The two friends were closer than ever, until when Giyuu hit the age of 16, he was now the Oirans assistant, and part of a counselor group. Almost every week he would go to these meetings they held three times a week. If it were busy, he would have to fill in a small group for entertainment for the people of the district. The only time he could ever have fun was with Warabehime. She stuck with him by his side, even when she discovered he was a man.
When they arrive at the owners house, they would head to their dorm room, and talk with each other, and even make puns. They laugh, and do each others make-up whenever they had to. Giyuu was mostly asked to do the girls makeup since he is artistic in a way. One thing the two have in common is that they both hate one man who is such a regular at their work office. They try to get away from him, but one way another he always finds them both.
They would either talk trash about the guy, or even try and pull a trick on him. But in the end, they are very close, most likely as family. Giyuu doesn't find hate in Warabehime, but enjoys his time with the woman. The same goes for Warabehime, but she can't reveal her true self. Unfortunately Warabehime was summoned to the office, but unfortunately Giyuu couldn't come this time.
So they both departed, and said goodbye to each other for they would see each other the next week. Giyuu was now running the house, and getting gifts from Warabehime, but then it stopped. Worried as he was, he sent a letter to see what had happened to her. It took about more than weeks, until a messenger arrived at the house. One of the girls brought the letter to him, and read the letter very promptly.
To his surprise, he was devastated to hear such news. He couldn't believe what he was reading.
Letter - Dear Yuu Tomioka, we're sadly to say that Warabehime was killed, by what they call 'demons' in the West part of this country. Horrible as it was, she left you the spot for the next person in line to run this country. She has such high hopes for you, and your career. Her remains were burn in one of the fires these demons caused, and so she left you her one truly treasure.....a hairpin, and her robe. Belonging to her, amd will be passed on to you. Her death will not go in vain, for you are to take responsibility. .... We're sorry for your lost..
Giyuu- ....Warabehime-san.....nee-san....why...don't leave me here... I still need you....Nee-san...
That was the time he actually cried that he didn't want to even eat, or bother coming out of his room. The time he spent with her, the time where he felt happiness. Now is gone, but he still had one thing left of her, a hairpin, and her robe for street fashion. He never felt such grief, and pain for someone who means alot to him. Some of the maidens were beginning to worry for the man.
It had been about weeks, and then he came right out of his room. Some of the girls questioned why he was trapped in his room for so long. He didn't bother answering them, for he had a country to run. As it became months later, he had to attend for a coronation in the early spring. He wore his high shoes, and did his hair up in a fancy hair bun.
He wore his freshly flower patterned dress, and wore his only true friends robe. It matched perfectly with his outfit one of his assistants chose. He even wore Warabehime hairpins he received many months ago before her passing. He was traveled to the South side of the country where the governor was how making him ruler of parts of the country. As he made it to his destination, he had help with his samurai guards, and his treasurer bringing his belongings.
He walked down, as everyone bowed in respect for the man making his way down to the main lobby. He got to meet some more famous artists, and musicians. There was even the counselors in the lobby, they were glad to make Giyuu ruler of some parts of the country. Giyuu wasn't so pleased, for he needed more experience to run a country. He played it off, and showed off his bright smile, and feminine looks.
He was brought to a huge room where there were groups of people, and a whole meal prepared afterwards. He was told to wait in a certain room that was connected to the coronation room. There he was dolled up, and was sat down until he heard the bells meaning it was time for him to walk in. He walked with the help of his samurai guard, and was brought infront of him desk, where he had to sign papers, and be crowded. There he was told to stand, and place his one hand on a Bible, and the other hand to be raised.
Governor- I want you to repeat this with honesty, and faithfully. Giyuu- Yes. Governor- For I Yuu Tomioka. Giyuu- For I Yuu Tomioka. Governor- To become one of the greatest Giyuu- To become one of the greatest Governor- And powerful ruler in the hands of God Giyuu- And power ruler in the hands of God Governor- For I shall take this responsibility. Giyuu- For I shall take this responsibility Governor- And make this country more greater Giyuu- And make this country more greater. Governor- And to run this country with my faithful troops Giyuu- And to run this country with my faithful troops Governor- For I am now ruler of the Entertainment district of Japan. Giyuu- For I am now ruler of the Entertainment district of Japan. Governor- Congratulations you are now Empress of the Entertainment, western, and eastern district. Giyuu- Thank you sir.
All with applause, they all celebrated, as one of the servants crowned him and was sat in one of the past rulers chair. Meaning he sat in his dead friends chair. Distressed washed over him, but he played it cool. He saw one of the Entertainment people, and was served with food. The people from the outside were celebrating too as fireworks were going off.
The coronation lasted until night had fallen. Luckily Giyuu rented a hotel room sooner than later. He spent the night there, and was traveling back to the Entertainment district. As he arrived back home he saw many of the people with gifts, and flowers. As he made his way out of the carriage, many of the people shouted in praise that he took this chance to run this country more theoretically.
Another party was celebrated over at Yuu's new home the government gave to him. It was a lovely palace that had enough space for him. It contained a lobby room, ballroom, hallways leading to dorm rooms for the servants, or guests. It was becoming crowded with lots of people from different parts of the country. The people were let into the ballroom where the party was located at.
They all were delivering gifts, and served foods for Giyuu as he made his presence in the ballroom. He sat down on his chair, and gave them all such a pleasing look of elegance. Some of the woman were shouting, squeeling, and then all the people were now allowed to dance, talk, and even entertain they're new empress. Just looking at this, Giyuu wished Warabehime was still alive to see how far he had come. He could be spilling out tea at the moment, but weep in sorrow, as he covered his face with his fan.
