Chapter VI - Electric Encounter

The two Horror Hillians worked ruthlessly through the hot, clammy afternoon. Preparing the meal was exhausting: to set the table; to cook the food; to decorate the room - it seemed like an endless number of jobs to do before it would start.

"Dr Lazer, may you just switch that light on there, I am trying to change the colour of the light, but it is... not seeming to..." squeaked Sir Hollow Eyes, who was wedged between the power boxes.

"Is everything alright, Sir Hollow Eyes?" Dr Lazer spoke in a concerned and anxious manner.

Dr Lazer was listening intently for a response, but for some reason, there was no reply from the engaged, hard-working Horror Hillian. Darting across the grand room and heading towards Sir Hollow Eyes, Dr Lazer thought the worst. Staring in atrocity, Dr Lazer panicked! Sprawled across the floor was Sir Hollow Eyes, shaking. He had been flung a few meters from where he was originally working. Rapidly quivering in utter shock, Sir Hollow Eyes awoke with a start.

"Sir Hollow Eyes, are you ok?" Dr Lazer verbalized quietly.

"Where am I?" Sir Hollow Eyes sprung up from his feet, colliding with the gold pillar to the side of him. He steadily edged away from Dr Lazer, moving his hands backwards. In terror, he screamed:

"Get away from me!" he screeched, hoisting himself partly up the wall, scraping his back further and further up it until he got to his feet. Sir Hollow Eyes frantically scampered away, heading for the magnificent manor house door. Darting rapidly down the hallway, Lord Horror Hill was there and looked around in confusion.

"Where are you off to, Sir Hollow Eyes?" Lord Horror Hill exclaimed in a manner.

Dazed and confused, Sir Hollow Eyes placed his hands on his head. Cradling his head with his hands, he whimpered.

"Are you alright, Sir Hollow Eyes," Lord Horror Hill placidly commented, whilst staring at the sobbing Horror Hillian.

Trying desperately to remember where he was, Sir Hollow Eyes exhaled in and out. Imminently, overloads of memories flooded back to the poor Horror Hillian.

"Lord... what happened?" Sir Hollow Eyes calmly queried.

"You tell me Hollow Eyes?" Lord Horror Hill spoke in perplexity.

Meanwhile, Dr Lazer scurried down the corridor in the direction of Sir Hollow Eyes. He arrived at the dilemma and spotted Lord Horror Hill comforting him. Thankful, he realised that Sir Hollow Eyes was slowly recovering.

Dr Lazer then explained to the Lord that Sir Hollow Eyes had been the victim of an electric shock and how he hit his head when he was flung across the room. After telling the two Horror Hillians to be more careful around the house and realising that this was going to be a long day, Lord Horror Hill ordered Dr Lazer to finish preparing for the meal and went with Sir Hollow Eyes to the med bay.
