't even notice that kai was speaking when I pushed her back and landed a punch on her fake nose.

She fell down with blood spilling from her nose. She looked throughly shaken with the blood all over her clothes and some even in her hair.

I was about to leave before I lost control again when a girl strode towards me. She had brown skin with tightly tied black hair.

I had seen her before.. she used to come the fighting ring near my old base. She was a good fighter.

Now she was right in front of me. She says in a cold voice "apologise and I'll let you go"

I suddenly was very acutely aware of the whole cafeteria staring at us. Oh well..I guess she wasn't there on the few nights where I faught in the ring.

"That bitch your girl?" I ask coldly.

"Yeah, and now you'll pay for what you did to her" she says throwing a punch.

I easily dodge that and throw an uppercut. It strikes just how I wanted and she is blinded by pain for a few seconds. I throw a liver punch. But before my first could connect, I feel stinging pain on my bicep.

I take a step back and notice that she has taken out a knife. An utterly evil smile appears on my face as I take out my knife hidden in my rear waistband. She doesn't look shocked. Hah! Good, she will be.

I slash across her bicep. Tit for tat, one could say. With my signature manuevour, I feint. She tries to block. I use the opening to turn my knife and blunt side strike on her stomach.

That move knocks the wind out of her. I grabbed her wrist in a tight grip, twisting it until the knife slips free and falls into my hand. Without a second thought, I moved behind her, and press both blades against her throat. The cold steel bit into her skin, and I could feel her breath hitch. My voice was low and deadly when I say "move, and I'll end it."

A drop of blood slides down her neck. I drive my knee sharply into hers, making her crumble down. She lands on her knees with a thud.

The whole cafeteria is holding its breath. It's too silent.. Shit, did I make a scene?

"Akira Let her go" Kai says carefully.

I put my knife back and grab her by her hair, forcing her to bend her head backwards.

"Don't even dare the next time" I say in a low and venomous voice before driving my knee into her head and making her fall on her face unconscious.

I step over the bodies and move towards the table I was previously sitting at. The whole fucking cafeteria is staring at me. I decide to stare back at every person looking at me until they look away. Leo and Kai slowly make their way over and sit opposite to me. I lean back on my chair and stare at them coming over.

"Akira..that-" Kai starts seriously

"Was crazy!" Leo whisper shouts excitedly with a broad smile and adds "your moves are fucking killer"

"Leo, shut up" Kai says irritatedly and then adds seriously to Akira "Akira you shouldn't draw attention to yourself"

I am still high on adrenaline. I don't wanna say something I'll regret later, so I just nod.

The cafeteria's gone back to normal and the bodies have been dragged out.

"How many knives you got on you? Cause I'm sure as hell that it ain't one" Leo says leaning over the table towards me.

I just stare back at him blankly and answer after counting in my head "five"

Kai stares at me with his mouth open while Leo looks at me fucking stars in his eyes.

"Oh and your arms is bleeding" Kai says casually.

I look at my arm that cut that bitch made is fairly deep.

"Let's head to the nurse's office" Leo says getting up.

I quitely follow them out of the cafeteria. I could still feel the stares. Have the never seen a fight in their lives? I also memorise different hallways routes to different areas of school as I follow them. There are plenty of good spots to surprise attack and with good range.

The nurse was dichevelled when we reached her voice, clearly the two unconscious body has been brought here. The nurse looks at us weirdly when I showed her my cut and asked her to either wrap it or give the gauze to me and I'll do it myself. Taken aback by my harsh voice she quickly wrapped Gauze around the wound, we all left for the office to get my result.

"You will be joining the 12 grade" the woman in the office looks at her computer and says. She hands over my timetable and books. I take that stuff and start to walk and Leo along me while Kai thanks the lady before and joining us.

My first class is physics which is also with Kai, second is History with both of them and the third is English with Leo. Oh god I don't get a break from them. I need to clean my knife too.

