❗️Mention - blood, physical harm ❗️

Our breath mingling with each other as the water dropped down on us, sliding down my hand to her waist and another beneath her knees, I picked her up in my arms, taking her out of the shower. She stayed still in my arms. I moved towards the wardrobe; she was just looking at me with teary eyes, her hand circling around my neck as she rested her head on my chest.

I took out a kurti from the wardrobe; she just observed my movements slowly. "You can change; I will be waiting outside, and one more thing: tomorrow we are going back to India; no need to pack the clothes," I said, my voice steady. "There will already be so many for you." I whispered the last words before exiting the room.

She came out wearing the kurti, her hair still wet. I took the towel and handed it to her. "Itne ache kyu ban ke dikha rahe ho?" My jaw clenched at her words. "Mujhe mar kyu nahi rahe kiya hua?" she said, her voice barely audible. "Itni kisi se kiya nafrat maine to tumhara kuch nahi bigada."

(Why are you being so nice?)

(Why are you not hitting me now?)

(Why do you hate me so much? What did I even do wrong to you?)

"Your father killed my parents; this reason is not enough for you." I slammed my hand against the door, making it shut closed. She flinched at the sound. "He killed them in front of me just because of you. I did not have the power to stand against your father, but now if I want, I can kill him.

But you were the sole reason for my parents death, and now you're thinking I'm hurting you every moment with you. I hate it. I hate that shit that I was with you. I hate you to the core of my heart. If you want your father to be alive, then," I stopped for a second, "conquer or die." I whispered those last words and left the room. As I walked away, I could feel the weight of my words hanging in the air. The decision was made, and there was no turning back now.

Zyran woke up with a jerk, his forehead sweating profusely. He couldn't shake the feeling of dread that lingered from his dream. The memory of his parents' death haunted him, and he knew he had to confront his emotions head-on before they consumed him entirely.

He moved towards the bathroom, taking off his clothes; he stepped into the shower, turning the tap, letting the cold water run through his body, giving him chills down his spine. As the icy water cascaded over him, Zyran closed his eyes and took a deep breath, determined to face his fears head-on and find closure. The sensation of the cold water was jarring, but he welcomed it as a reminder of his strength and resilience.

"Sir, everything is set up; we will leave at your command." Kaiz's voice echoed through the mansion walls. Zyran nodded his head. "Ms. Hart, call Noor," he said to Ms. Hart as she nodded her head and started to move upstairs but stopped in her tracks when she saw Noor descending the stairs adorned in a silk black suit. Zyran's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her.

His phone buzzed as he picked up the call. "What happened, Victor?" Zyran's gaze darkened. "Sir," Victor told everything to him. His gaze darkened on Noor as he looked with a deadly stare, making a shiver run down her spine. "Okay." With a last word, he hung up on the call.

The road was dusty. Noor looked out of the car window for just a few minutes. Ago, they landed in India, and now they are going somewhere. Noor didn't know about the car coming to an abrupt stop. She looked in front and saw a big, so big, door. It opened with a creaking sound, and the car started to move again. Noor's heart raced as she realized they were arriving at a mysterious destination. Shouldn't shake the feeling of unease as the car continued down the dusty road towards the unknown.

(A/N- ab hoga maut ka nanga nach)

She saw a factory, people working there, kids playing while running, but they stopped and joined their hands while looking towards the car. The guards, who were standing with guns, saluted towards their car. Noor knew the man sitting beside her was not a simple man; his aura was calm yet dangerous and demanding. She couldn't help but wonder what kind of place they were heading towards and what kind of person this man really was. The tension in the air was palpable, and Noor's curiosity only grew stronger as they approached their destination.

When the car stopped, the guards opened the door for Noor and him. The guards joined their hands while bowing down, "Namaste, madam," he bowed. Noor just nodded her head, "Salam sahab." The other man bowed down while greeting Zyran, "What is happening? Sector 3 is so empty. Why is no mining going on there?" Zyran's voice was still "Sir, sector 3 mai koi jane ke liye tayyar nahi hai Kal ke hadse ki wajah se." Zyran nodded at his words.

(Sir, after yesterday's incident, no one is ready to mine in sector 3.)

"Shanti ko bulao," Zyran's voice echoed as the guards ran to call the maid. "Jii bhaiya," Shanti looked at Noor. "Leke jaiye inhe andar," Zyran said, looking at Noor. "Aaiye didi," she whispered to Noor as she moved with her. Noor took a last glance at Zyran before entering the mansion, which was pure white. Shanti's eyes filled with curiosity as she led Noor inside the mansion, the pure white walls giving an eerie feeling. Zyran's gaze followed them until they disappeared from sight.

