The new semester starts on the 9th, so this might be the last update for about a week or so but I'll definitely be trying my hardest to update this weekend since it's a long weekend.
Theodore III
I pulled up to my crib and was shocked to see a car parked outside. Nobody should be here since Jaz was gone this morning and nobody's coming here to see me except for Donny and this isn't his car. He wouldn't be riding around in an Escalade. I pulled up in the driveway and turned around to Princess, who was really paying the car no attention.
"Beautiful," I called out, getting her attention. "Do me a favor and sit in the car for a few minutes while I do something. Can you do that for me?"
"Yeah."
"A'ight, just sit tight."
I climbed out of my car and pulled my glock out with me just in case this was Banga and his crew. Goldie told me what went down the other day and I was pissed off. I'm glad I sent Trent over to help but I'm mad at him for not handling a little nigga like Banga and his friends. And if he wasn't going to handle Banga, then he should've kidnapped him and bought him to me so I could end his life. Now, I got this nigga freely walking around the city.
I approached the back of the car and looked through the back and didn't see anybody in the car. I scrunched my face as I looked at the license plate. It was a Georgia license plate. Who the hell could this be? I came around the side of the car and peaked inside and didn't see anybody. Whoever it is, is in my house so Jaz must know them. I sucked my teeth before locking my glock and stuffing it into my pants. Who the hell she got up in my crib? I told her ass don't be inviting niggas over. I moved out of the condo because I don't want people knowing where I lay my head. I didn't move to be in the same predicament.
I pulled the back door of my Bentley Continental GT open and Princess climbed out. "Who's car is that Daddy?" she asked as we walked up to the house.
I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know."
"Is it Auntie Jazmine's boyfriend?" she giggled but I just smacked my lips.
"Ion know. Ain't no boys supposed to be in my house," I told her.
I helped Princess up the steps before I followed behind her so I could unlock the door. As soon as I opened the door, I could hear talking and laughing coming from the living room but the voices didn't sound familiar. I gripped on to Princess' hand tighter as we walked through the house to the living room and I was shocked to see Jazmine's parents sitting on the couch with her.
Heeeeeeeeeeell nah. I don't feel like dealing with her thirsty ass Mama or her crazy ass Daddy today. I got shit to do and I don't feel like keeping shit on the low. After Mocha disrespected my baby girl, I've been heated and seeing Jazmine's parents here haven't made my mood any better. If anything, it pissed me off even more because now I gotta keep my mouth shut since they like to throw our kind behind bars.
"Theodore, is that you?" Mrs. Hart beamed as soon as she saw me.
I slightly smiled, still standing in the door way with Princess right beside me. "Hey Mrs. Hart," I smiled at her before I turned to her husband. "Mr. Hart. How are you all doing?"
"Wait, so it's true. You live here with Jazmine?" Mrs. Hart asked, completely disregarding my question.
"Uhm yeah."
"And who's this beautiful little girl? Is this Princess?"
"Yeah, this is my daughter Princess."
Mrs. Hart walked up to me and stood over Princess before she stuck her hand out. "Hi Princess. I'm Aunt Lisa."
Princess smiled as she shook Mrs. Hart's hand. "Hi."
"Why aren't you in school young lady? It is a school day, isn't it?"
"It's a long story," I told her, giving few details. She doesn't need to know why my daughter isn't in school. "What are you guys doing here?"
"Well, we came in town to see this whore since my wife wanted to see her," Mr. Hart finally spoke up.
Jazmine sighed. "Can you not talk like that? I understand you don't like me but there is a child in the room and you need to be respectful."
"Why should I respect you whore?"
"Because this is my house and if you aren't gonna respect her, you're gonna respect my house and you're damn sure gonna respect my daughter," I told him. I really can't stand the way he talks to Jaz. He's so demeaning. I don't know how Jaz puts up with it but he doesn't have to respect her if he doesn't want to but not another mother fucker is gonna disrespect my daughter today. I'd hate to have to off Mr. Hart the way I'm gonna do Mocha.
Mr. Hart stood up as if he was 'bout it. "Who the hell are you talking to, boy?"
"David, please sit down darling. This is Theodore's house. You don't have to be so disrespectful."
"Shut up, Lisa! I'm so damn sick of you sticking up for these bastards!" Mr. Hart yelled, making Princess hug on to my arm tighter. Mr. Hart turned to me. "And you, you fucking hoodlum, you aren't fooling anybody. I know you're selling drugs and you better be glad I don't lock your ghetto ass up."
"Where you get that theory from old man?"
"It's obvious. What kid your age is riding around in a Bentley?"
