Rachel's POV

Its been 3 weeks since I was scolded at by Kacy for being wreckless, no way I wasn't that wreckless right? Whatever, she's been acting weird and suspicious lately... like whenever I go and hug her she pushes me off and yells at me! I cant believe her.

Also when she asks for something and I give it to her, exactly how she said she wanted it by the way she would get mad and upset that I did it wrong! Ugh.

There is also this weird scent she's had lately and I cant find out what it specifically is.

"RACHEL!! COME HERE!" There she goes, pray for me because I will return with a black eye.

I made a praying motion with my hands before leaving the room and going to her, "Yes, my love?" I said it in the nicest voice I could possibly utter.

"Why did you leave this mess?! It is so simple to clean water! Why do you make such a mess when you brush your teeth!" Okay, I admit that was my fault but don't you see how crazy she seems right now? Not in the crazy crazy way of course.

"No worries, love. I can clean it up right now."

"You better." She muttered before leaving the bathroom.

To be honest, when she is like this its kinda hot... but it's also so tiring and annoying because I can never be right and give her what she wants.

I like both sides though, heh I remember when I used to be scared of her. Oh wow, I really did huh?

Oh right, we are having a visit from a kingdom in the west, I forgot the name I think Kacy said something like 'Kopeal Kingdom' I cant remember but that is a pretty dope name to be honest.

I think they're coming today actually..

Just as I said that I hear trumpet sounds and sirens indicating the arrival of the Kopeal's. The name seems so eerie and cool.

No, it is eerie. I feel as if we have seen or heard this name before, not in a good circumstance. I heard Jae say.

Do you remember it at all? I questioned.

I kinda do, it's just little snippets of it though. I remember something chasing us while we were running at the age of six, the scent of the thing chasing us smells familiar to the scent the 'Kopeal' kingdom has.

Okay well it could just be a coincidence, there are many supernaturals some are bound to have the same scent right?

I know I'm just making excuses but I truly don't want to believe they are the same people.

I hate remembering what happened that day.

Jaedene never responded back, I assume she left it alone not wanting to touch the subject either.

The dragon necklace I have on started to glow a bit, I have my suspicions that the necklace has another purpose then just being like a good luck charm. Just then a deep rusty voice pierced through my mind.

Holy fuck, what the hell was that... I winced once more when I felt a really bad gut feeling and stomach ache. Is this because of the Kopeals? I didn't have this feeling before though.. it wouldn't make sense.

"All welcome the Kopeal King! Sean Kopeal!" My heart dropped at that name. Why? No idea.

Goosebumps rose on my skin and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, what's happening? I have a bad gut feeling, stomach ache which has me crouching over in pain, and now I have goosebumps.

A-and that weird voice that said something! What did it even mean? The body doesn't see but the mind can see impending doom?

"Rachel? Are you okay? You look deathly pale." I snapped out of my daze and looked up into my mate's eyes seeming as it is the only thing grounding me at the moment.

I blinked a couple times and wiped my hands across my face trying to get back to reality. Her brows were furrowed and her lips were in a tight line, concern was evident on that beautiful face of hers.

"yeah. Yep I'm good, what's happening?" She did not believe me for a second. Oh how I wish she dropped it at that.

"No, I'm done with this fake reassurance. Tell me what is going on in that hard head of yours?" She said while knocking on my forehead with her knuckles.

I grumbled trying to stop her attacks before truthfully responding to her question.

"I don't want to tell you everything though... is that okay?" I quietly responded.

She nodded her head and I continued, "I got this bad gut feeling when I heard the Kopeal's coming over. I don't know why but I did." Kacy's face was deeply written with an expression that screamed 'what the hell..?' in a concerned way.

It wasn't until I mentioned how my necklace glowed in that moment when her expression changed drastically.

She looked surprised and alarmed. It has to do with what I said about my necklace right?

"I have a couple things to tell you but please don't get mad that I hid this from you, okay?" I slowly nodded a little cautious of what she will say.

"That necklace was created because a Tyche dragon sealed itself in it vowing to protect whoever wore it." What?

A Tyche dragon? The necklace passed down from my family is a dragon protection charm? I mean I knew it was a protection thing but I didn't know a dragon protected us.

"What? How do you know this?" I questioned skeptically.

"A few weeks ago I went into the library and searched for a couple books my father had. I did that because I had my suspicions about your necklace."

"I came across a book titled, 'Dragon-Pedia' and decided why not take a look? I was sure whatever that dragon imprint on your necklace was would be in the book." She eyed me I guess she was trying to see my expression but I had on a expression that basically screamed 'keep going!'

She continued, " I came across a dragon that looked similar to your necklace, I looked through the information and it told me about it, how it protects it's owners with their life and grants fortune." Woah...

"So my necklace is like a thing to warn me of unfortunate events..?" She nodded but her eyes held something else, like she was keeping something from me?

It wasn't just one thing though.
