A bunch of fools!
Still trying to get their hands on the Immaculate Cream?
Have they got their brains stuck in their backsides? Is that even possible?
I told you – you'll regret this!
After setting up the call reception mode,
Pang Jun muttered to himself, cursing.
As for the CEOs who once threw him out like a madman,
Honestly, he felt no hatred.
Even Ding Chengjun, who ruthlessly kicked him out after using him, bore no grudge from him.
Well, maybe he had read too many novels.
A person destined to change the times wouldn't bother holding petty grudges against the ignorant masses.
But while there was no hatred, all those old acquaintances – including Ding Chengjun – had their numbers blacklisted by Pang Jun.
In this life, he had no intention of ever crossing paths with those short-sighted people again.
After tidying up the documents on his desk, Pang Jun grabbed them and walked out of his office, heading straight to General Manager Chen Yinuo's office.
Knock knock.
"Come in!" Chen Yinuo responded.
Pang Jun pushed the door open.
"Old Pang, what brings you here?"
Seeing Pang Jun, Chen Yinuo smiled with mild surprise.
"President Chen, you asked me to look for OEM factories, right? I've found a few potential acquisitions and compiled their information. Take a look, see which one fits best, and proceed with the acquisition. But I won't be involved in the acquisition process – that's not my area of expertise," Pang Jun said bluntly, handing over the documents.
He knew his role clearly.
Even though Ye Chen had made him Vice President of Yiren Ru Xue, Pang Jun saw the title as purely honorary.
After all, if he were to get involved in management decisions, he'd be completely clueless.
His only domain was the lab.
The lab was his true home.
Unfortunately, back in the days of Yun Dai, Ding Chengjun had misjudged him, not only rejecting the development of the Immaculate Cream but also fearing that Pang Jun's success would overshadow him. So, he kicked Pang Jun out.
Looking back now, Pang Jun thought Ding Chengjun had made the right call.
If Ding hadn't driven him away, how would he have met Ye Chen?
Without Ye Chen, there would have been no breakthroughs – and certainly no Immaculate Cream. It would have taken at least two or three years to even come close.
"Oh? Found targets already?" Chen Yinuo looked pleasantly surprised.
"I have my ways – wasn't hard to find," Pang Jun replied.
"Alright, I'll take a look and discuss it with Ye later," Chen Yinuo said, accepting the documents.
Pang Jun didn't say anything further but stood there with a complicated expression.
Chen Yinuo, about to review the documents, looked up in confusion.
"What's going on?"
"Old Pang... something else?" she asked, puzzled.
"Well, President Chen... could you mention to Ye..." Pang Jun hesitated, looking slightly embarrassed.
"Hm? Mention what?" Chen Yinuo frowned.
"Could you ask him to stop giving me all this extra work?" Pang Jun said with a straight face.
"What?"
"Stop giving me all this work!"
Chen Yinuo froze.
What did he mean by that?
Seeing her stunned expression, Pang Jun continued, "President Chen, I may have my ways, but I just want to stay in the lab and do R&D. Things like sourcing raw material suppliers, supervising production, or scouting OEM factories – can't someone else handle that? Why me? It's like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut!"
Hearing this, Chen Yinuo couldn't help but laugh.
Ye Chen had mentioned Pang Jun before – brilliant but with low emotional intelligence and stubborn to a fault.
At first, she hadn't fully believed it.
Now, she did.
Anyone with even a bit of emotional intelligence wouldn't have said something like that!
"Old Pang, you're right. Anyone could handle this stuff. But you're missing the key point," Chen Yinuo smiled.
"What point?" Pang Jun asked.
"Trust! Ye is giving you these tasks because he trusts you completely. Whether it's raw material sourcing, production oversight, or acquiring OEM factories – these are crucial for Yiren Ru Xue. Ye doesn't trust anyone else!"
"Wait... why does that make me feel fired up?" Pang Jun murmured, surprised at how motivated he suddenly felt.
Compared to his experience at Yun Dai, where Ding Chengjun constantly distrusted him, he felt unexpectedly touched.
Trust really did warm the heart.
Chen Yinuo's words brought clarity – indeed, the tasks he handled now were critical to Yiren Ru Xue's future.
"Don't worry, Old Pang. Once this busy period passes and everything stabilizes, you can return to the lab. Just remember – you are essential to Yiren Ru Xue. The company could survive without me, but not without you," Chen Yinuo reassured him.
"Alright, President Chen. Say no more – I take back what I said!" Pang Jun quickly responded.
Chen Yinuo chuckled softly.
Ye Chen had told her that as long as Pang Jun was treated with respect, he would reciprocate tenfold.
Now, she saw it firsthand.
"Still feel like you're using a sledgehammer for a nut?" she teased.
"I feel like you guys sold me out... and I even helped count the money."
Pang Jun said seriously and left the office without further ado.
His casual demeanor might seem unprofessional, but it made Chen Yinuo smile knowingly.
Having someone like Pang Jun on board... Yiren Ru Xue had struck gold.
With that, she returned her focus to the documents he had left.
After reviewing them thoroughly, she picked up her phone and called Ye Chen.
"Ye, where are you right now?"
"At home, working on the production site design for Yiren Ru Xue. The land hasn't been approved yet, but having the layout ready will save time," Ye Chen replied from his study.
"You're doing it yourself?"
"It's not hard – I can handle it," Ye laughed.
"But you called – is something up at the company?"
"Yes, Pang Jun found several OEM factories for acquisition. I think you should make the final decision. Can you come by the office?"
"I'm on my way."
Ye Chen ended the call, grabbed his keys, and left.
At the same time, a Range Rover pulled up outside Yiren Ru Xue.
Inside the car, Ding Chengjun sat silently.
"Boss Ding, should we wait for Pang Jun here?" the secretary asked.
"Yes," Ding Chengjun replied gravely.
"How long will that take?"
"As long as it takes," he said firmly.