"A kid that saves up for what he wants. I do have my own means of income and all three of my clubs are all around the city bringing in a lot of money every night. And I don't know if you've forgotten but you're not the only person with some money around here. I was raised in the same neighborhood your daughter was raised in so if I'm ghetto then so are you, your daughter and your entire family. I come from money Mr. Hart, which is a lot more than your entire family has so don't disrespect me."
"Will you just leave him alone Daddy?" Jazmine asked. "He hasn't done anything to you."
"Seriously David. Just leave him alone."
"Fuck him!" Her Dad yelled. "Jazmine, you're only sticking up for him because you're laid up in this filthy ass house with him sucking his dick and Lisa, your old ass just wants to suck his dick. The both of you bitches have lost your minds. This is a drug dealer. He comes from a family of drugs dealers."
I couldn't help but laugh. I can't believe he has this entire theory about the shit going on around here and it's not even true. "Look Mr. Hart, I'm trying to be nice to you since you're Jazmine's Dad, but I suggest you stop running your mouth like your wife and daughter are telling you to do. I'm not the nigga to fuck with."
"Yeah because you're a drug dealer!"
I shook my head. Ignorance at it's finest. I bent down to Princess, who was so lost and confused. "Why don't you go upstairs and change out of your clothes so I can take you out? A'ight?"
Princess nodded her head. "Are you sure? I don't wanna leave you down here with him."
I smirked. "I'm not scared. Remember what I told you about people you don't like? If you ignore ignorance long enough, it goes away. He'll be gone soon baby girl." Princess took my words as confirmation to run upstairs and she bolted up the steps. "Mr. Hart, be glad my daughter is here or I would've whooped your ass in front of your wife and daughter but I suggest you get your old ass outta my house."
"Make me mother fucker. Jazmine lives in this house too and she let me in."
"I don't give a damn about what Jaz let you do. I'm telling you to get the fuck outta the house I paid for," I said as I walked up on him.
I didn't want to fight this old nigga. I'd been in enough fights the past few days and I needed to rest but he just kept testing me. It's like he wanted me to put my hands on him but I knew better than to do that to him. He'd lock me up for the rest of my life but I still wasn't gonna be a pussy. I had plenty of nigga to get me off. I just gotta go about this the right way. If he puts his hands on me first then I can yell self-defense but that's only if my life is in danger.
Mr. Hart smirked as he looked me in my eyes. "So you gon' run up on me like you gon' do something to me boy?" he asked as he pushed me back with his shoulder.
Mr. Hart knows the rules. He was a bitch ass nigga because I knew what he was doing but I wasn't a dumb ass. I knew he was just pumping me up to fight him and put my hands on him first. That's why he only pushed me with his shoulder instead of getting me out of his face with his hands.
Even though he pushed me, I kept my stance and pushed him back against the couch with my shoulder. "You better get'cho fuckin' hands off of me Mr. Hart. I'm not playing with you."
Jaz jumped in between us as her Dad stood back up. "Theodore, please don't do this."
"Get out of the way whore."
Jazmine's Dad grabbed her and threw her across the living room and that's when I put my hands on him. He wasn't gonna put his hands on Jaz and push her around like she doesn't mean shit. He might be able to get away with that since Mrs. Hart let's the shit go down but he wasn't getting away with it since he was in my house. I swung my arm back and socked him right in the jaw, making him fall back on my couch.
This was self-defense. As soon as he put his hands on Jaz, it became self-defense so he should've been expecting me to put my hands on him. All I'm tryna do is protect my friend and that's what I plan on telling the police since he'll be the first person calling the police since he got his ass beat.
I backed up, allowing her Dad to get off of the couch but it didn't look like he was getting back up. I laughed. "I ain't even hit you that hard nigga. Get'cho ass up," I taunted him.
Mr. Hart held on to his chest as he panted. "I-I can't breath," he groaned before he rolled off the couch.
"David!" Mrs. Hard shrieked as soon as his big ass hit the floor.
I quickly backed up as Jazmine's Mom rushed over to him. Damn. I know I socked him in the jaw but I didn't think I'd sock him into a heart attack. I continued backing up until my back hit the wall but that's when I noticed Jazmine watching from the other side of the living room but the look on her face told me she didn't care about anything going on.
My eyes widened a little when I saw Mr. Hart grab Mrs. Hart by the neck and pull her down to him. "Call an ambulance idiot!" he yelled as he wheezed for air.
