A Night of Regret: Zephirion, Caelum & Valerion Drink Their Sorrows Away

The great and mighty Zephirion, the Black Dragon, ruler of the world, feared by all, sat in his grand hall… drowning his misery in a goblet of the strongest dragonfire wine.

Across from him, his two equally powerful dragon brothers, Caelum and Valerion, sat in utter silence, mirroring his actions—drinking like their lives depended on it.

Caelum, staring at his goblet: "So, let’s summarize… Not only did you marry a human… Not only did you, the great Zephirion, father a child… But said child is…" he inhaled deeply "an arrogant brat who only acts like an innocent little angel in front of his mother?"

Zephirion groaned, rubbing his temples. "Yes."

Valerion, blinking slowly: "A newborn… A child who was just born five minutes ago… has already smirked at you like he owns the entire kingdom?"

Zephirion chugged his wine.

Caelum, staring at him in disbelief: "He—he pointed at you and said ‘Bah!’ Like some kind of insult?"

Zephirion slammed the goblet on the table. "YES."

A long silence.

Then, Valerion burst out laughing.

Caelum, holding back his laughter: "This is hilarious."

Valerion, wheezing: "Your own son—a baby—looked at you like you were beneath him! Oh, this is karma! This is justice!"

Zephirion, gritting his teeth: "I should’ve let him cry."

Caelum, smirking: "Oh no, no, no. That would’ve been a mistake. Because the moment Aeris saw you holding him, he became all sweet and innocent."

Valerion, grinning: "She even thought he smiled at you three, didn’t she?"

Zephirion, dead inside: "Yes."

Caelum shook his head. "You realize what this means, right?"

Zephirion glared at him. "What?"

Caelum leaned forward, grinning like a madman. "You lost. To a baby."

Valerion smirked. "Your own baby."

Zephirion grabbed the wine bottle and drank straight from it.

Caelum and Valerion exchanged glances before raising their goblets.

Caelum: "To the real ruler of the Black Dragon’s castle."

Valerion: "To our mighty nephew, Lord Lorien, the Arrogant Prince."

Zephirion growled, but he didn’t argue.

Instead, he just drank more.
