Tank smirked as he drove through Montana. He watched Kayla, who was curled up in the bed, sleeping soundly. After their early morning rounds of sex, they had showered at the rest stop, where she needed another round of him, and of course, he obliged—he would never turn Kayla down. She had managed to take his dick during three separate rounds, and now she was exhausted, lying naked in the back. When they got in from the shower, she stripped down and got in the bed as she had no energy left, didn't even bother to eat.

His woman was insatiable, and he loved it.

Tank kept his focus on the open road, gripping the steering wheel with one hand while his other rested on his lap. He was determined to make it to Seattle before nightfall so he could unload early the next morning. Once they got to Seattle, he was going to buy Kayla a new iPhone. He had destroyed and tossed her old one out back in South Dakota, making sure no one could track her. She needed a new number, a fresh start.

He knew she was still a little shaken up from her nightmare, but she seemed better now. The sex probably helped calm her nerves, and if that's what it took to keep her mind at ease, Tank would keep fucking her until she forgot every damn fear she ever had. He didn't mind.

Kayla was his.

And he was hers.

They had only known each other for about seven months, but they had been together almost every day since then. Some people would say their relationship moved too fast, but Tank didn't give a damn. He wouldn't have it any other way. Kayla was his woman, and protecting her was his main priority. Whatever she needed, he would provide. That was his job.

He was her man. Her protector.

A soft whimper came from the back, and Tank glanced in the mirror, seeing Kayla shifting in the bed. Her long curls were wild, sprawled over the pillow, her skin glowing even in the dim lighting of the rig. She stretched, her toned body on full display, making Tank's dick twitch in his sweats.

"Tanky..." she murmured, her voice thick with sleep.

"Yeah, baby?"

She sat up slightly, rubbing her eyes before looking toward the front. "You almost there?"

"Still got a few hours."

Kayla yawned and stretched again, arching her back in a way that had Tank gripping the steering wheel a little tighter. She was completely unbothered by the fact that she was naked, sitting up with her legs spread like she wasn't tempting the hell out of him.

"You okay?" he asked, his eyes shifting back to the road, even though he could feel her looking at him.

She nodded. "Just woke up horny."

Tank groaned low, shaking his head. "You gon' be the death of me, lil' bit."

Kayla giggled and climbed up to the front, slipping into the passenger seat. She placed a hand on his thigh, rubbing up toward his dick, which was already stiffening beneath his sweats.

"You need both hands to drive?" she asked innocently, her fingers dancing over his bulge.

Tank exhaled sharply, gripping the wheel tighter. "What you think?"

Kayla smirked and leaned down, her tongue tracing over the outline of his dick through his sweats.

Tank clenched his jaw. "Lil' bit, don't start nothin' you can't finish."

She looked up at him, her brown eyes filled with mischief. "I always finish, Tanky."

And with that, she tugged his sweats down just enough to free his thick, heavy dick.

Tank let out a deep groan as she wrapped her lips around him, her tongue swirling over the tip before taking him deeper into her warm, wet mouth. His free hand immediately found her curls, gripping a handful as he guided her pace, watching as her head bobbed up and down on his dick.

"Shit, Kayla," he gritted out, his hips twitching slightly.

She moaned around him, the vibration sending shivers up his spine. His abs clenched as she took him deeper, gagging slightly before pulling back, her tongue gliding along the underside.

Tank's knuckles turned white against the steering wheel.

Kayla was too damn good at this. Too damn good at making him lose his mind.

"You tryna make me wreck this damn truck," he growled, his grip tightening in her hair.

Kayla smirked against his shaft before sucking harder, hollowing her cheeks and taking him deep again, her throat relaxing as she let him slide all the way in.

"Fuck—"

Tank gritted his teeth, his abs flexing, his body tense as she worked him over like she owned him. And maybe she did. Because right now, nothing mattered but the way her mouth felt wrapped around him, the way she was making love to his dick like she needed him to feel how much she loved him.

He groaned deep, his hips jerking as he felt his release creeping up. "You bet' not stop—"

Kayla didn't. She moaned, sucked harder, took him deeper—until Tank lost all control, his entire body tensing as he came hard down her throat.

His hand stayed locked in her hair as he groaned through the pleasure, his eyes fluttering closed for just a second as she swallowed every drop.

When she finally pulled back, licking her lips, Tank exhaled sharply, shaking his head.

"You a fuckin' menace," he muttered, adjusting his sweats.

Kayla giggled, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand before leaning over to kiss his cheek. "Just showing my man some love."

Tank smirked, glancing at her before returning his eyes to the road. "Damn right I'm your man."

Kayla settled back in the seat, looking out at the road ahead. She felt safe with Tank. Loved. Cared for and as long as she had him, she wasn't afraid of anything.

As Tank and Kayla were driving through Montana, Dina sat in Tanya's house as Tanya nursed Frankie. Dina was going on and on about how her, Darling, and their mama came by to see Tank, but he didn't pay Darling any attention.

