Rachel's POV:
What an amazing day, the clouds are shining with a white glow, the sun is out everything seems so perfect. Until it isn't, until you get to school bust your ass just to get a C. That actually happened to me today, I hate Mr. Wells.
Flashback
"Rachel, stop being such an ass to my son. Next time ill fail you for the term." His voice laced with venom. Dude... I just got to school, glancing at the paper Mr. Wells dropped on my desk, I'm faced with the best grade ever. A fucking C. Are you kidding me?
Already lost in my thoughts I start thinking of ways to sabotage his son, Lee. I despise that boy, he's incredibly immature and incapable of anything handed down to him, not that there is anything that will be handed down. But I already know this road isn't gonna be the best to seek my "revenge" you could call it. I'd say its a harmful prank? Not too mediocre and not too intense just right in the middle.
End of Flashback.
Which is why I'm at his house hiding behind a large tree that overshadows his room window. Currently my plan is to throw rocks until his window eventually breaks and then proceed to light some of his yard on fire to spell the words "fuck you" using gasoline while he and his parents are distracted with the shattered window. Huh yeah that sounds like a solid plan.
"Breathe in and out." I whisper to no one in particular except myself. Nerves now somewhat shaken off I begin with my self-produced and carefully designed plan of vengeance. Looking around I try to see if I can spot any big rocks or just any hefty rocks in general that look good enough to shatter a window. Eventually I do actually spot one, picking it up I throw it with my werewolf strength and the window gets a crack with the rock stuck in it...how strong is their window dude?
I am so doomed dude. Almost immediately I spot Lee jumping up from his bed looking like a homeless person, hair up and greasy, his face oh I wish you guys could see it. His eyes are wide as if someone just whispered a death threat to him, and his body language is so stiff he seems very alarmed and scared.
Right after I threw the rock I quickly ran to his lawn and began pouring gasoline in lines that will align to spell "fuck you" after it ignites from the lighter. Operation 1: break the assholes window which didn't really work and I didn't have a backup plan because werewolves are fast as heck leaving me only a window of time to complete operation 2: gasoline, "fuck you."
While I'm pouring the gasoline almost done with the word "you" I began to hear Lee and his parents arguing, not my problem. Just a couple moments later I finish operation 2 I begin to run to my car as quiet as possible to not be heard over the booming voices inside the Lee's house.
I grab the lighter and rush back to the lawn soon enough igniting their backyard into flames. "What a beautiful sight.." I say to myself as I am hidden behind the shadows of the trees, the familiar forest swallowing my being whole. Just watching the 3 figures run out to their backyard alarmed is the best sensation ill ever feel, well like top 3 I think, no i'm sure once I find my mate they will fulfill those 2 missing slots.
As I begin to retreat into the familiar warmth of the dark forest I hear snippets of the family arguing trying to find a solution. Something i've come to compare to the sound of my families horrified screams that will forever torment and haunt me till the day I die. Shaking those thoughts out of my mind I begin to walk back to my dorm at Westfield Wolf Academy.
"I'm back Emily! Hope you didn't miss me too much." Hearing a certain female chuckle my lips turn up in response. I love my friends. I turn into the kitchen to find Emily cooking spam glaze with creamy eggs and rice. My ears instantly go down once the loud music enters.
Turning around Emily begins to say, "Oh hey Rachel, I didn't hear you come in? you'd think I would hear anything with these ears right?" She says, pointing to her wolf ears.
(A/N; forgot to mention that their wolf ears are visible, anyways enjoy and keep reading!)
"Im not surprised you didn't hear me over your blasting music. Em you act like you don't have super hearing." Shaking my head with faint smile and small chuckle I begin to help set up the table to start eating.
Emily puts the food on the plates and I bring the plates to the well done and clean table shining its brown wood. "This looks really good Emily, wow your future mate is so lucky to have you."
"yeah yeah don't flatter me so much, looks don't matter to me the way it tastes matters to me most." She says with an eyeroll.
After that short conversation, I start digging into my food getting bites with a legendary combo of food on the spoon and eating it. This is like insanely good oh my gosh.
Feeling eyes on my I turn my head to look up at the person. "Where were you, Rachel?" of course she wants to know. I would too if I find my roommate coming home at 11 pm while i'm preparing a midnight snack.
"Just taking a stroll around the school, you know me Em." I see her narrow her eyes then a glint of amusement flashes. "Of course I know you girl but on that accord I also know you hate walking at night unless its something important." Whoops i'm caught?
"Alright fine, I was at the Lee's house tormenting their son and them like they did to me during school today."
Visibly seeing Emily sigh she starts speaking, "Rachel sometimes I wonder how your mate will handle you. Don't get me wrong, your strong, kind, understanding, and wont stand for any injustice but really? Arson?" The last bit made me laugh a little because of how she said it, her lips turn up clearly finding what she said funny as well.
This leads to us laughing and steering the conversation into something more light and funny. But I cant help the unsettling feeling of what's gonna happen tomorrow. They're surely gonna blame me and take their anger on me for what happened which was my fault but the way the torment people is next level. Especially when their anger is unpredictable.
