Kacy's POV

The people in my bloodline have each had a power. Some are powerful for wars and others are for thinking on the inside. There are many variations but my family focuses on physical touch, that is how we activate our powers.

Whatever I touch would give me a backstory on it due to my ability. It is not automatic but instead on command.

I like it, its cool.

Oh right, the Tyche dragon. In this 'Dragon-Pedia' it says the dragon is very fierce and is seen as a good-luck charm? Fierce? So far based on the necklace it has not shown it's physical form, doesn't seem very fierce to me.

I gently placed my hand on the page and focused on the name of the species. Tyche Tyche Tyche

Ugh, the headaches that come with this ability are soooo annoying! I grip my head as my ability, object residue does its magic.

No one knows about the abilities that royals obtain when they hit a certain age, the royals themselves don't know why either.

Gossip spread that the moon goddess favored us more than the others. I doubt it, my mind is set on the fact that the first royal of my bloodline must've done something.

I want to find out.

Flashes of pictures and sounds hit me once I finish my thoughts. This is my second time using my ability, I can be "present" in the past sometimes. It really is just a lucky chance that I favor.

'Come on Ethe!' A small boy said in his squeaky voice.

Woah its really trippy here, everything is in black and white. Whatever is around me looks so weird and disoriented? Can they see me?

I waved my hand in front of the boy, no reaction. Seems like they cant aw man. What the heck?? The dragon that I didn't notice by the boy's side was looking at me. Straight up.

A wave of nausea hit me when I went to walk somewhere again, ugh. Dropping my head I knelt down to the ground hoping the pain would leave.

Suddenly, it stopped.

I never want to feel that again I mean who would?! It feels like my head was being banged by a hammer!

A wave of smoke made its way onto my face. Eugh! I waved my hands around trying to redirect it somewhere else. It was after the smoke was gone that I looked up meeting the dragon's eyes.

Oh that bastard, he did that didn't he? It nodded it's head as if to say yes. Wait why can it see me and why can it do anything to me?? I'm in the literal past dude.

'Ethe? Why are you just staying there?' I didn't realize the boy left this area until he said that.

The dragon I presume is a Tyche dragon followed the young boy. Probably his master.

This isn't even showing me the past of the Tyche dragons! It is just showing a young boy and his dragon.

Then a wave of nausea hit me and I went into the oh so familiar spiral of memories that happens. I'm so sick of this.

The sound of gunfire and screams woke me out of the trance. The scene in front of me was truly a horrid thing. This was the war between dragons and mankind, no one knows why it happened.

Guess I'm about to find out huh?

A scene infront of me caught my attention specifically, a warrior I presume is their best fighter up against a large shining green silver dragon. What stupid people! No warrior could kill a dragon.

The way the dragon moved just gave off dignity and purpose. It reminds me of a Tyche dragon.

In one hit the warrior was dead. The dragon that fought it just stared at the body of it's enemy before flying to another battle. At least that is what I thought would've happened, it just stayed there until shifting it's gaze onto... me?

Am I not invisible to dragons?

The so called Tyche dragon huffed before doing what I previously thought it was gonna do.

I was fast-forwarded into the aftermath of the war. It does not look good for the dragons, they lost the war of 1432. The dragons are slaves for the warriors some are getting stamped while others are being beat for not behaving.

You cannot force a dragon to behave under your command! It is a wild animal, a dangerous one at that. Is what I wanted to scream at the inhumane people.

The dragons I have seen so far do not seem like a Tyche dragon? They all scream dignity, prosperity, purpose. Not fortune

Where did they get the title fortune?

I looked around for a while, a big cabin in the woods. It is dark outside. There were large cages everywhere and the dragons seemed to be about 10 feet in height and 5 feet wide.

One particular pair caught my eye. The owner of this certain beast was not being cruel and mean to it. Instead it was given kindness and respect, I can see it in the dragon's eyes that he admires his owner. Sees him as an equal.

The dragon's eyes black out completely for a second before going back to normal. Weird.

Turning back to look at the owner, he had many people come up to him for trade and goods. Some even gave free goods. Is that why the Tyche dragon gained the fortune title?

On command it can give fortune to it's most dearest owner.

I removed my hand from the book and took a moment for a breather. "Kacy where have you been? I woke up without you by my side, it deeply saddened me." Oh Rachel, she can be such a pain sometimes. I love her to death though.

"I was just reading a book, dear. Need something?" I asked her. She shook her head before wrapping her hands around my waist and dragging me with her onto a nearby couch.

I was dropped onto her lap, trying to get comfortable I visibly shifted on her lap. Whoops wrong move.

"Don't move so much, Kay?" She warned me. One can only guess that she was getting aroused, the evidence clear by the bulge I feel on my ass. Gosh keep it down for once, Rachel!
