*Location - Kivotos | Timeline: Nyx*

Nyx wandered through the bustling corridors of the Kivotos Mall, flanked by Hoshino Takanashi and the rest of the Abydos students. Shops displayed vibrant arrays of merchandise, and the air buzzed with chatter and the occasional jingle of store announcements.

Hoshino nudged Nyx gently. "You've been staring at that same storefront for ten minutes. Find anything you like?"

Nyx shook her head, her expression distant. "Nothing's catching my eye today."

Hoshino raised an eyebrow. "Still worried about Seia?"

Nyx sighed, her shoulders slumping. "It's been days, Hoshino. No one's heard from her. I can't help but think the worst."

Hoshino placed a reassuring hand on Nyx's shoulder. "I get it. But you can't let it consume you. Seia wouldn't want that."

Before Nyx could respond, a commotion erupted nearby. Shiroko had a mischievous glint in her eye as she eyed a particularly expensive-looking handbag.

"Shiroko," Hoshino called out sternly. "Put it back. We're not here to cause trouble."

Shiroko pouted but complied, placing the bag back on the shelf.

After a few more hours of browsing and managing Shiroko's kleptomaniac tendencies, the group decided to call it a day. Nyx returned to her cozy apartment, the familiar surroundings offering little comfort. She powered on her computer, the screen casting a soft glow in the dimly lit room.

A notification from Momotalk popped up. Her heart skipped a beat, hoping it was Sensei with news about Seia. But the sender's name made her breath catch in her throat: Seia.

Fingers trembling, Nyx opened the message.

"Nyx, I'm fine. I need to meet you. Alone. There's something important I must share."

Relief washed over Nyx, but it was quickly replaced by apprehension. She typed back swiftly, agreeing to meet at their usual spot in the park.

Dusk settled over Kivotos as Nyx sat on a familiar bench in the now-deserted park. The rustling of leaves and distant hum of the city were the only sounds accompanying her anxious thoughts.

Footsteps approached, and Nyx stood, her eyes widening as Seia emerged from the shadows. But this wasn't the Seia she remembered.

Seia's attire had transformed into a black dress with dark yellow accents. In one hand, she held a fully modified TAC-50 sniper rifle; in the other, a double-edged black scythe. Her once-champagne hair now flowed with streaks of black, and her left eye gleamed a haunting magenta. Chains coiled around her form, and the right half of her halo shimmered with hues of black and magenta.

"Seia," Nyx whispered, voice trembling. "What have you done?"

Seia offered a serene smile. "I had to, Nyx. To protect everyone."

"But... Sensei purified you. Why revert to Salvation?"

Seia's gaze was steady. "Because this power is necessary. I've seen visions, Nyx. Prophecies of Kivotos's end. I can't stand by and do nothing."

Nyx's eyes filled with tears. "This isn't you, Seia. We can find another way."

Seia shook her head. "This is the only way. And I need you to understand that."

Desperation clawed at Nyx's heart. "Who's feeding you these lies? Black Suit?"

Seia's expression darkened slightly. "He's shown me truths, Nyx. Truths about you, too."

"What are you talking about?"

Seia gestured to Nyx's halo. "Your halo... the symbol 'Ø' represents null, void, nothingness. And your name, Nyx, is the name of the first goddess in existence of Greek mythology. Goddess of the night. One of the first gods to exist."

Nyx took a step back, confusion etched on her face. "How do you know all this?"

"Black Suit has access to knowledge beyond our comprehension," Seia replied. "He helped me understand the significance of our powers."

Nyx clenched her fists. "He's manipulating you, Seia. This isn't the way."

Seia's eyes softened. "I wish you could see what I see, Nyx. But for now, I have to go."

Before Nyx could respond, Seia vanished, leaving only a faint trace of magenta light in her wake.

Nyx stood alone in the park, the weight of their encounter pressing heavily on her heart.

Nyx stood in the park, her mind racing. Seia's transformation was alarming, and the unspoken plea in her eyes urged Nyx to keep this encounter secret. But why had Black Suit divulged such critical information? Before she could ponder further, the sky above turned a deep crimson.

"What now?" Nyx muttered, as Genesis materialized beside her.

"She's here," Genesis announced.

"Chroma?" Nyx asked, recalling the name.

"Yes, the entity destined to bring ruin to Kivotos."