I shook my head as I watched Mrs. Hart pull out her phone and call 9-1-1. Shit. If I was her, I would've left his ass laying up here until he stopped breathing. I don't know how she's been married to him all of these years. Mrs. Hart is a character, don't get me wrong, but Mr. Hart is just plain evil and conniving. He just threw his daughter across the living room like she's a fucking rag doll. I would never put my hands on Princess the way he does Jazmine. Now, there's nothing wrong with disciplining your kids but he just takes it overboard.
The ambulance was here within five minutes and Jaz stood to the side beside me as we watched the paramedics put her Dad on a gurney and hook him up to a breathing machine. Mrs. Hart had tears in her eyes as she watched them push him out of the house but it wasn't long before he snatched the mask off of his face.
Mr. Hart coughed, trying to catch his breath. "I'mma fu-fuck you up next time I see you!"
I smirked. "How about you not have a heart attack right before you try to fight me?"
"Stop," Jazmine told me. "Just, please, stop."
Mrs. Hart rushed behind the paramedics as they wheeled him out of the house but I followed them outside, only to see some of my neighbors standing on their porches watching everything unfold. Damn. I don't need this kind of attention. I moved to this neighborhood to keep a low profile, but I see I'm not gonna be able to do that.
I looked to my side and saw Donny's car parked right behind mine in the driveway. Donny was riding in his old Monte Carlo hooptie because he knew some shit was about to go down today once we got Mocha. He was leaned up against his car as he watched the ambulance pull off with Mr. Hart. Mrs. Hart drove the Escalade and followed behind the ambulance. I turned to Jazmine.
"Thank you for standing up for me."
"Don't let that nigga put his hands on you Jazmine. He's a bitch for doing that to you 'cause he knows you won't hit him back."
Jazmine's Dad is a bitch for putting his hands on her. He hits her and pushes her around because he knows Jaz has too much respect for him as her father to ever strike him. He's a bully and as strong as Jazmine is, she'd never disrespect her parents the way they've disrespected her over the years.
"I know and I apologize about them just coming. They just popped up on Friday and said they'd be back, then I got a call from them today and they said they were outside. I wanted to tell you about them popping up or warn you that they were here but we weren't talking so I didn't say anything and I should have."
"You good, just don't bring your crazy ass father around here again unless he wants to die."
She sighed. "I understand. Can we talk, please?"
I looked back at Donny, who was just watching us since he was waiting on me. I turned back to Jazmine. "I got some shit to handle right now with Donny. Can you watch Princess while I'm gone and I swear I'll come back and talk to you? And can you make sure Princess gets dressed and gets something to eat too? I wanna take her out when I get back."
Jazmine sighed. "Yeah, of course."
"And make sure you get ready too. You coming with us?" I smiled, making her smile.
See, Jazmine has a big heart and she wears her heart on her sleeve. Everybody thinks she's a bad person because she lashes out when she's upset and acts a damn fool but Jazmine's really nice and she has a big heart. I know she shouldn't have gave Cashmere head but Cashmere was Lindsey's boyfriend and he should've been loyal to my sister. And shit, I can't stay mad at Jazmine for too long. She's my best friend. We have our ups and downs but we always come back to each other. I just hope she's finally over me and stops trying to push the two of us ever being together.
"Yeah, I'll come."
"Cool. I'll be back in a hour."
I leaned over and hugged Jazmine before I walked off of the porch and linked up with Donny. He's just like Jaz, which is why the two of them can never get along or stay together for too long. They both have big hearts and wear their hearts on their sleeves but they use their tough exterior to deflect them having big hearts. It's a defense mechanism so they don't get hurt, but me, I hurt them and I always feel like shit afterwards. I know how to get under their skin.
Donny and I gave each other dap before we got in his car and he backed out of my driveway.
"You know, I ain't mean to put my hands on you," I explained. "I was pissed off and I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you. And I shouldn't have aired your business the way I did man, I was wrong. And you know I need you man. Who else gon' help me make money and keep these streets on lock?"
Donny chuckled. "I know I bruised your little ego man but you gotta control your anger and that's all I got to say to you. And I'm still pissed you kicked me off the trip. I was looking forward to chillin' on a yacht."
I laughed. "I'll make it up to you nigga but you ain't miss out on nothing aside from me and Milan getting caught."
His eyes widened. "Damn and you ain't even call to tell me what happened," he said as he looked me up and down. "It don't look like you got your ass beat."
"That's because ma dukes caught her giving me head. Mama knocked Milan unconscious. Mama slammed her face into the counter top."
Donny laughed. "Damn. I ain't know Victoria had it like that. Milan still alive?"
"Yeah but I haven't talked to her."
"You should. You gotta nip that situation in the bud before you move on 'cause you gotta move on. Yo Pops know?"
I shook my head. "Hell no and Mama said it's up to me to tell him."