(Call shanti)

(take her inside)

(Come, sister.)

Shanti stopped in front of a room. "Ye apka kamra hai didi, kuch zarurat ho to mujhe batana," she whispered to Noor, making her nod. Noʻr entered the room and felt a sense of unease as she looked around at the stark white walls and minimalistic decor. Shanti lingered at the doorway, her eyes filled with concern, before quietly leaving Noor alone in the room.

(it's your room if you want something do tell me)

Noor's heart raced as she tried to shake off the feeling of being watched, her mind racing with questions about the mansion's history. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves before exploring the room further.

Noor opened the wardrobe and saw it filled with her belongings and new Indian clothes that she had never seen before. The sight of the vibrant colors and intricate designs brought a sense of familiarity and comfort to her, easing her unease.

The door burst open, and she saw Zyran standing there with an angry look. Noor opened her mouth to say something, but Zyran grabbed her neck and pinned her to the wall so hard, Zyran's grip tightening around her neck, "You told your father that we are coming to death, Verena," Zyran's voice deep.

Noor struggled to get out of his grip. "W-what?" She was not able to say anything, her eyes turning red as she struggled to breathe, her breath barely audible. She thought she was about to die. As Noor's vision started to blur, she desperately tried to convey that she hadn't betrayed him. Panic and fear consumed her as she realized the gravity of the situation.

She hit his shoulder; Zyran released her with a jerk. Noor coughed hard, gasping for air as she tried to regain her composure. As Noor struggled to get up and looked at Zyran as her tears flowed down, she wanted to burst on him to yell at him, but she swallowed everything inside her.

"I am asking you something. How did your father know we were coming, Death Verena?" he asked. "I have no idea how my father knew, and I certainly didn't know what Death Verena was until now," Noor managed to say through her tears, trying to keep her voice steady despite the fear and confusion swirling inside her. She could feel Zyran's intense gaze on her, waiting for an answer that she wasn't sure she could give.

Noor struggled to stand up; she fell on the floor. Zyran bent down to her level. "If you even tried to go against me, the consequences you would face, you can't even imagine," he whispered and left the room.

Noor cried hard, feeling a sense of dread and helplessness wash over her. She knew she was in a dangerous situation, with Zyran's warning echoing in her mind as she tried to gather her thoughts and come up with a plan.

"I will run away from here," she whispered to herself. "Shanti," she called out. She came inside. "Tum mujhe ye mansion nhi dikhaogi," Noor whispered to Shanti while wiping her tears. "Lekin apki tabyat theek nahi lag rahi hai," Shanti said, being worried, looking at her condition.

(Will you not show me the mansion?)

(but I think you are not well)

Noor knew she had to act fast, despite Shanti's concern for her well-being. She needed to escape the mansion before it was too late.

"Or iss mansion ke piche kiya hai," Noor asked. "Didi piche ek jungle hai or uske Barabar main ek road hai. Jo zyada tar sumsaan rehta hai. Shanti said Noor looked through the window. "Now let's see how you will catch me. I will run far away from you," she whispered to herself. As she planned her escape route, Noor felt a surge of determination to break free from the confines of the mansion. She knew she had to be quick and decisive in order to outsmart Shanti and make her way to safety.

(What's behind the mansion?)

(It's a jungle, and beside it there is a road that is always empty.)

"Didi, aap ki to abhi abhi bhaiya se shaadi hui hai, or aap itni saadi lag rhi hai. Aye, main apko tayyar krti hu," Shanti said as she made her way towards her room as they entered the room. She took out a red lehenga from the wardrobe. "Aap isse pehniye." Noor didn't want to break her heart; she slowly moved towards the bathroom.

"Didi, aap to bilkul kisi khwaab ki tarah lag rahi hain," Shanti whispered, looking at Noor "khwaab bhi toot te hai" she whispered to herself, She was looking ethereal in the red lehenga. Shanti smiled with satisfaction as she saw Noor looking stunning in the red lehenga. "Ab aap poori tarah se tayyar hain," she said, feeling proud of her styling skills.

(You're just looking like a dream)

(dream also break)

Shanti made Noor sit in front of the mirror. She started to do her makeup. "Tumhe ye sab kaise aata hai?" Noor asked. "Bhaiya ne kaha tha seekhne ko, taki mai apko tayyar kar saku," Shanti said with a smile. A deep crimson covered her cheek. Her makeup was done at last; Shanti painted her lips red. "Ab aap bhaiya ka intezaar kare," she said and left the room with a smile.

