Mia was back on set, preparing for a kissing scene with the leading man. Just as their lips were about to meet, a sudden noise broke the moment.

"Cut!" the director called out. "What's that noise?" he asked, scanning the set, but no one seemed to react.

"Okay, let's start again!" the director continued. "Action!"

The leading man cupped Mia's face, smoothly delivering his lines. Just as he was about to kiss her, another noise interrupted. "Cut!" the director yelled once more. Mia cleared her throat, recognizing the sound.

"Let's take a break for a while!" the director said. "You guys check all the corners for that noise!" he added.

Mia moved away from the leading man and chuckled, rubbing her temple. "Don't tell me they're here?" she whispers to herself.

Meanwhile, Ashley was on the other side of the set, laughing softly with the triplets as they gave her a series of high-fives. "Good job, kiddos," she said, still chuckling.

"I knew that was your job," Mia's voice caught Ashley's attention.

"Mommy!" the triplets shouted in unison, running up to Mia and hugging her legs.

Ashley laughed as Mia stood with her hands on her hips, sighing dramatically. "Gosh, you're making me do another shot just for a scene," Mia said, rubbing her temple, though she couldn't help but smile.

"Why do you have to take those kissing roles?" Ashley groaned playfully.

Mia laughed. "What? It's not even a real kiss," she said, crouching down to hug their kids. "Hello there, lovelies," she said warmly.

"Think you can take a half day, wife?" Ashley asked with a grin. "Let's have a family day out," she suggested with a shrug.

Mia rolled her eyes, shaking her head as she stood up. "Fine," she said. "I'll let Maya know—"

"Oh!" Maya suddenly appeared, pointing at the triplets. "Wow, the little ones are here!" she said, waving playfully to the kids.

"Right timing, Maya," Ashley said, smirking.

Maya looked at Ashley. "And what do you mean by that?" she laughed.

"Well, I'm stealing Mia for a half day," Ashley said, rubbing her nape. "Can we do it?" she asked.

Maya laughed. "Well, actually, the director said he's canceling today's taping because of the noise... wait—oh, I see, it's you little guys!" she said, turning her attention to the triplets.

Mia chuckled. "Well, the mastermind is the big baby right there," she teased, pointing at Ashley.

Maya laughed, pinching the faces of the triplets gently. "Well, I'll pack your stuff up, Mia. You can go and enjoy your time with the triplets—and big baby here," she said, laughing.

"Thanks, Maya!" Ashley said with a wink. "Owe you one!" she added.

Maya waved dismissively, laughing.

Ashley chuckled as she picked up Raelle and Raean, while Mia picked up Raegan. "So, where are we going?" Mia asked.

"You'll see," Ashley said, winking at her.

As they arrived at their destination, Mia blinked, looking at Ashley. "Why are we here?" she asked, glancing out the car windows. It was the same spot where Ashley had proposed to her.

"Let's have a picnic here," Ashley said with a smile. "I brought food for us and the kids," she added. "You've been on your taping all month, so I figured I'd treat you to something special," she said, smiling at her wife.

Mia smiled as Ashley got out of the car and turned to her side, opening the door. Mia cupped Ashley's face gently. "Gosh, I really love you, babe," she said, giving Ashley a quick kiss on the lips.

"And I love you even more, wife," Ashley responded, helping Mia out of the car. She opened the back door, letting their kids down.

"Go ahead with the kids to that spot," Ashley said, pointing to a quiet area of the camping site. "I'll bring the food there."

As they settled on the camping mat Ashley had brought, the two of them laughed heartily as their triplets playfully hugged them.

"My heart is so full," Mia mumbled, leaning into her wife's chest as Ashley wrapped her arms around her. Their kids were sitting on their laps. "I couldn't ask for more, because having you beside me fills all the empty spaces," she said softly.

Ashley smiled, pressing a kiss to Mia's head. "I'm so glad the pickpocket bumped into you," she laughed. "I was able to give you my calling card."

Mia chuckled. "I'm so glad I crossed paths with you and called you honeybunch back then," she said, laughing as she remembered their first encounters.

"I love you, Mrs. Mia Tran-Amosa," Ashley said, lifting Mia's chin. "I'm the luckiest to have you as my other half and the mother of our kids."

"I love you, always, Ash," Mia said, leaning in to kiss Ashley. Just as they were about to deepen the kiss, the triplets giggled and tried to pull them apart.

Ashley and Mia laughed. "Okay, kids, you're ruining Mama's fun," Ashley pouted, pulling the three little ones into a hug and tickling them.

Mia laughed, shaking her head. Good thing I chose you to be my pretend significant other back then, she thought to herself, smiling at her wife. I ended up tied down to you for real, and you've treated me right all along—just like what you've told me. I love you, Ashley Amosa. You were my unlawful desire back then, despite the age gap. But I'm happy—so happy—to be your wife, and to be yours.