"When you gon' tell him?"
I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't even know but I wanna talk to Milan before I tell my Pops but I got something more important to do right. We gotta catch this bitch Mocha."
Donny scrunched up his face. "Mocha? The stripper from the club? I thought you were done fucking that broad."
"I am but she's Princess' teacher."
"Damn."
"I've been tryna stay cordial with the broad all school year but she took shit too far today when she disrespected Princess. She wouldn't let my baby girl come into class today because I bought her late. She slammed the door in Princess' face and had her crying so now it's time for that bitch to go. I tried giving her the benefit of the doubt when she tried to stop being a hoe by going to school. I even had a little bit of respect for her when she stopped stripping and got her shit together but she crossed the line today. That bitch needs to die."
"You hitting that lick today?"
"Partially. I ain't even dressed right to be killing a bitch but I want her captured and I want you to take her back to the cut and leave her ass tied up until I get there tonight."
"A'ight, cool. You know I'm down for whatever. Where's the at?"
"She should be at Princess' school but it's lunch time so she might not be there."
Donny nodded his head as he turned down a street and pressed the gas. I wanted to get to this school and get Mocha before Princess realized I was gone. Nobody was gonna disrespect my daughter and that's exactly why Mr. Hart got his shit socked in and that's why Mocha's gonna be my next example of not to fuck with me.
"You got the shit?" I asked.
"Yeah, it's in the glove compartment."
I pulled the glove compartment open and saw the masks inside and pulled them out as well as the glock I always carried on me. Donny pulled up to the school within a few minutes before he pulled into the parking lot. The lot was kind of empty since most of the teachers were on their lunch break but that's all right. We'd sit up here and wait until Mocha showed her nasty ass up.
"Wait, ain't that the bitch right there?" he pointed to Mocha, who was getting bags out of the back of her car.
"Hell yeah." I pulled the mask over my face, prepared to get out of the car.
"Damn. I almost ain't recognize the bitch with her clothes on," he laughed as he rolled around the parking lot so I could hop out and grab this bitch. "I'mma have the trunk open so you can toss her up in there. You ready?"
I unlocked my gun and nodded my head. "Yeah."
Adonis came up behind Mocha as she continued digging around in the backseat of her car and that's when I hopped out. I ran up behind her and pushed my gun into the back of her head. "Get'cho ass up bitch and you better not scream," I warned her, causing her to jump.
She quickly turned around with fear in her eyes. She dropped her bags on the ground and did what I said. "Please don't hurt me," she begged. "I didn't do anything. Please, just let me go."
"Shut the fuck up!"
Images flashed in my mind of her closing the door in Princess' face and Princess crying crossed my mind the more I looked at her. I can't stand this bitch and her days are over. She fucked with the wrong niggas' daughter today. I pushed her back into her car and choked the life out of this crazy bitch.
She gagged and clawed at my hands the longer I choked her but seeing the fear in her eyes is what made me continue. I see she ain't all big and bad now that she's not slamming doors in my daughter's face. Mocha's skin faded from red to purple and I knew she was about to die soon so I quickly removed my hands from around her neck. I don't want this bitch to die just yet. I want her to suffer; choking her would mean she got off the hook. I smacked her in the head with the butt of my gun, knocking her out immediately.
I picked Mocha up by her neck and drug her filthy ass to the back of Donny's car. I picked her legs up and tossed her into the trunk of his car, closed it and hopped up in the car with Donny just before he pulled off from the school. But I made sure to call up my guys to dispose of her car and to take out the cameras around here.
This bitch is gonna die tonight.
Milan
Damn.
Is that really what Victoria did to my face? I knew she'd be pissed to find out I was sleeping with her son but I didn't think she''d fuck my face up this badly and knock me out. I don't know how much time went by between getting knocked out and waking up at the hospital. When I woke up, I expected somebody to be by my bedside but I was alone and the doctor said nobody had come to visit me. I even had to check myself out of the hospital.
My own fucking husband didn't make sure I was all right and he still hasn't. I haven't seen him since the day we first got to the yacht and that was three days ago. He hasn't called me, nor has he returned any of my phone calls. He hasn't even come home so I've been in the house by myself for more than 24 hours now without a clue as to where my husband could possibly be. But as far as I know, he's probably done with me. I'm more than sure Victoria told Teddy about me sleeping with Theodore but I don't understand why he isn't at home or why he hasn't confronted me or even kicked me out of the house yet.
I wonder what Victoria said to him to keep him away from me for so long.
