Over a week had passed since Nyx received her acceptance email from Trinity. During this time, she had done little more than wait, her thoughts consumed by the prospect of joining the academy and, more importantly, by Seia.

One morning, as she checked her inbox, her heart skipped a beat. The email from Trinity was there, confirming her admission. A surge of happiness washed over her, but it was quickly overshadowed by thoughts of Seia.

Determined to make a good impression, Nyx customized her uniform, opting for magenta and black to reflect her personal style. She felt a sense of pride as she donned the attire, ready to embark on this new chapter.

Upon arriving at Trinity, Nyx was introduced to Mika Misono, Nagisa Kirifuji, and Seia Yurizono—the esteemed members of the Tea Party, who were regarded as the leaders of the academy. Her excitement to see Seia was palpable, but Mika's presence seemed to create an invisible barrier between them. Nyx attempted to engage Seia, but Mika interjected, her tone laced with authority.

"Seia, we have matters to attend to," Mika said, her eyes narrowing slightly as she glanced at Nyx.

Nyx, undeterred, turned to Mika. "What class will I be attending?" she inquired, eager to begin her studies. Mika's lips curled into a subtle smirk, clearly relishing the opportunity to assert her dominance.

"You'll be joining the Makeup Work Club," she replied, her voice dripping with condescension.

Nyx was taken aback.

"Why?" she asked, her confusion evident. Mika's gaze hardened. "You're not fit for most classes," she stated bluntly. "It's just the first day. We can't place someone we don't know into our ranks."

Nyx sighed, recognizing the futility of arguing. "Fine," she muttered, her voice tinged with resignation. Mika leaned in closer, her voice dropping to a whisper. "Stay away from Seia," she warned, her eyes narrowing. "You wouldn't want to get too close to my friend."

Nyx was taken aback by the veiled threat.

"Is she insane?" Nyx thought to herself, her mind racing.

As Mika walked away with Seia and Nagisa, Nyx couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Mika's warning than met the eye.

Later, in the privacy of a bathroom, Nyx examined her halo in the mirror. It appeared normal to her, its core unblemished.

"What is a False Sanctum?" she wondered aloud, her confusion deepening. Determined to find answers, Nyx left the bathroom and proceeded to her assigned class. Meanwhile, Nagisa turned to Mika, concern etched on her face.

"Are you okay?" she asked, her voice laced with worry. Mika forced a smile, masking her true feelings.

"I'm fine," she replied curtly, through her eyes betrayed a flicker of doubt. Nyx arrived at the Makeup Work Club, where she was introduced to her classmates, Hanako, Koharu, Hifumi, and Azusa.

As the group settled in, Hanako wasted no time in making her presence known. "So, you're the new girl," she said, her tone suggestive. "I bet you're just dying to fit in." Nyx remained unfazed, her expression neutral.

"I'm Nyx," she replied simply. "A new student at Trinity. And someone you'll definitely remember."

Hanako chuckled, clearly amused by Nyx's lack of reaction. "Not even a blush?" she teased, trying to provoke a response. Nyx remained stoic, her gaze unwavering.

Koharu, noticing the tension, interjected with her usual ranting. "Hanako, stop trying to corrupt the new girl," she scolded, though her tone lacked real conviction.

Hifumi, observing the exchange, sighed. "I'm the only normal person here," she muttered under her breath, though loud enough for Nyx to hear.

Nyx remained silent, her mind racing. She had no idea how to explain who she was; she felt like a side character in her own life. But she was here for Seia, and she would find a way to navigate this new environment. As the class continued, Nyx couldn't shake the feeling that her journey at Trinity was not going to go well...