Ashley blinked, her gaze lifting from the laptop to find her wife standing in the doorway of their study. Her breath caught as her eyes darted to Mia, but she quickly cleared her throat, forcing herself to focus on the presentation on the screen. She heard the soft click of the door locking behind her wife, and her fingers froze momentarily before resuming their scroll, pretending to concentrate.

Mia tilted her head, a knowing smirk tugging at her lips as she noticed Ashley's tense shoulders. "What are you working on?" she asked, her voice sweet but laced with mischief.

Ashley didn't dare look up, keeping her eyes fixed on the screen. "Just reviewing a presentation, sugarplum," she replied, her voice betraying a slight crack.

Mia leaned against the desk, arms crossed. "I just got home, babe," she murmured, her tone light but teasing. "Aren't you going to greet me properly? Maybe with a kiss?" Before Ashley could respond, Mia reached over and gently closed the laptop with a soft thud.

Ashley swallowed hard, finally meeting her wife's gaze. She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. "Mia," she began, her voice low and strained, "how am I supposed to focus when you're wearing... that?"

Mia chuckled, glancing down at her fitted dress before sauntering around the desk to perch herself on the edge. Her legs crossed, and her arms folded as she tilted her head at Ashley. "What, this old thing?" she teased. Despite having given birth to triplets, Mia's figure remained as enviable as ever—a fact she was well aware of.

Ashley groaned, running a hand down her face. "You're gorgeous, Mia. Stunning. And you're my wife. But you're also incredibly distracting," she muttered, averting her gaze.

Mia laughed, stepping closer and tilting Ashley's chin upward with a single finger. "Distracting, huh? Does that mean you don't find me attractive anymore?" she asked, her voice playful but her eyes searching.

Ashley's mouth fell open. "What?!" she exclaimed, laughing incredulously. "Mia, I want to rail you in that dress. You're insanely hot, and you're all mine." Her cheeks flushed as the words tumbled out.

Mia's laughter bubbled out as she clicked her tongue. "So, where's my kiss, then?" she challenged.

Ashley didn't hesitate this time. She stood, cupping Mia's face and capturing her lips in a heated kiss. Mia chuckled between the kisses, her hands deftly unbuttoning Ashley's shirt and tossing it aside. Ashley's hands slid to Mia's thighs, lifting her onto the desk with ease.

Panting slightly, Mia pulled back, her hands resting on Ashley's shoulders. "I only asked for a kiss, babe," she teased, her legs wrapping around Ashley's waist to pull her closer. "You're taking full advantage of the kids being at their grandparents."

Ashley groaned in mock frustration, leaning in until their foreheads touched. "You're teasing me, wife," she murmured. "But I love you for it."

Mia grinned, cupping Ashley's cheeks. "I know," she said softly. "That's why you married me."

Ashley chuckled, leaning into her wife's touch. "And I'm the luckiest person alive that you did. Honestly, I still can't believe I won your heart after you divorced your ex."

Mia's expression softened as she smiled. "I love you, Ashley. So much."

Ashley sighed contentedly, brushing a strand of hair from Mia's face. "I'm just glad I took a chance and told you how I felt. Even when you were waving that imaginary straight flag of yours," she teased with a laugh.

Mia rolled her eyes playfully. "You sound like Nyx. Maybe I shouldn't let you hang out with her so much. Who knows what trouble you two might get into."

Ashley laughed heartily. "Mia, I'm usually surrounded by the Pierce siblings and their kids, with our kids along. Trust me, we do not have time for trouble—besides, my eyes have always been on you. Since the moment I met you, you've been my gravity."

Mia melted at the words, pulling Ashley into a tight hug. She buried her face in Ashley's chest, inhaling her scent. "I love everything about you, Ash. Your smart mouth, your heart, and every bit of you."

Ashley kissed the top of Mia's head, her voice a gentle murmur. "And I love you more."

Mia pulled back with a sly smile. "Just don't stress me out, okay? It's not good for the baby," she added with a grin.

Ashley froze, her eyes wide as she straightened. "W-what?" she stammered. "What baby?"

Mia burst out laughing, pointing at herself. "Me. I'm the baby."

Ashley let out a breath, her laughter joining Mia's. "For a second there, I thought I'd managed to get you pregnant with just my fingers and tongue!"

Mia laughed so hard she had to clutch her stomach. "You're impossible," she said between giggles.

Ashley grinned, pulling Mia close. "Impossible or not, I'll always treasure you, sugarplum. You, our kids, and every crazy moment with you. You're the best gamble I ever took."

Mia kissed Ashley gently. "And I'm so glad you did, Ash. You're my forever."
