Third person pov:

Akira follows a man with sleeve tattoos to the Don's office. The man knocks and upon hearing a muffled "enter", gestures Akira to go inside.

She enters the room and salutes the Don "sir" He acknowledges her with a nod.

Akira stand there tensely, ready for anything when the Don says "What did you do at school today?" His voice was carefully controlled.

She speaks up and her voice completely formal and devoid of any emotions "sir a girl was speaking shit, so I...punched her"

He looks at her and says as his anger starts to become more prominent "what made you think it was worth getting all the attention on you?" he continues in a low voice full of anger "do you think that I have the time to sort out these petty matters?"

Akira lowers her head and says mechanically"sorry sir"

"That's all you have to say?" He continues "can you make this right? Make it appear as if a 'normal' kid just carries knives with them and is harmless?"

Akira doesn't raise her head and lets it hang low. She was waiting him to announce her punishment. When he doesn't do that, she is thoroughly confused. So she reminds him. Because there's always a chance that he is testing her to see if she would remind him and he would probably make it worse if she didn't (atleast that she knew from experience)

"Sir, I will take my punishment " she says looking at him with empty eyes "I won't repeat this mistake again"

Punishment? Carlos does that. Sebastian is reminded of how different the ways of both the mafia's are. He would usually just increase workload for a while but he couldn't do that to such a young girl. She also has school and not enough time for training anyways. He decides to let her go.

"Just be more discreet the next time" he says dismissing her.

She looks shocked but quickly masks it and leaves. Just as she is about to leave, the Don speaks up "beat them out of school next time"

And she leaves.

Time skip

After the training, Akira is heads out of the building. She had noticed that there were a few bars and pubs on this side of the city. She decides that she will probably ask for a bartending gig or for some cleaning up work. She needs dinner after this exhausting day.

After walking for about 10 minutes, it had gotten dark and street lights were turned on but she till has 10 more minutes of walk left. Suddenly a black car slows down beside her, it has black tints which makes her walk faster. She didn't really wish to die today. That was until the window was lowered and Eiran peered out at her.

"What are you doing here Akira?" He asks looking confused.

"heading to the bar downtown" she answers bluntly

"The bar?" He smirked "aren't you 16?"

Everybody knows that even kids can drink it the want in the Mafia. It's rare to find someone who doesn't.

"To find a job" she says seriously

"Why- why would you want a job when you already have on?" Eiran asks bewildered.

"I need to figure out a way to make some money" she replies, it was common sense..why couldn't he understand?

"Wait- hold up- so are you implying that you do not get money from your job as trainer?" To say he was shook was an understatement

"No. I need to go-" she says starting to walk when she is abruptly stopped by Eiran.

"But it's time for dinner, you'll miss it then" he says as if suddenly remembering that.

"I need money to get dinner" Akira replied getting agitated now.

"Get in the car" he says command lacing his voice.

Akira ignores him and keeps walking but he too keeps driving alongside her.

"Akira get in the car or I'll tell Sebastian" Eiran feels bad for blackmailing her but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

She turns her head with a glint of fury in her eyes. Eiran is taken aback by sudden anger but is used to it after Leo. She opens the door and sits on the passenger seat. Eiran drives back to their mansion in utter silence.

"You don't need to work for dinner Akira" Eiran finally speaks up "if we house you, then we can feed you as well"

She doesn't say anything so Eiran continues.

"And everybody in the Mafia gets payed so there's no way that you don't " he says but Akira still keeps her silence.

After reaching the mansion, both of them get out of the car and walk to the main door. Eiran holds the door for her as she enters.

"I'm home!" He calls out.

"Come have dinner!" Diana calls out to them from the dining room

Eiran moves towards the dining room and Akira quitely follows him.

"Eiran have you seen Akira? She hasn't come home from the base, even Leo and kai didn't see her" Diana speaks up as soon as she notices Eiran enter.

Akira enters behind him just as Diana finishes speaking.

"Are you talking about her?" Eiran says smirking while gesturing to Akira behind him.

"Where have you been at this hour?" She says worriedly as both of them take their seats.

"I was going for a drive when I notices her walking on the side of the road" he explains as he takes a bite of his food and adds "she was going to look for a job..to be able to afford dinner"

Akira just eats her food not paying him the slightest of attention. Diana looks at Akira with sad eyes but decides to stay quiet. Sebastian is sitting at the head of the table quitely listening to the whole ordeal.

Time skip

Eiran is sitting on the chair opposite to Sebastian in his office.

"Brother you are paying Akira right?" He asks.

"Yes" Sebastian answers not taking his eyes off of his computer.

"Then why did she talk as if she's not getting paid?" Eiran asks part worried and part confused.

Sebastian finally takes his eyes off of the computer "She didn't get paid by Carlos. He claimed that because he didn't kill her when she first arrived to them, he deserves her loyalty. Apparently she owes him her life. Of course there is also the underlying fact that she can't leave because they'll kill her if she does." He says matter-of-factly.

"that's fucked up" Eiran nods along "anyways..."

Eiran turns the conversation towards important matters of business He gets up to leave after a while. He stretches, puffing up his chest and extending his arms above him, groaning lazily and then adds to Sebastian before gathering some of his documents "it's getting late, you should go to sleep too"

Sebastian speaks up, ignoring what he said "I need Akira's history"

Sorry for the short chapter:( I had 3 back to back exams.

I still have to prepare for more tests BUT don't worry, I am almost done with the next chapter.

The next chapter will be uploaded in a day or two and let me give a hint...It is THE chapter.
