Paintbrush just let's Lightbulb sleep on them until they decide they need to take action. They leave her behind and walk to her room.

Paintbrush's pov:

It's not that far off into the day, so Lightbulb won't be asleep, she'll just be taking a nap. I have to do this quick, before she wakes up.

I sneak into her room, which is much cozier than mine, she has it all decorated and there's a lot more space since she removed the second persons stuff. She also got a solo room for personal reasons, I believe she talked to OJ when he was planning the rooms.

I walk around trying to find her diary. Where would she put it? I look around and see my paintings and some of her drawings. This is wrong. I continue to search.

I carefully move her pillows and look under them, nothing. Not even a tooth for the tooth fairy, which she believes in.

I put the pillows back and check under her bed and mattress. Nope. Just 5 dollars for some reason.

I look in her drawers, there has to be something in there! Nothing. Just socks and gloves. And some jewellery. I look on top of the dresser and inside but I couldn't find it. I know she has a diary, I've seen her with it, did she get a new one? I don't think so.

"Ow!" I look down at my leg as something pinches my ankle. Baxter is looking angerly at me. "What?" He snaps at me and gives a "you know what" look.

"Hey chill out, I promise I'm not doing anything bad!" He snaps at me again and hits my ankles again. "OW! " I pick him up and place him on the bed. "Stop. Bad crab. Think of what Lightbulb would say!" (N/A "Good job Baxter" that's what she'd say. ) "Jeez." I walk away from the bed and go to the bathroom. Baxter follows.

I check the cabinets and see pills after pills. Now im really worried. Baxter snaps again. "WILL YOU STOP? I'M NOT SNOOPING AROUND FOR NO REASON! " He stares at me. I kneal down to face him. "I'm just trying to find her diary-" He snaps me in the face. I flinch and pick him up and face him away from me. "Okay I know that sounds bad but I promise I have good reason. " He makes some noise, I'm guessing a crab sound and tries to snap at me but I hold his claws.

"Listen, I need to find out if Lighty likes me, I'm too scared to ask her myself so... I thought I'd find it in her diary. " I whisper at him. He looks at me in realization and wriggles out of my grip. "Huh- where are you going? " I follow him to the cabinet I checked, the one above her bed. He hops on top and points to it. Wow I thought he was actually being usefull. I guess not.

"Baxter, I already checked here." He taps the cabinet again. "Fine I'll check it. Again. " I open up the cabinet. Nothing but a capsule of pills, a few tissues, some kind of medicin/syringe and a box, a kinda flat box. He taps on the box. I pick it up and take it to the bed.

I open it up and find a fully decorative note book. "Lightbulb's Diary ❤ DO NOT LOOK THROUGH!!!!! " Wow I'm going to regret this.

I really shouldn't be doing this...

But I need to know.

I open to the first page to find a small description of herself included with a picture and drawing of her. How cute.

I try to skip but end up reading from the start.

"Hi guys! I will be using this to write down stuff, as one should. Feelings, stuff that happened, all that!!! Please ask to look through bc I have private things in here :("

"Today I bought yarn for the challenge but we didn't use it. I had to eat it because I will NOT waste money!! It was good tho." I chuckle.

"So I think I'm sick :(" "I vomited." "My tummy doesn't feel good" "I'm better now!!!"

"Women. Am I right??? ≧﹏≦" I wonder if I classify as a woman if she only likes women. Which is just an assumption.

"I need to get more pills." I lean in. So these are the pills. "I'm running out of my ADHD and depression medicine." Depression? Oh no Lighty... "I also need to get more of the Feminizing hormone therapy tablet things-" WHAT. I drop the diary and look up. Baxter stares at me. "What." ...

"What." I stare down at the flipped book and turned it over again. I find a small section called "My transition!" Oh god. I stuff my face into the bed. "what... " I just lay there for a bit. How did I not know this? Why didn't she tell me?

(N/A I know in season 1 she was called he and paintbrush was there and then she was referenced as a she but SHHHHH NUH UH)

I wish she told me. I would have supported her all the way! I still support her. Wow. This isn't a big deal, it changes nothing about her. I check the diary again. It goes on about challenges and all that show stuff.

"I think I have a crush." AHA! Here we are! I start to kick my feet as I read. (Silly) "Okay wow! I know so um. I've talked about them but I never thought I would write about them like this. "

"Paintbrush is my best friend, or at least to me, but for some reason... They're cuter now? I DON'T KNOW!!!! They seem so cute every time they laugh and I love their smile and I love them and I love AHHHHHH Jeebers... But they've been so mean to me :((( I don't think they like me anymore but I like them now. It is bad that I find them hot when they yell at me? That's bad right?"

I put the diary away and hold Baxter. We stare at each other. I squeal like a girl and hug him. He snaps at my hair and I let go. "Sorry but... Ah!!!!" I get up and twirl. "Wait why am I so happy?" I found out she likes me, but so what? I would be shocked and confront her, but now I want to dance and tell everyone I'm in love.

I like her too.

'Well, no shit Sherlock what took you so long?' I think to myself. I put the diary back and kiss Baxter on the head. "Thank you, thank you so much." I walk out the room. I close the door behind and stand for a bit before going back to my room. I slowly open the door to see Lighty curled up. She's so cute. But she's right, I have been way too rude to her. This ends now.

I go over and tuck her in. I stare at her. She gently snores. I look back and around, no one else is here, not even fan.

I look down at her and smile. I kiss her on the forehead and leave, making myself blush.

I skip down the stairs and hallway, almost tripping.

AHHHHHHH So um. Yeah. The romance is ripe from here on!!!! 😛🤑 I feel like I've forgotten about Knife and fan. Uh oh. Giggles and kicks my feet. I liked writing this chapter, though I feel like I could have added more. That's fine. :))) bye chat see you in the next chapter