(how do you know about this all)

(brother told me to learn this so I can ready you like this)

(you wait for brother)

Noor looked at herself; the bold makeup made her look mature, but she wasn't; she was innocent and pure. Shanti's expertise in makeup left Noor feeling both grateful and slightly overwhelmed by the transformation.

The moon cast a glow on her face as she sat on the swing on the balcony; Noor could see the dense jungle behind the mansion and the empty road beside it. The sound of leaves rustling in the wind added to her sense of urgency to escape.

But the fear of being watched lingered in the back of her mind, making her heart race even faster.Noor waited for the darkness to envelop the moon.

Soon the clock showed 3 am, and Noor made her way out of the mansion from the back door; there was no guard. Noor sighed as she ran towards the dark road, her heart pounding with adrenaline. She knew she had to make it to safety before anyone realized she was gone.

She was running on the road absentmindedly, not knowing where to go. The lehenga was heavy, too heavy that she was not able to run properly.

"I have to go far from here, or else he will make my life a living hell." She mumbled to herself, The road, which was empty and dark, now came in contact with the car headlights, lighting the edge of the road. She raised her hand to stop the car.

The car stopped in front of her, and four men came out of the car. "Lift chahiye madam ji." The man said in a drunken voice, "Do you want a lift, madam? She shook her head in no, no, no, or regretted the decision of stopping the car.

"Arre, arre, kaha jari hai?" The other man said, gripping her wrist as she struggled under his grip, her chest tightened with fear.

(Oh, where are you trying to go?)

She pulled her wrist so harshly that her bangles broke, scratching her wrist. "Oo pakad usse wo bhagri hai," the same man said while running behind her.

(Catch her; she is running away.)

She quickened her steps and entered the dark forest. It seemed to look more dangerous from her sight as she ran through the large trees, which were looking in the darkness more dangerous, like a tall man standing, but all she was thinking of was running away from there. Her heart pounded in her chest as she pushed herself to keep moving forward, ignoring the pain in her wrist. The sound of footsteps behind her only fueled her determination to escape into the unknown depths of the forest.

The sharp leaves bruising her arms, the blood drips from her forearms, the heel making her leg hurt so much that she threw them away somewhere in the darkness and began to run. As she ran deeper into the forest, the moonlight filtering through the trees provided little guidance, but she pressed on, driven by fear and adrenaline. The distant howls of wolves echoed through the night, spurring her to run even faster, desperate to find safety.

Her hair was a mess. The makeup on her face ruined her lipstick; smudged, the tears were dry, but her lashes were wet. The darkness turned darker that she could barely see in front, but she was still feeling that someone was following her. Each step she was taking felt heavier. Her heart pounded in her chest, the sound of her own breath deafening in her ears. She knew she had to keep moving, to keep running, if she wanted to escape whatever was lurking in the shadows behind her. The branches clawed at her skin as she pushed through, the fear of the unknown propelling her forward.

Because she pushed the weight that someone was walking behind her, but she refused to look back, a sharp pain erupted in her feet as she fell down. "Ahh," she screamed and hissed, but gathering up herself, she stood up. Ignoring the pain, she forced herself to keep going, her determination overpowering the throbbing ache in her feet. The only thought in her mind was to reach safety before it was too late.

But her legs felt numb as a tall figure hung in front of her on a tree; the blood dripping from his neck was fresh. She froze in terror, her heart pounding in her chest as she realized the danger that lurked nearby.

The blood dripped over her palm as she screamed and looked around. There were dead bodies hanging on the tree around her. She couldn't breathe. Those were the same men who were trying to kidnap her. She knew she had to run, but her body refused to move. Panic set in as she heard footsteps approaching from behind. She closed her eyes, praying for a miracle to escape this nightmare.

Her eyes widened when she saw their hands were absent from their bodies; she was not able to move. "He came," she mumbled under her breath. The realization that she was not alone in this gruesome scene sent chills down her spine. She knew she had to find a way out before it was too late.

"Takaya krasivaya" A soft whisper brushed his lips over her ear: "Tsk tsk, I didn't want to kill them, but I have to because they tried to hurt you." He paused, his lips hovering on her neck to collarbone. "I have the only right to hurt you because you're Moya, Vse Moya." He kissed her collarbone lightly. A shiver ran down her spine. She clutched her lehenga tightly, and her knuckles turned white.

"How do you know I was here?" she whispered, gathering her courage. "We are predators, sweetheart; we like to hunt," he said. "Right, sweetheart." He raised his hand as he pulled down the syringe in her neck, injecting the sedative that would render her unconscious. "Sweet dreams, my dear Moya," he whispered. She hissed in pain and turned around, his green eyes shining in the moonlight before gently taking her in his arms. He whispered,

"You belong to me, Red."
