Everyone came safely and Alice back to the base. The cadets were in a overwhelming tone all day especially the first term cadets. Abhi was scared to the core after that. Abhi stuck on to ram for the next two hours. Jaiveer decided to conduct a meeting to discuss today's happenings. And as ram was supposed to go today which was postponed to the next day he wanted to tell it to ram as well.

Ram was in his room changing his shirt which was very dirty. Then a final term cadet knocked on his door passing the message of the meeting. Ram looked at abhi still not letting him go. Ram understood that he was scared but he needed time to recover first. Ram got on his knees to abhi's level.

Ram:"son, I know you are scared but I have to goo there so can you be with Nick and others for a while I will be back in no time. Ok"

Abhi nodded slightly without letting him go.

Ram:"take him to Nick, first term sl"

Cadet:"yes, sir "

Abhi went with the cadet and ram buttoned up his shirt and tucked it in and appeared in the conference room where he found jai, mathi, Abdul , anu and a few other trainers along with a few senior members. Ram entered With permission and sat in his seat next to Abdul and mathi who were already in their seats.

A few minutes and everyone came and jai began.

Jai:"officers, I would like to introduce you to our new trailer oofficer man. Abdul Sohail. Joining us from today as a temporary substitute for making. Ram shree. "

Abdul got up and others clapped and the meeting progressed slowly of discussing and planning security in and around the training campus . Two hours drifted off like a breeze.

Jai dismissed everyone except ram, mathi and abdul. He asked for a detailed report on what transpired in the caves. Mathi was put incharge of the recovery of the cadets. Abdul and ram volunteered to introgate the accused.

Jai dismissed Abdul and mathi and discussed with ram of his depature which was tomorrow.

It was night by the time the meeting was over . Everyone were exhausted by the time. Ram went back to get his son the remaining part of his duty. He had planned to tell the cadets who he was the mentor about his depature today but the unexpected moments all led to him deciding to introduce Abdul and his depature the next day training.

He went to the mess to get abhi as it was dinner time already. He saw Nick in the ground with abhi peacefully sleeping in his shoulders. Nick was just walking back and forth slowly and patting him to let him sleep he himself was as weary as abhi. Ram noticed this and went towards him.

Ram askes Nick if he is asleep. He nodded his head. Ram carefully got Abhi from Nick. Abhi was sound asleep.

Ram:"did he eat something "

Nick:"not really sir. He ate some snacks and slept"

Ram:"thank you. Go eat your dinner it's almost time for lights out. "He said with a sight of tiredness lingering.

Nick:" My pleasure sir. "

Ram took abhi to his room. Nick stood there with a small smile.

In their room

Ram layed abhi in his bed and sat there thinking something. Abdul appeared and opened the door without any warning.

Abdul:"coming to eat"

Ram:" I'll eat later "

Abdul:"ya, right did abhi eat atleast"

Ram:"no he slept in Nick's arms"

Abdul:"seems like you already found a babysitter. Fine the juice bottles I bought is still with me"

Ram:"and.. "

Abdul:"here you go have it. Incase if you get hungry tonight"throwing two bottles of juice to ram. Which he caught easily.

Ram:"so, you came all the way here to just make fun of me"he asked poking the straw into one of the bottles.

Abhi suddenly woke up from his slumber.

Ram:"woke up already, want some juice🧃 " Handing him the juice.

Abhi unconsciously took it from his hand and sipped the juice lowering his head.

Abdul:"like father like son"with a teasing edge.

Ram :"get lost. "

Abdul:"coming for dinner now atleast for your son"

Ram:"yes I am coming, abhi let's go to eat" Abhi was still sleepy went with his dad without a word.
