⚠️TW HALLUCINATIONS⚠️
In-ho stood up off the floor and sat back onto the sofa, he offered gi-hun a hand, but he shot him a glare and stood up, significantly taller than in-ho, and sat back down hesitantly. The game had begun, gi-hun watched, almost trembling, watching the timer, while the players desperately searched for hiding spots. In-ho, being his cocky self, pulled gi-hun closer, putting his arm around him. Gi-huns body urged to protest, to attack in-ho again. To remind him he's not his toy. But he looked over to the gaurd, anger boiling in his fist. He knew the gaurd would step in immediately. Gi-hun fidgeted with his hands, watching anxiously at the screen.
"Hiders your time is now up! Seekers, you have 10 minutes to find and tag 4 players each, if you fail you will be, eliminated."
The female robotic voice spoke, once again.
Gi-hun clenched his fists, wishing he was in there to help everyone, but instead he was sitting here, having the luxury of sitting and watching.
The seekers immediately ran around the room, desperately searching for anyone they could spot. The first person was found, they quickly stumbled to their feet and ran, but someone hiding under a slide, tripped them. Causing them to loose their balance, and get tagged. The first gunshot rang out through the room. Gi-hun flinching, closing his eyes. In-ho looked at him, and slightly tightened the grip he had on his shoulder. A sly grin forming on his face, as he looked back at the screen, watching the unsettling event unfold. By every second passing, a new person was tagged, each gunshot hitting gi-hun hard, like he was the one getting shot. Player 222 had luckily managed to tag 3 people, but the timer had 1 minute left, she sobbed, looking down defeated, but then, her ex boyfriend stumbled over to her and allowed her to tag him, immediately being shot by a nearby gaurd. The timer was now up. It was now the second round, a new set of 4 players being chosen to be seekers. In-ho was lost in the game, enjoying the drama like he always had. Gi-hun was grieving, he felt defeated. His eyes had unshed tears but he didn't let them fall. Each person he looked at reminded him of sang-woo. and jung-bae. Each minute passing, a few people were killed. It was now the third round, and a distant music started playing.
"Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars.."
Gi-hun looked around the room, confused, until he saw where it was coming from."
"Let me see what spring is like on, jupiter, and mars.."
"How could you play this music at a time like this?!" Gi-hun said, turning to in-ho.
"How could I not. I don't care about these people." In-ho replied a gaze meeting gi-hun that made him nauseous
"I cant believe you!" Gi-hun said, pulling away from in-ho, in-hos arm no longer around gi-hun.
Gi-hun ignored the music, He continued to force himself to watch, but his eyes slightly blurred. he blinked a few times, and when his eyes returned his sight, he saw sang-woo. He blinked a few times, and straightened his bad posture, sure he was just mistaking someone for him, but it was him. "218" on his jacket
"Sang-woo?!" He asked outloud, starting to stand up.
"Gi-hun??" In-ho asked, but gi-hun ignored him, shocked at what he was seeing. Tears forming fast in his eyes.
"Sang-woo?! How are you alive?!" He yelled frantically.
The figure he saw on the screen stared back at him, with an emotionless glare.
"Gi-hun. Why did you kill us, and leave us behind?" The figure asked gi-hun, still with a disturbing presence, and emotionless attire.
Gi-hun immediately turned around, and ran down the hallway, the door suprisingly being unlocked, he opened it briefly, desperate to see his "friend".
"Gi-hun! Where do you think youre going?!" In-ho yelled, chasing after him quickly.
Gi-hun sprinted down the endless stairs, ignoring in-ho, tears spilling from his eyes. He opened endless doors, hoping to find the right one. He noticed in-ho chasing after him, and quickly opened a door, shutting it behind him and locking it. He scanned the room for any potential gaurds, but there was none. Only a 20 foot doll from red light, green light. He saw sang-woo watching him quietly, across the room.
"Sang-woo!" Gi-hun cried, running to him, throwing himself into his arms.
But sang-woo didnt hug back, he felt almost unreal.
"S-sang-woo..! Im so sorry for everything! Please forgive me..!" Gi-hun sobbed, hugging sang-woo tightly.
Sang-woo pushed gi-hun off him, a sickening glare in his lifeless eyes.
"You. You killed me. Im dead because of you." Sang-woo replied coldly.
"W-wait im sorry!" Gi-hun yelled gripping sang-woo, begging him to listen.
"I will never forgive you gi-hun. My mother now is alone, because of you." Sang-woo replied.
"I-i gave her your share of money! She has sae-beyoks younger brother!" Gi-hun yelled, desperate to convince his lifeless friend to forgive him.
"Oh so you think you can replace me with sae-beyoks brother huh?" Sang-woo replied, coldly.
"I-it's not like that..!" Gi-hun looked up at him, sobbing
"You killed me." Sang-woo replied.
"Im so sorry..." Gi-hun pleaded, getting no response.
"I hate you." Sang-woo said, aimlessly.
Gi-hun continued to sob, defeated. He let go of sang-woo and continued to apologize, but when he looked up, he was gone.
"Sang-woo?!" He yelled, frantically.
He stood up and frantically looked around the room, but sang-woo was gone. He yelled for sang-woo, on the floor sobbing, but he was interrupted by the door being lock picked open. In-ho, followed by 2 square gaurds, entered the room.
"Gi-hun!" In-ho yelled, his usual cocky personality, being replaced by sincere worry.
Gi-hun ignored him, sobbing.
"Gi-hun. Who were you talking to?!" In-ho questioned him, scanning the room, worried someone broke in.
In-ho knelt down infrount of him, making him face him.
"S-sang-woo.. where did he go...?" Gi-hun muttered, barely audible.
It was normal for him to have nightmares of sang-woo, but this was different.
"Sang-woo?." In-ho didnt remember sang-woo, until he thought back to when gi-hun first had played the games. The person who gi-hun fought in the last game, and let him win.
"But sang-woo died gi-hun." In-ho replied, slightly confused.
Gi-hun looked up at him, and slapped him hard, still sobbing.
"How dare you s-say his name! He was just here!" Gi-hun yelled at him.
In-ho, realized he was hallucinating. And grapped his wrist and pulled him out of the room.
"Let me go! Goddamnit!" Gi-hun yelled, tears slurring his voice.
"No. Sang-woo wasnt there.!" In-ho replied, frustrated he was the reason gi-hun was like this. He felt guilt for the first time.
Gi-hun was speechless. Letting in-ho pull him up the stairs and to in-hos room.