The same goes for Theodore, though. I've reached out to him but he hasn't returned any of my calls yet. I know he's probably upset about how everything went down Friday but we still need to talk about what happened and our relationship. I don't know what he wants but part of me wants to keep seeing him. I know it's wrong and I know I just got my face bashed in because of it but I do have feelings for Theodore and I can't just walk away from him all because of one bad incident. And it's not like Victoria can stop us. She doesn't even live in Georgia; she's all the way across the country in California so she can't possibly stop the two of us from seeing each other. The only people that can stop our relationship from flourishing is me and Theodore, and I don't see that happening any time soon.
I leaned into the mirror, getting a better look at my face. I had to get stitches in my forehead since Victoria thought it was a good idea to smash my head into the counter. But besides my forehead, I had a broken nose so I'd be sporting this cast for the next four weeks until it healed and I don't plan on going out of the house. I don't feel like explaining to people why my nose is broken. It's embarrassing, honestly. She could've talked to me like a grown woman instead of putting her hands on me like an animal. Now I see what Teddy means when he told me not to get her mad. I didn't think she'd put her hands on me the way she did, but I'll be prepared for her the next time I see her. She's not going to take advantage of me.
I frowned as I looked at the large, white cast on my nose. This shit is so embarrassing. I wanted to pull it off and save myself the embarrassment but I knew my nose wouldn't heal correctly if I did. But I still wanted to see what my nose looked like under the cast. I deserve to know how badly she messed up my face because I want to see if I'll be able to recover from this.
I took a deep breath as I tried lifting the cast back but it hurt like hell. "Shit," I winced. I touched my nose again and jumped back because of the pain. Damn. What the hell did this bitch do to my nose? Just as I was about to rip this cast off of my nose, the doorbell rang.
I sighed as I walked out of my bedroom and made my way down the steps. I wonder who's at the door because we normally don't get guests. As soon as my feet hit the landing of the steps, the person rang the doorbell again, irritating me.
"Hold on!" I angrily yelled as I walked up to the door.
I frowned when I saw who was standing on the other side of the door. I could see Victoria right through the glass before I even got up to the door. I shouldn't even open the door for this broad since she wants to keep ringing my door bell like she doesn't see me standing here.
"Open the door!" she yelled.
Damn. I wasn't expecting to see her this soon or else I would've prepared myself to fight her to get my revenge on her.
"What do you want?" I asked.
Victoria sighed as she leaned up against the closed door. "I'm not going to put my hands on you. I want to come over here to talk to you woman to woman."
I folded my arms. I don't believe her. "Why should I believe you?"
"I already put my hands on you once, and even though I want to punch you in the face, I'm not going to because it won't solve anything. Me and you need to sit down and have a conversation," she replied. "We don't need to just talk about what happened on the boat but we need to talk about everything because the two of us deserve an explanation as women."
I began unlocking the door as I sighed. Even though I was completely against letting her into my home, I did want to talk to her about everything that's gone down since we've never talked to each other. We're cordial to each other, but for the most part, we stay out of each other's way but it's not hard to do since she doesn't live here. Victoria and I just don't have a relationship, and based on what happened this weekend, I don't think we ever will.
Victoria stepped into my home wearing an all black Herve Leger v-neck dress that stopped right above her knees, gold Giuseppe Zanotti heeled sandals and she was sporting a large Gucci tote. Aside from what she was wearing, it looked like she just got her hair done. Her bone straight hair hung down her back, stopping right above her ass so I knew it wasn't all hers and it looked like she just got her makeup done too. Did she seriously come over here all dressed up just to talk to me? I looked down at my sweatpants and t-shirt and frowned. If I had known she'd be coming over dressed up, I would've got dressed up too since she thinks this is a fashion show.
"It's Gucci," she smirked, making me look away from her bag. "I saw you looking."
"I know it's Gucci. I have one just like it. Teddy bought it for me."
"Oh, I have my own money. I bought it on my own," she snickered as she looked around my home. "Can I sit down somewhere or are we just going to stand here?"
I sighed and just walked away from her, hoping she'd get the hint to follow me to the living room. I flipped on lights as we walked through the empty house. Since I got back from the hospital yesterday, I'd been upstairs in my room. I haven't even been downstairs to the kitchen because I haven't been eating anything. I just didn't have an appetite. I flipped on the lights in the living room.
I stepped to the side and let Victoria walk inside since she was trailing behind me, more than likely judging everything in my home but I don't know why. This house looks better than the house she lived in when she and Teddy were together. She must be jealous. She stepped into the living room but stopped when she saw the large picture of Teddy and I from our wedding hanging above the mantle. I smirked, looking at her surprised facial expression. I knew that picture would humble her ass out some.
