"THE ABSOLUTE END OF ALL EXISTENCE, ERADICATION SHALL FINALLY AWAKEN!"

"SHIVA! JANUS! EREBUS, AWAKEN THIS GIRL WITH TRUE STRENGTH TRUTH ANNIHILATION, SO WE SHALL DESTROY KIVOTOS AND BEYOND!"

An explosion erupted mid-air, intercepting the oncoming black spears. The force of it sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, clearing the dust and flames for a brief moment.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Sensei!"

Aru stood at the forefront, her rifle resting on her shoulder. Behind her, the members of Problem Solver 68 had arrived, their presence shifting the tides of battle.

"You guys…" Sensei exhaled in relief.

"We saw the commotion and thought, 'Hey, why not get involved in some fun?'" Aru smirked.

Haruka's voice was hesitant, her eyes locked on Nyx. "What is… that?"

Mutsuki, ever the chaotic one, let out a delighted cackle. "Ohhh, this is perfect! A real fight to prove ourselves to Sensei!"

But Nyx barely acknowledged the newcomers. Her eyes, still burning with magenta fury, flickered slightly—only for her rage to intensify once more.

With terrifying speed, she rushed at them, scythe raised. Mika barely managed to dodge as the curved blade slashed past, cutting through the air like a guillotine.

'She's too fast. Too strong.'

Nyx moved with eerie precision, walking forward at a measured pace while firing round after round from her FAMS-1V. The impacts shook the ground, forcing everyone to scatter.

Mika clenched her jaw. 'I need to disarm her. That scythe… it's making everything worse. But even without it, she's overpowering us like it’s nothing.'

Seia watched, helpless. Her sickness left her unable to move at their speed, unable to help, unable to fight.

Then, a shockwave burst forth from Nyx, knocking everyone back. The sheer force sent them tumbling, their bodies crashing into rubble and dirt. By the time Sensei looked up, the others were barely able to stand. Blood stained the battlefield.

And Nyx was right in front of him.

The scythe arced upward, poised to strike. Sensei had no time to react—

But Mika did.

She lunged, grabbing the tip of the blade before it could pierce through Sensei. Her grip was firm, but Nyx was stronger. She yanked Mika forward, then slammed her into the ground with a force that sent cracks splintering beneath them.

"Why?!" Nyx's voice cracked, fury and desperation interwoven. "Why can't I go near Seia?!"

Her fists rained down on Mika, again and again. Blood spattered against the ruined earth, staining Nyx’s knuckles, soaking Mika’s uniform.

'Why can’t I be normal?' 'Why does Mika always have to be jealous?' 'Why won’t she just shut up and die?'

Mika coughed, the bright pink of her halo flickering weakly. Her lips curled into a pained smile.

"To protect you… from yourself."

Nyx froze. Just for a second. Just enough time for Mika to breathe again.

Then, fury overtook her. She lifted her gun. The shot echoed, the explosion blinding.

Seia’s voice finally broke through.

"Nyx, STOP!"

But the bullets didn’t stop. Even as Mika lay broken and barely breathing, Nyx kept shooting. Again. Again. Again.

Seia's tears fell freely, her heart breaking as she watched her friend dying right in front of her.

"STOP!!"

Her scream tore through the battlefield. Her hands clawed at the ground, reaching forward in desperation—

And then, everything stopped.

"NO, THE TRUE GOD OF ERADICATION! NO! NO!"

As "it" watched,

Nyx’s flames flickered and died. The magenta glow in her eyes dimmed. Her scythe crumbled into ash, dissipating into nothing. She tried to summon another black sphere of energy—nothing came. She tried to fire again—her gun clicked, empty.

The power was gone.

The anger disappeared.

And then, finally, Nyx looked around.

She saw Mika, barely alive. She saw Seia, sobbing. She saw her friends, battered and broken. She saw the destruction she had caused.

She fell to her knees.

Her hands trembled as she reached out, as if trying to undo it all. But she couldn’t.

"Why…?" her voice was barely a whisper.

She looked up at Sensei, searching for something—answers, maybe, or reassurance.

"I'm sorry."

But Sensei's face said everything.

There was relief, yes. That it was over.

But there was disappointment.

And that stayed longer than anything else.

Because in one single moment, Nyx had destroyed everything.

Every chance she had at Trinity.

Every chance to be with Seia.

Every chance to be better.

And that, more than anything else, broke her.
