Tee Tee

"Come in!" I yelled to Nicole who was on the other side of my bedroom door.

Nicole was still living in the condo Theodore hooked her up with when we first came out to Atlanta and now my son and I are living here with her too. I guess Theodore stopped paying the rent, thinking we wouldn't be able to afford to stay here, but he's stupid not to think my Dad wouldn't leave us any money. His business is still running in California, so Nicole and I are still making money off of it. We're not broke. We just took advantage of Theodore paying the rent since he was gullible enough to pay for everything for Nicole.

Nicole walked into my room with a bowl of soup in her hands. She had a few scratches from the fight we had with that girl Theodore was with. Word around the city is that he wifed up some stripper named Goldie, and based on how hard that girl was riding for him the other night, I can only assume she's Goldie. Because, why else would she stand up for a nigga that she's not with? You wouldn't catch me fighting with bitches unless I have to defend my man.

And besides her defending him, she's his type. All the bitches he's been with, including me, all have some similarities. Based on what I saw the other night, she's submissive as hell and Theodore likes that so he can always be in control. I was submissive when I was with him and I let him take advantage of me until I came to my senses. That's why he and I were so close. I let him take advantage of me. Majesty let him take advantage of her, but the only one of us that didn't was Nicole and that's why the two of them are so volatile. She doesn't let him control her and that pisses him off.

And all of the girls he deals with are good until they get mixed up with him and his family. It's like, they turn out the good girls. I'm kind of different though since my Mom fucked me up but Majesty used to be good until she got involved with him. And it's so strange how she just disappeared and nobody's been able to find her body ever since. I know Theodore and his family made her disappear since they always kill off their problems.

I know Theodore wouldn't kill Nicole and I though. Nicole is his baby mama, so he wouldn't kill her and I'm basically family. My son is his cousin, so why would he kill me off? But he did kill off Willie, who was his cousin and the mother of my son, which really got me thinking. But that's only because Willie was always so negative and a threat. Theodore and I go back too far for him to want to kill me. We have too much history and too many ties for him to make me disappear. Theodore and his family can't touch us even if they wanted to.

"How are you feeling?" Nicole asked.

"Considering the circumstances, I'm all right," I replied.

I still can't believe Daniel shot me in the shoulder. He and I used to be so cool when he was growing up and he just turned his back on me as soon as Theodore dropped me. His whole family turned on me because of him and they don't even know the situation I was in. I know I shouldn't have tried to pin a baby on him but I was lost and confused back in high school and my Mom was controlling everything I was doing, even Willie was controlling me. Theodore was my only form of protection and he turned his back on me because I fucked up. I just wish I had gotten a chance to tell him what my Mother was doing to me before it got out that I was sleeping around. He still doesn't know the entire story of what I was going through during high school, but it's too late now. He doesn't care.

"You want something to eat?"

I shook my head. "No." I don't even have an appetite right now. Theodore had pissed me off too much.

"Alright," she mumbled as she sat on the edge of my bed with the bowl of soup still in our hands. "So what's our next move? Because that whole situation at the club was a failure. We didn't see Princess and we didn't even find Goldie."

I scrunched up my face. Nicole is dumber than I thought she was. "The girl we fought was Goldie."

"How you know that?"

"Because Goldie and Theodore are together and no normal employee would just fight two bitches over their boss, so she has to be Goldie. Only a girlfriend would fight some bitches over their man. And if you were paying attention, they announced her name when she danced on stage."

I rolled my eyes. If we came there to find Goldie, why wouldn't she be putting pieces together and paying attention while we were there? I could care less about who Theodore's seeing. I only went along with it because I don't want my niece around any stripper bitches, but Nicole is Princess' mother. She should've taken more of an initiative to find that bitch that Theodore's got around her daughter.

"I don't remember her."

"Well, she was like the second girl to perform. She had on a gold outfit," I rolled my eyes. "It's obvious she's with Theodore. All the security in the club were surrounding the stage during her performance and escorted her off of the stage when she was done. Theodore's clearly sprung off of that broad."

"Oh, I remember now," she mumbled. "Too bad we fucked up her face. She was cute."

"She looks basic as hell, like a typical stripper. She just didn't have the ass to be a normal stripper."

