Four Years Later –
It had been four years since they settled in America, and Supriya had grown into a determined young woman.
Supriya dramatically stretched her arms and sighed. "I have learned so much in this place… and now, it's my final year in college. Who knew I’d survive engineering?"
From the dining table, Ravi called out, "Come here and eat your breakfast! Today’s your job interview, right? As I told you before, you can just work in our company, but noooo, you—”
Supriya raised her hand like a traffic cop. "Please, bro! I want to be an independent girl!"
Arjun snorted. "Yeah, yeah… until your salary runs out and you come crying for Dad's credit card."
Supriya gasped, grabbing the nearest pillow to throw at him. "Brother!" She turned to her ultimate savior. "Dad! See, Brother is teasing me!"
Shiva, casually sipping his coffee, put down his newspaper and smirked. "Oi! Don’t you dare tease my princess. Only I have the right to do that!"
Supriya groaned. "Daaad…!"
Arjun laughed. "Face it, Supriya. Dad's the CEO of Teasing You Pvt. Ltd."
Ravi chuckled. "And I'm the Managing Director."
Shiva proudly added, "And I’ll be teasing you for a lifetime, sweetheart."
Supriya facepalmed. "Why does my own family treat me like a comedy show?"
The house erupted in laughter as another day of drama, love, and perfectly executed sibling rivalry began.

The Job Interview – A Past That Refuses to Fade
Supriya walked into the interview room, her heart steady. She had prepared well for this, determined to carve her own path. But the moment she saw the CEO, her steps faltered.
Mahesh.
For a brief second, time stood still. A rush of emotions, memories, and an eerie sense of familiarity flooded her mind.
Mahesh’s eyes widened in shock. “Supriya…? You were here all this time? I was looking for you!”
Supriya frowned. “Do I know you?”
Mahesh took a deep breath, hesitating before saying, “I’m… your husband.”
And in that moment, it all came back. The past life. The pain. The regrets.
Memories crashed into Supriya’s mind—her wedding, the lonely nights, the unspoken words, and the day she left everything behind for a love that never existed.
Mahesh froze as well, realization dawning on him. He had been reborn. She had been reborn. The past they thought they had left behind had come back to haunt them.
Supriya’s expression turned cold. “I was… and will never be your wife again.”
Mahesh’s breath hitched. “Again? That means—you too was reborn?”
Supriya crossed her arms, her voice steady. “Yes. And I don’t want anything to do with the past. Mahesh, I was never mad at you. Our marriage was forced on you, and I don’t blame you for how it turned out. You can be happy with your girlfriend.”
Mahesh shook his head. “I broke up with her.”
Supriya sighed, already knowing where this was going. “Why? Please… don’t say you love me.”
Mahesh took a step closer, his voice low but firm. “Yes, I love you.”
Supriya let out a bitter chuckle. “No, Mahesh. That’s not love. It’s guilt. You feel sorry for me. And that’s why I want you to go back to her. She’s a good person. Don’t miss your chance with her.”
Mahesh clenched his fists. “No, I—”
Supriya cut him off. “Think one more time. Do you really not love her?”
Mahesh opened his mouth, but no words came out.
Supriya gave him a small, knowing smile. “Just go… don’t miss her.”
And with that, she turned and left.
Leaving behind a past that had come back to test her, but this time—she refused to make the same mistake.