Tanya smirked, adjusting Frankie against her chest. "I told you he was gone off that girl."

Tanya had warned Dina weeks ago that Tank was obsessed with Kayla, but clearly, Dina hadn't wanted to believe it.

"I don't see why he's so gone off Kayla," Dina huffed. "Like Darling don't look better."

Tanya chuckled but didn't respond. She knew why her baby brother was acting the way he was. She had seen it with her own eyes.

One morning, Tanya had gotten up early to retrieve some eggs, and she was shocked when she walked past the barn and caught a glimpse of Tank bending Kayla over.

Tanya had jumped back so fast, hoping they didn't see her. But what she saw? Whew. From the way Tank was handling that girl, it all made sense now.

And from the quick glance she stole, he damn sure didn't have a condom on. Tanya shook her head at the thought.

"Looks aside, Tank ain't coming up off Kayla, and that's just the reality, Dina," Tanya said, voice firm. "Besides, Darling would never go on the road with Tank. But Kayla does, and that means something to him."

Dina sucked her teeth. "Girl, I don't even know why he wanna drive trucks. He could be doing something better."

Tanya's eyes narrowed. "Not too much on my baby brother."

Dina rolled her eyes. "I'm just saying."

"And I'm just saying," Tanya snapped. "See, you and your is family too damn bougie. That's why him and Darling didn't work, and won't work."

Dina folded her arms, annoyed.

Tanya smirked. "Kayla might not be prettier than Darling according to you, but Kayla rides for Tank. Literally."

Dina sucked her teeth again.

"Darling was trying to change him," Tanya continued, "while Kayla just embraces him. And that's the difference."

Dina smacked her lips, irritated. She cares deeply about Darling, just like Tanya cares deeply about Tank. And if Tank was really Darling's one true love, Dina was damn sure gonna help her little sister get him back.

Dina rolled her eyes, realizing this conversation wasn't going anywhere. Tanya was stubborn, just like Tank, and there was no changing her mind. Fine. She wasn't about to sit here and argue all day. She had better things to do.

"Alright, girl, I'ma head out," Dina sighed, standing up and stretching.

Tanya smirked, shifting Frankie to her other arm. "Yeah, go on and run back to Darling with this lil' report."

Dina ignored the jab and leaned in to hug Tanya, then pressed a soft kiss to Frankie's forehead. "Bye, handsome," she cooed, rubbing his tiny back before grabbing her Gucci purse and heading for the door.

Tanya watched from the window as Dina strutted out to her Range Rover, her Gucci heels clicking against the pavement.

That girl and her sister just don't get it.

Tank was gone over Kayla. And if Darling thought she had a chance of getting him back, she was setting herself up for failure.

Dina slid into her driver's seat, pulling out her phone as she started the car.

This was bigger than just helping Darling now. She had to come up with a real plan if she was gonna break whatever spell Kayla had put on Tank.

Because from the way Tanya talked, Tank wasn't just messing with that girl.

He was in love and that was a problem.

Dina drove home, her phone on speaker as she talked to Darling, trying to figure out how to break Kayla and Tank up.

"I'm telling you, Tank isn't budging. She straight-up said Tank isn't coming up off that girl, and from the way she was talking, Kayla got that boy wrapped around her damn finger," Dina sighed, turning onto their long driveway.

Darling huffed. "That doesn't make sense, Dina. Tank and I were supposed to be forever. That girl doesn't have nothing on me. I just don't get it."

Dina understood her sister's frustration, but clearly, Tank had moved on. "Girl, you should have never let him go in the first place."

Darling sucked her teeth. "So, what? I'm just supposed to let him be with that nobody?"

Dina parked, cutting the engine. "Hell no. We need a real plan, and I think mommy and daddy should be in on this."

Darling paused, then sighed. "Alright. I'll see you inside."

Dina stepped out, flipping her hair over her shoulder before strutting into the house. As soon as she walked into the dining room, she spotted her mother, and Darling sitting at the table across from their father, William.

Dominique sipped her wine, raising a brow. "Well? What did Tanya say about this girl?"

Dina set her purse down, plopping into the seat next to Darling. "Not much. She just kept saying Tank is gone over her, like, deep in love. And from the way she talking Kayla isn't going nowhere."

Dominique scoffed, sitting up straighter. "So, what do we know about her?"

Dina and Darling exchanged glances before Dina shrugged. "Not much."

William set his fork down, rubbing his beard as he listened. His daughter, his Darling, was in love with Tank, and he had always liked the boy. He came from a good family, had a strong work ethic. He should've been marrying into their family, not running off with some girl nobody knew.

"Well," William said, leaning back in his chair, "sounds like we need to find out exactly who this girl is."

Dominique glanced at her husband. "And how do you suggest we do that?"

William gave them all a knowing look. "We hire a private investigator.
