Ashley leaned in, her lips brushing softly against Mia's in a series of tender kisses. Mia chuckled, a happy sigh escaping her as her thumbs traced delicate circles on Ashley's cheeks.

"Gosh," Mia murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've never felt so lucky in my entire life, but you... you make me feel like the luckiest person alive right now." A soft smile spread across her face as her thumb brushed over Ashley's lips, her eyes brimming with affection.

Ashley smiled warmly, her gaze never leaving Mia's. "And I'll make sure you feel that way every single day, sugarplum. No doubt about it," she said, closing the distance between them to steal another kiss.

Mia responded with equal intensity, wrapping her arms around Ashley's neck and pulling her closer. "I love you," she murmured softly, her eyes locking with Ashley's.

Ashley reached behind herself, tugging off her sweatshirt and tossing it aside without a second thought. Her lips sought Mia's again, this time biting gently at her lower lip before trailing to her earlobe. "I love you more, sugarplum," she whispered, her teeth grazing Mia's earlobe, eliciting a soft laugh from her.

Mia giggled, pushing Ashley back gently and straddling her. Ashley swallowed hard, her eyes darkening as Mia slowly unzipped her hoodie, letting it slide off her shoulders before tossing it aside. Ashley's hands instinctively moved to Mia's waist, her fingers tracing over her abdomen with reverence, as though Mia were the most fragile and precious thing in the world.

"Damn," Ashley breathed, her voice filled with awe as Mia unclasped her bra. Mia took Ashley's hands and placed them on her bare chest, guiding her to explore. Ashley fumbled gently, her touch both nervous and eager.

Leaning down, Mia kissed Ashley deeply, her hands moving to the clasp of Ashley's bra. With practiced ease, she unfastened it, freeing Ashley's breasts. Her lips traveled from Ashley's mouth to her neck, then lower, leaving a trail of soft, teasing kisses.

A shiver ran through Ashley as Mia's tongue flicked over her nipple, drawing a sharp breath from her. Ashley bit her knuckles, desperate to stifle her moans. The last thing she wanted was to wake their companions just outside the tent.

Ashley's breath hitched as Mia's lips moved to her other breast, her hands roaming over her body with a mix of tenderness and urgency. "Mia," Ashley gasped softly, tugging on Mia's hair as she bit down on her knuckle to keep quiet.

Mia smirked against her skin, her tongue teasing one last time before her lips began to trail lower. She kissed her way down Ashley's abdomen, causing Ashley to tense slightly.

"What are you doing?" Ashley whispered, her voice shaky, her hands instinctively reaching for Mia's wrists. Her eyes darted nervously around the tent, as though expecting someone to burst in.

Mia grinned mischievously. "Giving you what you deserve," she replied, gently prying Ashley's hands away before continuing her descent. She hooked her fingers into Ashley's sweatpants and slid them down along with her underwear.

Ashley inhaled sharply, her body tensing. "You do realize we could be heard, right?" she asked, her voice a mixture of caution and anticipation.

"All the more reason for you to keep it down, Detective," Mia teased, her voice sultry as she spread Ashley's legs apart.

Ashley barely had time to protest before Mia's tongue found her sensitive spot, drawing a muffled gasp from her. Reflexively, Ashley slapped a hand over her mouth, her free hand clutching at Mia's hoodie in an attempt to stifle the noises threatening to escape.

Mia worked with precision, her tongue teasing and her fingers exploring with practiced ease. Ashley's back arched as her body responded, her breath coming in short gasps. She tugged at Mia's hair, pulling her closer, her body trembling with each thrust of Mia's tongue and fingers.

"Fuck," Ashley hissed under her breath, her voice muffled by the fabric of Mia's hoodie. Her free hand clawed at the blanket beneath them as she surrendered to the rhythm Mia had set, the soft, wet sounds filling the small space of their tent.

Ashley's breathing grew ragged, her body moving in sync with Mia's ministrations. She felt herself nearing the edge, her composure slipping away. "M-Mia," she stammered, her voice barely audible as her climax built.

Sensing her release approaching, Mia adjusted her tempo, her tongue and fingers working in harmony to push Ashley over the edge. Ashley arched her back, her entire body tensing as she let out a muffled cry into Mia's hoodie. Waves of pleasure coursed through her, leaving her trembling and breathless.

Mia didn't stop until she had coaxed every last bit of pleasure from Ashley. Then, finally, she sat up, licking her lips with a satisfied grin. Ashley could only stare, her face flushed and her chest rising and falling rapidly.

"You're sweet, Detective," Mia teased, her voice soft yet teasing.

Ashley groaned, throwing an arm over her eyes to hide her flustered expression. "You're really going to be the death of me, sugarplum," she muttered, her voice tinged with both exasperation and adoration.

