Author- It has been quite a couple of months since the people celebrated Giyuu's birthday, and now they only send letters, or gifts to him still. All he can do on his behalf is sit in his throne room, and have patience when a messenger arrives with news for the counties. Some of the guards try not to make eye contact with the royal, since he does have some look which makes them all scared and such. Some even said he handled a robber who tried to steal from a poor family. They had the robber chained outside, as he ate, and invited the family in to feed them, and the children.

The people would even call that a royal move.

Guard pov: Another day, yet a gloomy week just standing here. When will I even get my paycheck!? All I'm doing is standing here, and protecting this woman. All she does is just sit around all day, and commands her servant such as I, to do our tasks. I want to at least do something and get rewarded as she does.

Guard 2- *Whisper* Pssst!! Hey you! Guard- !? Guard 2- Yeah you! Stand up straight! A royal will be coming soon, and they will say something about you when they get here. Slouching in line wouldn't make mistress a good impression of her county, so stand high, and don't complain!

Guard pov: *sigh* Great.....another royal coming, and what. More parties, conversation, and what. For nothing.....instead of sitting there on that throne looking stupid, why can't the woman walk.

Yuu- I can feel you staring at me soldier... Guard- Excuse me?.... Yuu- I feel you staring at me, even though I ordered you to stand in a line facing a different way. Why are you being disobedient? Guard- No....reason... Yuu- Then turn, and stand like you were told to do. Guard- Yes mistress.

About 20 minutes gone by, and the servants, and maidens were all cleared out in groups. Some of the counselors were there to take in a report of a new assistant of the Empress. If the Empress accepted the person, then they would be in second of command. Making the assistant sit at the throne with Giyuu. Then the doors began to open, as guards were coming in, and another Emperor came in with a girl, and boy at his hands.

Emperor- Good evening though it is afternoon, how are you mistress. Yuu- I'm doing fine, now...what brings you here by any chance? Emperor- I come from the East side of this country, and I heard of how you needed an assistant. Yuu- Yes....what of it? Emperor- Well I brought in one of my towns best kids that can get the work done for you. They are both quite talented, and prepare the finest foods, and are good at calculations in they're tinny tiny brains- Yuu- ....Bring them to me... Emperor- Hey now, you didn't let me finish- Yuu- Bring them both...to me.

The Emperor sighed, and signaled the children to meet the woman who sits on the throne. Nervous they were, the man pushed them forward as they made they're way to the Empress. They both stood at Giyuu's feet, as he examined them both. Looking at what they were wearing, and how they kept looking around in the palace. He seemed to be angered since they looked poor, as the Emperor didn't care, and picked up kids off of the streets.

Emperor- Sooo...what do you think?... Yuu- .... Emperor- I know, you are impressed by them aren't you? Yuu-..... No... Emperor- I was impressed that they even solved problems in their heads. So I thought of bringing them to you and....uhh..what.. Yuu- Noo.... Emperor- But madame...they are the best I found- Yuu- Found you say? So my thought was right. You dragged them off the street and decided to give me children who don't have any idea why they're here. Emperor- Why noo mistress...They wanted to come here, and show you what they can do. Yuu- Really?!....But to me it seems like you forced them here, more likely threatening them both, since that is what you 'publicly' do in that town of yours. Emperor- But please mistress....give the kids a chance- Yuu- Noo.....I wanted a person who can have a smart mind, and can write down tasks, and meetings for me, and now that I think about it, I don't even think this meeting was supposed to be written down, since your wasting every bit of my time for these poor children. Emperor- But Yuu!! Give me a chance would ya!? Yuu- Noo....take him away.

As the man screamed his lungs out in desperation, Giyuu stood up as he walked out of his throne, and towards the two children. They just stood there, and the girl clung to her brother. As Giyuu approached the two, he snapped his fingers and ordered one of the servants to grab some clothes for the children, and set up a bath for them. He then told them to follow him in another hallway leading to other rooms for guest, that includes the children.