"Honestly, she kind of resembles you, just a little bit," Nicole laughed. "Y'all both light skin with dark hair and tattoos. Your ex has a type. You know, the bitch probably acts like you too."

"I doubt it. I'd never strip and Theodore couldn't replace me. I'm one of a kind."

"Sure," Nicole laughed. "One of a kind my ass. He jumped to me as soon as he got done with you."

"No, you were fucking my man while we were together."

"Only because you weren't doing it. You were too busy with your baby daddy. Why you acting like this? It's just Theodore, he's for everybody. He's everybody's man. Shit. He was talking to a bunch of girls all throughout high school when y'all were together. Don't feel special Tee Tee. You're just one of many."

What she was saying was pissing me off. I may not have been the best girlfriend but Theodore was always a good boyfriend until he got involved with Nicole. He changed when he got with her because he used to be sweet and innocent. He never cheated on me until she seduced him by getting on her knees and turned his young ass out. Theodore was always good. It's Nicole that made him change. "For your information, Theodore never messed around on me until you weaseled your way into our relationship. We were good until you got on your knees. If you want to be honest, you were for everybody in high school. Everybody had been with you and you turned Theodore out like you did with plenty of other guys."

Nicole scrunched up her face. "Why you still hung up on some high school shit?"

"Because you were a hoe in high school and I don't appreciate you demeaning the relationship Theodore and I had because you were never good enough to be with him, or anybody for that matter. You were the biggest slut that ever went to Fairview!"

Nicole had pissed me off and I was done listening to her down my relationship. She's still jealous over some high school shit. She's jealous she never got a chance with Theodore because she wasn't girlfriend material. She was just somebody to fuck until she got herself pregnant.

"I knew you still liked him," she said as she stood up. "And since you think I'm so much of a slut, kiss my ass and take your soup."

I tried dodging her toss but I couldn't. My shoulder was too fucked up so she was just able to throw the boiling hot soup all over my body. I screamed out in pain and tried to get up but the hot soup just dripped all over my body, making the pain even worse.

"I hope you like that soup, bitch," Nicole smirked. "And while you're in here fucked up, I'm leaving and I'm taking Dylan with me."

My eyes widened. "Don't touch my son," I growled.

"Too late. See, I planned on letting you come and stay with me and Cashmere. He didn't want you there because he knew your feelings for Theodore would get in the way but, as your sister, I wanted you to come with me but he was right. You're still hung up on Theodore so I'm leaving with your son. Good luck finding us slut."

Nicole blew me a kiss as she strutted out of my room. Even though I was in excruciating pain, I wasn't going to let her and Cashmere take my son. I don't even know how she got involved with Cashmere in the first place. It was supposed to be me and her but she got hung up on his ass and now she's replacing me. She can replace me and leave all she wants but I'm not going to let her take my son. I promised myself I wasn't going to let Dylan go down the same path as Nicole and I, and that's exactly where he's going to go if he's with Nicole and Cashmere.

I climbed out of my bed as fast as I could and limped over to my door. My entire body was burning and I knew blisters would be forming soon since the soup was so hot. And to top it off, my shoulder was still in pain from getting shot and I still had bruises from the fight. I was honestly fucked up but I needed to get my son. I snatched my bedroom door open and walked out to an empty apartment.

"What the hell?" I mumbled.

I know I've been in bed the past few days, but how did Nicole move everything out without me knowing? I went to every room in the apartment, even the bathrooms to check to see if she was just kidding about taking my son but she wasn't. He wasn't in the apartment. I raced over to the door and peaked my head out to see if she was in the hallway but she wasn't. She was far gone by now and so was my son.

Mya

Prince kept a blind fold over my eyes as he drove up a dirt road. I don't know where he's taking me but as soon as we left his warehouse, he made me cover my eyes and he hasn't said a word to me. Now that he's shown me another side of him, I'm a little skeptical about what he could be doing to me sine he isn't speaking and keeping me blindfolded. I trust him though, I'm just scared.

"Prince?" I called out. I couldn't see but I still turned to him and waited on him to respond but he didn't and that made my hear rate speed up even more. "Prince, answer me. Where are you taking me?" I sat back against my seat waiting on his response, but I didn't get one, so I sighed.