Propping herself up on one elbow, Ashley smiled softly as she gazed at Mia's peaceful, sleeping face. Leaning in, she pressed a gentle kiss to Mia's forehead and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. Her eyes flicked to the small ring she was holding, and a faint grin spread across her lips.

"Will this fit you?" she murmured to herself, rolling the delicate band between her fingers. With careful precision, she slid it onto Mia's left ring finger. Her breath hitched as it settled perfectly in place. "Look at that—it's just right," she said, beaming triumphantly.

Her voice dropped to a tender whisper as she gazed at Mia. "Marry me, okay? Gosh, I love you."

Mia stirred, pulling the blanket up over her shoulder, her face scrunching slightly. "Ash?" she mumbled, her voice groggy and eyes still closed.

Ashley chuckled. "Yes, sugarplum?"

"Are you heading out?" Mia asked, frowning faintly as her hand brushed across the bed, searching for Ashley.

"Yeah," Ashley replied softly, hearing the faint murmur of voices outside the tent—likely the Pierce siblings. "I need to help out."

Mia hummed in acknowledgment, her frown deepening as her fingers idly fidgeted. Suddenly, she froze. Her eyes snapped open, and her gaze shot to her left hand.

"What the—" She bolted upright, yanking Ashley back before she could leave. "What is this?!" she exclaimed, staring wide-eyed at the ring on her finger.

Ashley turned, feigning innocence. "Your hand... and a ring," she said with a teasing tilt of her head.

Mia's breath caught in her throat as she examined the ring. It looks like an engagement ring, she thought, glancing from the band to Ashley, her expression a mixture of shock and awe.

Ashley's laughter bubbled up, her grin wide and warm. "What are you thinking, sugarplum? It's exactly what it looks like," she said smugly.

Mia gaped at her, pressing a hand to her mouth. "It is? Is this really... an engagement ring?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

Ashley nodded, her expression softening. "Marry me, okay? By hook or by crook, you're stuck with me forever," she declared playfully, shaking her head.

Mia let out a choked laugh, her cheeks flushed as she cupped her face. "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!" she squealed. "I love you so much!" With that, she launched herself into Ashley's arms, knocking her back slightly.

Ashley's laugh was muffled by Mia's embrace, but her joy was unmistakable. "I love you too, sugarplum," she whispered, her hand cradling the back of Mia's head as they shared a tender kiss.

The moment was abruptly interrupted by a voice from outside.

"Mia, are you already awa—" Sienna's voice trailed off as she peeked into the tent, her eyes widening at the sight before her.

Ashley and Mia froze, mid-kiss, turning slowly to face her, their expressions a mix of shock and embarrassment.

Sienna quickly slapped her hands over her eyes. "Oh gosh, I can't see anything! Carry on—I didn't see a thing!" she stammered, backing out of the tent awkwardly.

Mia stared after her, mortified, and then realization dawned. "Sienna Reed!" she yelled, scrambling to get out of the tent and slipping on her sandals.

Sienna, already halfway across the campsite, hollered back, "I didn't see anything, I swear!" Laughing, she darted toward Riley, attempting to use her as a shield.

"Oh, my freaking God, Sienna!" Mia groaned, pointing a finger at her best friend. "Get back here!"

Sienna spun Riley around, keeping her between them like a human barrier. "I told you, I didn't see anything! Not you kissing Ashley—nothing!" she shouted, grinning mischievously.

At that, a collective gasp came from the surrounding group: Riley, Harriet, Nyx, Vera, and Zoey all turned to look at Mia and Sienna in unison.

"What?!" they exclaimed together, their faces a mix of surprise and curiosity.

Mia groaned, burying her face in her hands. "Ugh, what the hell," she muttered under her breath.

Zoey tilted her head, narrowing her eyes as they landed on Mia's hand. "Wait a second," she said, pointing. "Is that... an engagement ring?"

Vera's jaw dropped as the realization hit her. Covering her mouth, she shot a knowing glance at Ashley, who had just emerged from the tent, her hair tied into a neat ponytail.

Vera raised an eyebrow. "Hold on—you got engaged inside the tent?!"

Ashley shrugged nonchalantly, tucking her hands into her pockets. "What's wrong with that?" she asked, utterly unfazed.

The group collectively gasped again, while Sienna smirked at Mia. "So that's what the kiss was about!" she teased, covering her mouth as she laughed.

"Sienna Reed!" Mia groaned, her cheeks burning red. "You are unbelievable!"

Riley let out a snort, while Harriet and Nyx exchanged amused glances. Ashley, meanwhile, simply smiled at Mia, her gaze brimming with affection.