Their conversation was interrupted by a notification from Sensei on Momotalk, summoning them to the student council meeting building.

"Duty calls," Genesis said, fading back into Nyx's mystic essence.

At the meeting, Rin addressed the assembly. "We've detected high energy readings across Kivotos."

"False Sanctums," Nyx interjected. "They need to be destroyed."

Rin raised an eyebrow. "And how do you know this?"

"I've... encountered them before," Nyx replied, avoiding the full truth.

"Very well," Rin conceded. "Your mission is to locate Shiroko, who has gone missing."

Nyx joined Hoshino Takanashi and the rest of the Abydos students.

"What took you so long?" Nonomi asked.

"Just some complications," Nyx replied.

Ayane adjusted her gear. "Let's focus. We're expecting resistance."

As they advanced, Chroma-infused entities emerged, their presence warping the environment.

"Stay sharp!" Hoshino ordered.

Weapons were drawn, and Nyx felt a familiar surge of power. Her scythe gleamed ominously as her darker instincts surfaced.

"Let's end this," she whispered, charging into battle alongside her comrades.

Nyx's scythe cleaved through the oncoming entities with precision, while gunfire from the Abydos students echoed around her. Despite their success, an unsettling feeling gnawed at her.

"This is too easy," Nyx muttered, scanning the battlefield.

Hoshino glanced over, puzzled. "What do you mean?"

Before Nyx could respond, the ground trembled. From the horizon, a massive, chromafied worm emerged, its form towering and menacing.

"Binah," Nyx identified, recognizing the Decagrammaton.

Ayane readied her weapon. "Just like before, right?"

As they prepared for battle, Hina and the members of Problem Solver 68 arrived.

"Need a hand?" Hina offered, her weapon already drawn.

Nyx raised an eyebrow. "How did you get here so fast?"

Aru smirked. "We have our ways."

Meanwhile, at the student council building, Rin coordinated efforts to launch an assault on the floating Ark. Sensei emphasized the urgency of Abydos completing their mission to join the main offensive.

Back on the battlefield, after a fierce confrontation, Binah collapsed, dissipating into fragments. Nyx received a call from Sensei, urging them to regroup.

As they made their way to the rendezvous point, more chromafied entities began to appear.

"We'll handle this," Hina assured. "Go."

With a nod, Nyx and the Abydos team hurried to the Ark. As the launch sequence initiated, Nyx's thoughts drifted to Anubis. Who were they? And why did they seek Kivotos's destruction?

Unbeknownst to her, Anubis, also known as Shiroko Terror, was a manifestation from another timeline, bearing the title of the Goddess of Death. Her mission: to lead Kivotos to its demise.

As the Ark ascended, Nyx steeled herself for the challenges ahead, determined to uncover the truth and protect her world.

As the Abydos students, Sensei, and Nyx boarded the Ark hovering ominously in the crimson sky, a palpable tension filled the air. Sensei took the lead, guiding them through the labyrinthine corridors of the vessel, each step echoing with the distant sounds of battle.

Determined to find her friend, Nyx broke away from the group, her heart pounding as she navigated the dimly lit passages alone. Her thoughts raced, fixated on Shiroko's unexplained disappearance.

Turning a corner, Nyx's breath caught in her throat. Before her stood a figure bearing an uncanny resemblance to Shiroko, yet something was profoundly different. The aura, the stance—it all felt foreign.

"Shiroko?" Nyx called out, her voice tinged with hope and confusion.

The figure remained silent, eyes cold and unrecognizing.

Shiroko Terror's mind raced, contemplating the possibility that Nyx might be the embodiment of "Annihilation," as foretold by the nameless priest.

Without warning, Shiroko Terror lunged, her assault rifle blazing. Nyx narrowly evaded the onslaught, her instincts kicking in as she activated her Annihilation form, a surge of dark energy enveloping her.

The clash was intense, a whirlwind of bullets and energy, but as quickly as it began, Shiroko Terror retreated, vanishing through a portal pulsating with Chroma energy.

Breathing heavily, Nyx stood alone, the weight of the encounter pressing down on her.

"That had to be Shiroko... I know it," she whispered, determination hardening her resolve.

Meanwhile, Shiroko Terror's thoughts churned. "Could she be the 'Annihilation' the priest spoke of?"

The encounter left both grappling with questions of identity, destiny, and the roles they were meant to play in the unfolding chaos.