"It's a picture from our wedding," I mocked her from earlier, causing her to turn to me. "I saw you looking."
Victoria rolled her eyes as she walked across the living room to sit on the couch, but she made sure to dust the couch off, as if it was dirty, before sitting right on the edge. If she moved an inch she'd fall off of the couch but I just shrugged my shoulders and sat on the opposite end of the couch.
"Do you want something to eat or dr--"
"Stop the act Milan," Victoria cut me off as she turned to me. "I didn't come over here to giggle and keke with you over tea and scones. I came here to talk to you about what's going on in my family and the role you're playing."
"Alright, well what's going on?"
"I think you know what's going on. I'm not making excuses for my son because the two of you are wrong for sleeping together, but I blame you more because you're older and you're supposed to be more mature than him. I don't know who came on to who, and I honestly don't care, you should've been the one to stop it from going any further than it did. You're supposed to be married to Teddy, but you're sleeping with his son. Why is that?"
"Theodore and I are in love. We told you this on the yacht but you weren't listening to us. We're just in a bad situation right now but if I could change things, I would."
"Are you even sorry for what you've done?"
Was I sorry? "No."
Victoria's eyes widened. "Oh, really? You don't feel a type of way about sleeping with your husband's son? I mean, based on your wedding picture," she commented as she glanced up at the picture of Teddy and I, "I would've expected you to be in love with Teddy and be apologetic about creeping behind his back."
"I would be apologetic about it but Teddy has done me so wrong over the years. You don't even know what he's put me through and I'm doing this because he's done me wrong but you can't question our marriage or my love for him. I love Teddy with everything in me."
"I understand everything you're going through with Teddy and you don't even know the half of it. You've been in a real relationship with him for all of five years, versus our relationship. Teddy's gotten better over the years but you don't even know the true Teddy and what he's capable of. You have a good man that's treating you right."
"So, leaving me for days on end is a good husband?"
"Are you dense or something? Teddy isn't just leaving you to be gone. He's leaving because he's handling business, which pays for this big mansion, that wedding picture above the mantle and that Gucci bag you claim he got you. I'm sure he wouldn't be gone if he didn't have to but you can't fault Teddy for his career keeping him busy."
"I don't fault his career. I fault you."
"Me?" Victoria asked, confused. "I don't know what Teddy's been telling you or what anybody's been telling you but Teddy and I are just friends and I'm eng--"
"Engaged," I finished for her since she's always going around flaunting her ring and telling everyone how happy she is with her new boyfriend. "Yeah, I know you're engaged. How could I forget? You're constantly reminding us but I don't think Teddy cares about you being engaged. I'm more than sure you two are still messing around."
"Look, sweetie, I'm over 50 years old. I don't 'mess around' anymore because I'm too damn old to still be messing around with anyone at my age. I've told you before, and I'll tell you again since you don't seem to understand. I don't want Teddy anymore because if I did, I could take him away from you. I can have Teddy when ever I want to, and when I say I want him, he'll drop you like you don't mean anything and come back to me. He'll forget about you and make it seem like you never existed. I've done it before, and I'll do it again if you want to test me little girl. But besides me telling Teddy to drop you, I could just drop some knowledge on him about you cheating on him and he'll leave your ass."
I scoffed. "What's stopping you then?"
"My son."
"Huh?"
"I love my children a whole lot more than I love their father and I'll be damned if my son gets caught up in this bullshit. I know he's already in it and playing a major role but I don't want my son getting hurt on account of your actions as well. None of this shit was going on until you came into the picture."
"I've always been in the picture."
"Yeah, because you're a homewrecker."
"I didn't know about your fami--"
"Stop lying bitch," Victoria spat. "I'm so fucking sick of hearing you say that lie. You're a fucking liar because everybody knew Teddy had a family and a wife. Teddy hasn't played ball in years but he's always been around cameras and so has my family. Everybody knows Teddy has children and a wife, but I guess that news just mistakenly forgot to be told to you, huh? And even after you found out he had a family, you still stuck around."
"Because I was in love with you."
"The same way you're in love with my son, right?" she sarcastically laughed. "Stop lying Milan. You didn't love Teddy, you only loved what he could do for you and his dumb ass fell for your game. He fell for you and gave you everything you wanted because you were some new pussy. How could you possibly be in love with a man that barely hung out with you? Teddy was in bed with me every single night unless he was out of town on business, which was rare. He rarely went places without me so when did this relationship ever even occur?"
I frowned. Who is she to confront me about her husbands wrongdoings? It's not my fault he cheated on her and left her for me because she's crazy. If she didn't act like such a lunatic then Teddy would actually want her.
