We had already shoot most of the men of other party.. Our guards are mostly dead after someone from inside shoot them.. We knew dad and Dante is coming over to neutralize the situation.. Too bad cause we are gonna kill everyone that have the intention to harm our princess.

Antonio and Xander took lead from left side where else Me and Ezeikel took lead from right side.. Suddenly their shootings stopped and I looked over Antonio and Xander who had the same expression as us.. Suddenly I heard a ting and our eyes widened..

Mirabella!

It was a notification sound when the door of basement gets opened from outside.. Antonio and I made a run for that but they started firing again.. Xander and Ezeikel were enough so we didn't bother to stay back..

As we reached near the basement, we saw the door already opened.. I barged in and my stomach dropped seeing Mirabella not there.. Dad instructed us to keep Mirabella safe and seeing her gone meant that they were not here for us.. But for Mirabella!

"She's not here.. "

I whispered but Antonio said nothing.. I turned to him to see him looking at something.. I went to him and looked at the direction he was looking..

"We didn't kill them.. Did we? “

I looked at the dead bodies in front of us..

" No.. We didn't... "

Mirabella

I rocked back and forth in the corner as the gunshots kept increasing.. I looked around eying the guns.. I knew each of them.. I could tell the models just by looking at them.. How? Blame the teenage girl obsessed over mafia fanfiction and then searching up for guns.. But those happens in fanfictions only, right? At least I believed them now!

I held my head and pulled at my hair.. My migraine is coming back and it's hurting badly.. These loud noises are giving me flashbacks of Damon.. He had these friends.. Very bad friends who would carry around Guns..

I was in my room.. I heard gun shots.... They became loud and louder.. I hid in a corner.. It was Christmas Eve.. Everyone in the neighborhood went to the fare a few blocks from here.. I stayed hidden and heard a bang on the door.. Shit I forgot to lock it!

The door opened and I saw a lady entered and pointed at me... I saw two big man entering after them.. They neared me and grabbed me by my arms before dragging me with them..

I felt hands on me and opened my eyes.. I saw a lady at the door and two man dragging me out of the basement..

"N-No.. Who are you guys?! "

They didn't say anything but dragged me out of the basement.. They started to drag me through the laun towards the backside of the house.. No.. I can't let this happen to me..

I pulled back at their hold and stomped on my feet so they can't drag me away more.. My brothers are around towards the front.. If I can get out of their hold and run towards the front then they will save me..



I managed to pull my hands away from one of them but the other one slapped me across my face..

"Stay in your limits bitch! "

One of them screamed at me and I kicked him in the groin that made him loose his hold on me.. I took the chance to take away the gun in his waist and Bang!

Blood splashed on my face as I shot him down.. Thanks Zepphire!

"What the hell did you do!!! “ The other man screamed but I shot him too.. I looked around for the woman but she fled..

" Catch her! "

I heard voice in distance and saw quite a few approaching.. I can't fight them all but shot until the bullets are done.. They took shelter and I took the chance to climb up the wall and then on the tree, hiding from them.. I hissed in pain.. My whole body is aching.. I almost slipped after putting pressure on my dislocated shoulder.. I crouched down in pain as my chest stinged pain.. I believe I fractured One or two of my ribs.. My hurting knee wasn't helping as well..

Dante

As me and Dad entered, We saw dead bodies of both our guards and other parties guards.. The gunshots stopped meaning they already killed everyone.. As we entered the living room, It was a bloody mess and I saw Xander and Ezeikel holding two guards hostage..

"Where is Mirabella? "

Xander looked at us..

"Antonio and Vincent went but didn't return yet.. "

What the Fuck?!?

Dad is already sprinting towards the basement and I went behind him..

"WHERE THE FUCK IS MIRABELLA?!? “

I heard him scream and Vincent and Antonio stood there looking confused..

I looked around to spot her but she is nowhere.. But I saw leaf moving a bit.. I looked at the tree that's with the wall but saw nothing... Dad is already cursing them while I walked closer to the tree.. The tree is dense with leaves so it's hard to see if someone is hiding up there.. I put my hands around my gun incase there is someone hiding to attack us..

Suddenly I got a glimpse of naked feets...

" Princess...? "

Dad stormed towards me..

"What? "

He asked and I looked up.. He looked up as well..

"Mirabella? Are you up there my baby? "

He asked softly though he was out of breath from the shouting earlier..

"Dad.....? "

I felt relief as I heard her voice.. She called out softly to dad..

"Yes princess.. It's me baby.. Come down.. "

Mirabella

I held the trunk of the tree for my dear life.. The rush of Adrenaline made me climb up the tree but getting down? I'm never better at that.. "Mirabella? Are you up there my baby? " I heard dad's voice and I looked down to see dad and Dante standing.. They couldn't see me clearly due to the leaves.. "Dad.....? " I called out to confirm that it's him..

"Yes princess.. It's me baby.. Come down.. "

I bit my lips in embarrassment..

"I don't know how to get down.. I'm barely hanging.. "

I bet I'm really red now but I felt the tree shake a bit..

"Dante is coming up baby.. Hang there for a bit.. "

Soon I saw Dante and my eyes teared up seeing him..

"Come bambina.. Come to me.. "

I felt my hands and feets getting locked due to fear.. He came closer and removed my hands and I put them around his neck.. He pulled me up and I wrapped my legs around his torso.. He caressed my head and kissed my forehead before slowly getting down while still holding me closer to him..

He finally got down but I still held him tightly..

"Pricipessa? "

I looked at dad and finally burst into tears and went to his arms and he held me closer.. It was a traumatizing event and they need alot to explain..

Alexander

I breathed out in relief to have my baby back in my arms.. I lashed at them for loosing her and not protecting her.. I felt my blood pressure rise with just the thought of her being taken away.. She was already away from me for 17 years..

I held her closer while she sobbed loudly.. I'm so sorry for my baby to witness this all..

"Get the car ready.. We'll move to our secret house for now.. "

Dante nodded and I carried her while she cried out to me.. I hide her face in my chest so she doesn't see the blood splattered around everywhere.. I quickly got in the car and tried to made her sit but she refused to let go so I sat with her on my lap.. She pulled out and touched her face which was stained in blood..

She started to frantically pointing to her clothes and the hands that were stained in blood.. She breathed heavily.. Fuck!! She's having panic attack..

"Shh shh baby.. It's ok it's ok.. “

I tried to soothe her but it didn't help..

" Xander!!! “

I screamed for Xander and he came running towards us.. He took one look at her before running back in the house..

She is already out of breath and gasped for air.. Xander came back running..

"Dad hold her tight.. "

He said and I held her tight and he injected her sedatives.. She tried to resist but then went limp on me while still sobbing a bit..

I cradled her and she went unconscious on me while clutching my shirt..

I'm so sorry my baby..