He was pissing me off not answering me. He claimed he had a surprise for me but I don't like surprises. Growing up, my Dad always claimed he had surprises for some of the people that worked for him. I thought surprises were good, until I heard screaming coming from the basement. I don't know what he did with them but they would never come out of the basement again but then Daddy would start up the fireplace. Eventually, I pieced things together and realized why they never came up from the basement. He'd kill them and I don't want something like that to happen to me.

My heart dropped to the pit of my stomach when I felt him come to a screeching stop. He didn't say anything as he got out of the car. I don't know if he expected me to move too, so I didn't. I just sat there waiting on something from him. Damn. What if he sets the car on fire with me in it? What if he bombs the car with me in it? Damn! What if he just shoots the car up while I'm in it? Shit. I'm not going to die today. He's got another thing coming if he thinks he's going to kill me.

I quickly began unbuckling my seat belt as fast as my shaky hands would move. I was still a little shaken up from seeing Prince just kill a guy right in front of me. I mean, I was raised in that world but I've never witnessed anything like that before and I'm not going to be another victim. I'll be damned if I get killed today! Just as I was about to remove the bandanna from over my eyes, my door opened up and I froze.

"Going somewhere?" he finally spoke up.

Goldie, don't bitch out, I told myself. I snatched the bandanna off of my face and scrunched up my face once I saw that we were in the middle of nowhere. We were far out of the city. There were no street lights, sidewalks or even people. All I saw around me was a dirt road, trees and plenty of space for Prince to make me disappear if need be. What the hell did I get myself into?

I looked over at Prince, who had a grin on his face, and that honestly made me nervous. Why else would he drag me out to the middle of nowhere if he didn't plan on making me disappear? Clearly, I knew too much for his liking. Damn. This makes me regret all of those years I didn't listen to Daddy when he told me I needed to learn how to protect and defend myself if something happens to me.

I took a deep breath as I turned to him. "Look little boy, I don't know why you dragged me off to the middle of nowhere but you need to take me back home or I'll leave by my damn self. I don't like being out here."

"Oh, really?" he chuckled.

I folded my arms across my chest. "Yes, really. Where are the keys? I'm gonna drive myself home."

He took a step back from the car and patted his pocket. "They're in here. If you wanna leave and completely forget about the surprise I have for you, then be my guest. But I'm not just gonna give you the keys to my BMW. You're gonna have to take them from me."

"Fine," I mumbled as I jumped out of the car.

I'm not even going to lie, I'm scared as hell and I probably shouldn't have jumped out of the car if I was trying to protect myself. The car was probably the safest place to be but I need to go home. I don't like being in the middle of nowhere because anything can happen to me and nobody will even hear me scream.

"Why you acting like this?" Prince chuckled as I put my set up. "You don't trust me or something now that you see the shit I do? You think I'mma kill you or something?"

Since he was talking, I tried to catch him off guard and sneak him to get the keys but I wasn't quick enough for him. I raced over to him and tried latching on to his pocket but he grabbed my arm, turned me around and put me in a choke hold like this was easy for him. If I didn't know any better, I'd say he was crazy to be doing this to a girl he claims he loves but he wasn't even applying pressure. So, I used that as my opportunity to break free of his grasp.

I slipped my head from in between his arm and tried reaching back for the keys but he was just too quick for me. He grabbed my head and pressed it up against his chest.

"Goldie, you know I love you, right?"

I tried pulling my head back but this time he was applying pressure and I couldn't break free. He had me trapped. "It doesn't seem like it,"I groaned, trying to push him off of me but it wasn't working. "You took me out to the middle of nowhere and now you won't let me go. If you just bought me out here to kill me then just get it over with and just do it. If you make it quick, I probably won't even scream."

Prince chuckled but still kept his firm grip on my head. "You're hilarious, you know that?" I didn't respond, I just frowned. "I wouldn't hurt you, unless you wanted me to but that's a different story. I bought you out here on some alone shit."

My eyes widened. "So you can kill me! HELP! HEEEEELP!" I yelled, trying to push him off of me but it was no use. Nobody was around for miles, so if he killed me, he'd probably be able to get away with it. "HEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!"

"Man, shut up Mya. I'm not gonna hurt you."

"So why'd you bring me out here then?"

"So I can show you something."