I follow Kai as we split up from Leo towards the physics class. Kai enters first with me behind him. An old looking man is teaching when we enter. He stops when we enter and I thought he was going to tell us off for being late. Kai makes up some excuse about why we were late but he just keeps staring at me and my arm.

"First day?" He says to me after telling kai to sit at the back.

"Yes" I say but I am sure my voice sounded detached. That's something that happens when I talk to new people.

"Name?" He asks me looking at his register

"Akira" I answer

He nods and then tells me to go sit at the back too. But by his demeanor, He had clearly gotten the news about our small fight. The lecture fairly simple but very interesting.

"Did he say something wrong to you?" Kai whispers to me

"No" I answer now looking at him

"Then why are you staring at him like you're planning his death" Kai says confused and worried.

Huh?

I just shrug, not letting my confusion show on my face, before going back to listening to the teacher.

Time skip

After the classes, we three make our way out of the school. I spot a suspicious looking black car and also that some kids keep staring at me. The fuck's their problem? It's also very fun that whenever I look at them, they start looking anywhere but at me.

Leo and Kai are standing there looking around. What are they looking for?

"There it is" Leo says pointing to the black car and starting to walk towards it.

Kai and I follow him towards the car. I notice that kai was speeding up ever so slowly as we went closer to the car, subconsciously or consciously? But I find out why when he shouts "I call shotgun" and sprints towards the passenger seat while Leo runs behind him.

I quitely sit in the backseat with an irritated Leo. It's a personal chauffeur driving us. I feel rich. Richness is in the air of this school.

It's going to be around a 20 minute drive and having a dirty knife in my pocket irritates me. There are some wet wipes in the car. I grab one of them and take out my knife. Leo is on his phone and so is kai, so none of them notice me as I clean my slightly bloody knife. I throw the bloody tissue away and put my knife back in its sheath on my rear waistband.

Now, I need to turn my mind to important matters and make a plan. First step is clear, after reaching the mansion, I will walk to the base. And going by the fact that it will be around 3:30 by the time we reach and another thirty minutes of walk to the base.

I will have to spend four to six hours at the base. So by that time, the only quick gig that I could get would be at a bar. I can bartend, clean, and guard so getting a one time gig or a potential job shouldn't be a problem.

I am snapped out of my thoughts as I notice the car making a turn to the mansion and come to a stop inside the gates. All three of us get out and head towards the big dark oak doors. Leo opens the door and enters and we both follow behind him.

I head to my room. After freshening up a little-which means exchanging one of my knives for a gun- I decide that it is high time I left. The walk to the base is kinda long so the earlier I start, the better. "Akira" somebody-probably the boss's mom-speaks up just as I was about to reach the main doors.

I turn around to find-just as I expected-the boss's mom standing there. Goddamn her commanding voice because I reflexively stand in the proper stance with hands behind my back and say formally "yes ma'am"

"Where are you going?" She asks innocently but with piercing eyes.

I answer "To the base ma'am"

"How?" She questions.

"By foot" I answer and she looks slightly confused.

"You don't have to go now. so come with me" she says turning around.

She leads me into the kitchen. Then without turning around, she asks me"did you have lunch today?"

I answer "no". Why does she ask me these random questions? They're so annoying.

"Why?" She asks

"I wasn't hungry" getting slightly uncomfortable by how informal the conversation was getting.

Time skip

The car has finally left the mansion. The boss's mom told me that I would leave with Leo and Kai and that I don't have to walk to the base everyday. I must be the first worker to get treated so... lavishly? I don't know right word for it. It feels so wrong.

We all three exit the car to enter the base. All of us were walking towards the training wing when a man approaches me. He stops infront of us and says "The boss has requested Akira"

The twins looks at one another and continue to walk on as I nod and follow him to the elevator. The elevator dings and stops at a level when two men enter.

Why the fuck would The Don want to see me? Would it about what happened at school? Or maybe I fucked up some other way? Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. Are punishments worse here than what were back at the old base? How severe? Why do I always fuck things up? What's wrong with me?..