It's actually none of your business how our relationship began, but just know I'm the one he's with now and who he'll forever be with," I smirked. "And I hope you get a good look at our wedding picture above you because you'll be seeing it a lot more sweetie."
Victoria looked above her at our picture before she laughed. "You're proud of a marriage that was built on lies and distrust? You were sleeping with my son well before you two got married and you were lying about it. Teddy lied to you about being married, and you still went on and married him. You're a damn fool."
"No, you are for staying with a man that constantly did you wrong."
"Like you?" she asked, making me frown.
Why must she have a slick comeback for everything I say? Why can't she just chuck her marriage to Teddy up as an L and move on? Instead, she's questioning me about my marriage when it has nothing to do with her.
"Why do you care so much Victoria? You don't care about him and you don't want to get back with him, as you said, so why do you care so much about what happens in my relationship with my husband? Teddy and I's relationship was built on lies but we moved past that. Why can't you just focus on your relationship?"
Victoria laughed as she shook her head. "Look, I didn't come over here to insult you Milan. I came over here to talk to you woman to child but I see you aren't woman enough to speak to me with some sense. But I forgot. You're just a child being manipulated by my ex, and I'll continue to let it happen. I wanted to warn you about him and help you because I've been in your shoes but I don't even care what becomes of you and your relationship," she said as she stood up. "Have you seen Teddy recently?"
"No," I frowned.
Victoria smirked as she stood in front of me. "Oh, I have. He's been staying with me in my hotel for the past few days, just to let you know. And just to make sure we're clear little girl, stop seeing my son or I won't mind fucking up your face the same way I did your nose. Teddy might not know now but keeping picking at me and seeing my son and I'll beat your ass before Teddy even gets a chance to. And just to make sure you won't be fucking with my son anymore, you'll be seeing more of me."
"Why?"
"It looks like I'll be in town a little bit longer than I expected and I'll be staying here with you and Teddy so make space in here for me bitch," she said as she mushed me in the head, right where I got the stitches.
"Ow! You dumb ass bitch!" I yelled, pushing her away from me. Who the hell was Teddy to be spending time with this broad and then move her into our home without consulting me first? "Get your fucking hands off of me Victoria."
"You know what, I am a bitch and I'm the bitch you need to watch out for. Don't test me whore. I'll make your life a living hell, especially with me staying here now," she said as her phone began ringing. She pulled her phone out of her fake Gucci bag and smiled before putting it up to her ear. "Hey Teddy."
I frowned. So she really was in contact with my husband.
"Yeah, I'm sitting here with Milan right now," she said as she looked me up and down like she was disgusted. "No, it doesn't look like she's bathed in days. I think you should come over and check up on her. It looks like she's been losing your mind since you've been gone."
"Come back home baby!" I yelled to Teddy but Victoria just mushed me in the head again. "Don't put your fuckin' hands on me Victoria!" I yelled loud enough for Teddy to hear. Since this bitch thinks she has the upper hand on me, it won't be so nice when Teddy finds out she's the reason my face is all busted up.
"Yeah, see, I told you she's losing her mind. She really must've hit her head hard when she fell up the steps on the boat," she said as she pushed me away again. "Oh, you'll be over after dinner?...I think she'll like that, but where are you staying tonight?...Yeah, of course you can stay another night with me. You know I love your company Teddy...Alright, I'll meet you at the restaurant. Okay, I love you too."
My chest heaved up and down as I watched her toss her phone back into her bag. "Teddy says hi," she smirked.
"You're going to dinner with my husband?"
Victoria smiled as she twirled around for me. "Of course. We've gone to dinner together every night since I've been out here."
"Don't you have a husband?"
"My fiancee is back in California handling business. See, unlike you Milan, I know my fiancee has a career and won't always be able to be around me but your husband sure is around me every night," she laughed. "But look, I won't hold you. I'll let you get back to doing whatever it is Milan does, but if Teddy asks, you fell up the steps on the yacht. That's how you got so fucked up. I didn't tell him about you and Theodore. You can thank me later whore."
"So why hasn't he been coming home then?" I followed her out of the living room since I wasn't finished with this conversation.
Victoria twirled around, slapping me in the face with her hair. "I don't know, maybe it's because I'm in town but you should get used to this sweetie. Now that I'm around, you won't see your husband anymore or my son and I'm going to make sure of that. I hope you have fun being alone bitch," she said as she slammed my front door in my face.
Who the hell was she to just pop up at my house like she runs this place? This is my house, damn it! And Teddy is my husband, not hers anymore. Fuck her if she thinks she's going to get away bullying me. I snatched my keys out of the bowl by the door and walked out the house. If she thinks she's going to bully me, she has something coming for her. I hopped into my car and followed her out of my gate. Teddy will love to hear about her bullying me.
