The wedding:
Supriya and Kevin's wedding was already a riot-with music, dancing, and their signature cute fights.
"Kevin! You stepped on my lehenga!" Supriya huffed.
Kevin smirked. "Well, maybe if you stopped spinning around like a top, I wouldn't have!"
"Oh? So now it's my fault?"
"Obviously."
Supriya gasped dramatically. "How dare you?!"
And just like that, the bride and groom were back to bickering while the guests laughed and cheered them on.
But in the middle of all the chaos, Supriya's eyes caught something-or rather, someone.
Shivani.
And next to her?
Arjun.
Shivani's face paled when Supriya saw her. Taking a deep breath, she walked forward.
"I'm sorry," Shivani said softly. "I didn't know it was your wedding. I'll leave. And I'll never meet Arjun again."
Her voice was calm, but her eyes-Supriya knew that pain.
Without a word, Supriya suddenly pulled her into a tight hug.
Everyone, including Arjun, froze.
Shivani blinked. "S-Supriya...?"
Supriya pulled back with a smirk. "Why leave? I'd be sooo happy if you became my sister-in-law!"
Shivani's eyes widened. "What-"
Arjun, who had been enjoying a plate full of sweets, choked. "Wait. WHAT?!"
Before he could protest, a deep voice interrupted.
"Hmm, interesting."
The duo turned to see Shiva and Ravi standing there, arms crossed, grinning like they just found their next entertainment.
"Ohhh, what's this? Arjun and Shivani?" Ravi smirked. "When were you planning to tell us?"
Arjun panicked. "Wait, no-this is NOT what it looks like-"
Shiva clapped his hands. "Finally, my son is thinking about marriage! Now, how soon can we fix the date?"
Arjun groaned. "OH MY GOD, STOP."
Ravi grabbed his shoulder. "No, no. This is important. We must plan properly. Let's start with matching outfits for the couple!"
Arjun glared. "I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED."
Shivani, trying (and failing) to hold back her laughter, whispered, "Not yet, at least."
Arjun's face? Pure shock.
Supriya smirked. "Oh, I like her."
Kevin, sipping his juice from the side, nodded. "Yeah, yeah. More drama. Can we eat now?"
And just like that, the wedding became less about Supriya and Kevin-and more about Arjun's accidental engagement. ___
Supriya & Kevin's First Night - A Mix of Cute & Chaos
After all the wedding madness, Supriya was finally in her beautifully decorated room. Flowers, candles, soft music-the whole setup screamed romance.
She sighed, adjusting her heavy bridal lehenga. "Ugh, why do brides have to wear so many layers? I feel like a decorated cake."
Just then, Kevin walked in, loosening his sherwani with a smirk. "Well, Mrs. Kevin, you are the most beautiful cake I've ever seen."
Supriya rolled her eyes. "Flattery won't save you from what's coming next."
Kevin raised a brow. "And what exactly is coming next?"
She pointed at her jewelry. "Help me take these off. My neck is carrying the weight of a hundred gold bricks."
Kevin chuckled and walked over, his fingers brushing against her skin as he unclasped her necklace. Supriya shivered slightly, but of course, she refused to admit it.
"Cold?" Kevin teased, his voice lower than usual.
"Nope. Just thinking how slow you are," she shot back.
Kevin smirked, leaning closer. "Oh? Want me to go faster?"
Supriya's eyes widened. "W-Wait, I meant-"
Too late. Kevin scooped her up in his arms effortlessly.
Supriya gasped. "KEVIN! PUT ME DOWN!"
He walked toward the bed, still grinning. "Nope. You're mine now."
Supriya folded her arms. "I was yours even before the wedding, idiot."
Kevin chuckled. "Yeah, but now, I have official proof."
He gently placed her down, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. The playful mood suddenly shifted as his eyes softened.
"You know," he murmured, "I've waited so long for this moment."
Supriya felt her heart race. But instead of getting shy, she smirked. "To sleep next to me?"
Kevin laughed. "Yes, because nothing is more exciting than your cute snoring."
Supriya gasped. "I do NOT snore!"
Kevin leaned in, his lips inches from hers. "Hmm... guess I'll have to stay up all night and confirm."
And before she could protest, he finally closed the gap, kissing her softly.
Their first night was a mix of cute fights, teasing, stolen kisses, and undeniable love.
And just like that, Mrs. & Mr. Kevin started their forever-full of love, laughter, and endless banter.
Author's Note:
Life is like a train journey. If we get on the wrong train, we should get off quickly instead of worrying about what others think. Staying on the wrong path will only take us further away from where we are meant to be.
Just like in life, if we meet the wrong person, we shouldn't hold onto pain or fear judgment. Walking away isn't a failure-it's courage. It's the first step toward changing our destiny and finding true happiness.
Because in the end, the right journey will always lead us home.
