Chapter XXIII - Echoes of Madness
"Cell one hundred and one. Excellent," Lord Horror Hill wheeled the hospital bed into the cell. Electro Von Poison was able to walk around in his cell, go to the toilet, and sleep in the hospital bed.
Lord Horror Hill had changed. He had always desired to cleanse his soul and let out his dark side - which was menacing and violent. Enough had encouraged him to change from the placid Lord the Horror Hillians once knew, to the fierce tyrant that lay dormant within him. Electro had committed the most villainous crime in Horror Hill, and in Lord Horror Hill's new, harsh view, it was enough to warrant torture. Lord Horror Hill had hired torturers and was weirdly excited about his new approach to life.

The cell was grimy and barren with moss growing on the walls and weeds spouting out from the slimy bricks that made up the wall. The solitary bed was in the centre of the cell with a toilet opposite. Electro was on the end of the row of cells with bars separating him and the criminals next to him.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Horror Hillians were going to bed - the subject of Dr Lazer and Butler Burns lingering in their minds. Viscount Phantom hadn't really liked Dr Lazer nor Butler Burns but still felt that Horror Hill had been missing key parts in their community. Sir Hollow Eyes, however, was mortified and balled about it all night; tears streamed down his eyes. Lord Horror Hill had told them all Dr Lazer's theory and how it was true - that it was Electro who had swapped the antidote for Butler Burns with poison - and they were not at all surprised. The Lord was deeply guilty that he hadn't originally believed Dr Lazer and his conspiracies; had he done, everything would have been a whole lot different. Lord Horror Hill thought about the scenario - Horror Hill was turning into a corrupt mess: all these murders and now he felt the only option was taking this new approach.
After a few hours, Electro wasn't finding it too bad. Though he hadn't dared to talk or make eye contact with the man in the cell next to him: he had a long, knotted beard as white as a pearl, though speckled with grime. A long nose bulged out from his wrinkled skin, and the ears were distorted, folded, scarred bits of skin. Electro finally gained the courage to look at the man. After making eye contact with the man, the man's eyes jutted out of their sockets. He then began to shake his head vigorously forwards and backwards. It was obvious the man had a severe mental illness, and Electro assumed he had been there for years. The man continued to shake his head and suddenly dropped to the floor. Swallowing a gulp of fear, a wave of terror flew over his head - expressed as a cold chill in the room... was he staring at what he, too, was going to become?