Lindsey
I had to pick Aubrey up for our date tonight. At first I was a little skeptical about having to pick him up but I knew he just got out of prison and relocated to Georgia, so I knew he wouldn't have a car this soon. So I just decided to pick him up because I really wasn't too comfortable about him picking me up. I decided to let Aubrey take me out because I'm curious about him but I'm still a little weary of him because of what happened in the past. I just hope he doesn't try any crazy shit tonight.
Aubrey made reservations for us at an Italian restaurant and I could've swore I saw Mama and Daddy here but maybe I'm just seeing things. Mama and Daddy wouldn't be caught dead together since they're seeing other people. Plus, I didn't even get a good look at the people since Aubrey and I were on the opposite side of the restaurant.
I looked up from my menu and saw Aubrey starring at me. I smiled. "What?"
"Nothing, just admiring you."
I looked back down at my menu since I knew I was blushing. "Why do you always do that?"
"Because you don't know how long I been waiting to have this moment with you Lindsey. I feel like I'm dreaming right now. You know big daddy been wanting you since I was a jit," he said, making me laugh.
"I thought you said you matured when you were in prison."
"Big daddy did mature but I still got a lot of growing to do. It's only so much growing I could do in prison but I did have to quickly become a man in there. All the reckless shit I was doing back in high school wasn't gonna cut it in prison."
"Is it really as bad as people say it is?"
"Yes and no. You gotta link up with the right people in there and luckily, I had a dope cell mate that took me under his wing and helped me mature in exchange for me being in his crew and helping him in school and putting money on his books once I got out. Him and his crew protected me from a lot of shit that went down but I still had to defend myself when I was alone and I had to get initiated."
"How'd you get initiated?"
"I got my ass beat on my first day by a nigga with a muffin. He kicked my ass Lindsey and I had to do it to prove my loyalty to Bruce and his crew. I've been in yard fights before, sometimes a nigga will just come up to you 'cause he don't like the way you looking at him and you gotta defend yourself. And since I was so young and good looking, some of the niggas tried to take advantage of me."
"Damn," I mumbled. "I don't mean to get in your business but did you let them?"
"Hell nah. Luckily, Bruce and our crew always stopped the shit from happening and after a year or so, niggas knew not to fuck with me because they'd have to face Bruce and his crew. Bruce was like the father I never had. He protected me, he taught me what to do and not to do while I was locked up. He taught me how to survive Lindsey, 'cause my little ass wasn't gon' make it outta there alive and he knew that. He knew those niggas were gonna tear my asshole to shreds if I wasn't protected so nobody touched my asshole," he laughed, even though I knew it traumatized him.
Aubrey is different. I figured he'd change but he's not the same as he was before he left. "Well I'm glad you didn't let anybody take advantage of you while you were locked up but what's up with all of these tattoos? You didn't have all of these before you left."
Aubrey sighed as he held out his hand, showing me the tattoo of the five dots he had between his thumb and pointer finger. "The one with the dots means I've done time in prison. The dot in the middle is supposed to be me, the prisoner, and the four dots around it are the prison walls." He held out his wrist so I could see the watch he had tattooed on his wrist, which I've been wondering what it meant since he came back. It was a watch tattooed and there was even a band tattooed to the watch. The face of the watch was cracked and it didn't have any hands. "And that one is kinda self-explanatory. It means I had a long sentence in prison. I got a cross on my chest too, for protection."
He then held his hands out and showed me the words "STAY" and "DOWN" across his knuckles. "I got these 'cause I'm always down for people, even when nobody has my back. I went to prison and didn't fold on any of my Day 1's, not even your brother and he was part of the reason why I was locked up in the first place. I stayed down, did my time and I ultimately came out a better person because on the rate I was going, I was gonna end up dead fucking with EJ and his crew."
I looked down at his arms, intrigued by all of his tattoos since he had a meaning behind each one. I reached out and grabbed his hands. "I hate the way things went down a few years ago Aubrey but I'm glad prison changed you for the better because I know how much good you have in your heart and I missed your presence. You always have such a positive vibe and I missed that because you always brightened my worst days. And I love all of your tattoos and how you have a meaning behind each one but what do the tear drops under your eye mean?"
Aubrey was just about to respond when we heard screaming from the other side of the restaurant. I quickly turned around and saw Milan standing over Mama and Daddy with an empty pitcher in her hands. I looked down at Mama and Daddy, who were both soaking wet.
Damn. What the hell happened?