"What?"

"Well, if you stopped running your mouth and accusing me of something I'm not going to do then you would've noticed the house behind us. I was tryna surprise you, but you on some other shit," he said, finally letting me go. "I wanted it to be a surprise but you ruined that."

I quickly turned around and looked at the large mansion in front of us. "Why'd you bring me here?"

He laughed. "Damn. I gotta spell it out? I told you I was making moves in the hospital, and this was it. I told you we weren't gonna be cramped up in the crib we're living in now for long and I promised you that. So, while I was in the hospital, I made some moves and found us a bigger place to stay in. Somewhere, where we can do what we want without somebody else popping up and you can be as loud as you want when I'm giving you some d*ck baby."

I slightly smiled. It would be nice to move to somewhere bigger with Theodore but this is just making me feel even more guilty about not being truthful with him, especially now that my family wants to come over for dinner to meet him and his family. I just want to be honest with him, but on my time, but I guess I can't be now. They're coming over tonight for dinner and my secret is going to get spilled, regardless of if I want it to or not. Theodore's going to know the truth tonight.

Even though I was a little pissed about him blind folding me and not talking to me the entire ride here, I wrapped my arms around his torso. "The house is beautiful Prince. So, does this mean we're serious?"

He chuckled. "We been serious Mya. Why? You ain't been serious with me?"

"No, I'm just a little shocked you did all of this so soon. I mean, this house is probably super expensive--"

"And you know money don't mean nothing. You saw all the money I got. This house isn't even making a dent in my savings and I did it so we can have somewhere to be together and to be alone."

"What about Princess? I know she likes to sleep in bed with us most nights."

"Of course she's staying with us. She's gonna be down the hall from us in her own room. Me and her already talked about that and she said she'll go to King's room if she's scared because she wants us to make a little sister for her."

I laughed. "No babies any time soon." I couldn't imagine myself being pregnant since I still feel like a child. I don't know the first thing to do when raising a kid. I barely know how to take care of Princess, so I don't know what I'd do with a new born. "Can we look inside of the house now?"

Theodore nodded his head and walked me up the pavement to the house. We had been on an empty, dirt road but the house had pavement around it until we got up to the large gates that surrounded it. Theodore put in the code for the gates and they opened up, revealing the cobblestone that laid in the front of the house. I guess Theodore really had been making moves since all of his cars were already here.

"Alright, so this is the driveway," he motioned to the front yard that had cobblestone. "And we have a garage where the rest of the cars will go. In the back is a swimming pool and the basketball court." Theodore held my hand as he took me up the porch steps and opened up the front door, revealing a fully furnished home that I knew he didn't decorate himself. But besides the fully furnished home, Jazmine and Princess stood in the foyer with some guy.

"Uh Mya," Theodore began. "I'd like to introduce you to my nigga Aubrey. Aubrey, this is my girl Mya. I know Jazmine's lived with me for a few years now but her and Aubrey wanna move on with their relationship, so she's going to stay at our old house with Aubrey."

"What about me?" Princess asked with wide eyes.

Theodore chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her. "You're gonna stay here with me, Mya, Grandpa King and Isaiah. You cool with that?"

"But what about Aubrey? Me and him just became friends!"

Jazmine chuckled. "And he'll still be around. He's going to be around tonight at dinner."

I scrunched up my face. "What dinner?"

"I uh invited your family over for dinner tonight to break in the new house. My family's gonna be over too. I think it'll be a good way for all of us to meet each other," Theodore replied.

I took a deep breath. Damn. I knew Theodore wanted to meet my family but I didn't know he wanted to meet them this badly. I didn't think he'd go out of his way to invite them over but I guess it just shows how committed he is to our relationship. I know my secret is going to come out tonight, because Theodore's family isn't too different from my family. If his family is anything like how my family gets during our dinners, I just know all of our business is going to be on front street.

Isaiah

Theodore invited us over his new house for dinner to night. I was the first person here but I did that on purpose. I wanted to talk to him before Grandpa got in his ear and started convincing Theodore that being greedy with these people was all right. I wanted him to have an opinion about everything going on before Grandpa got involved because you can't have an opinion around him. Either it's his way or no way.

"This is nice as fuck," I mumbled as the butler walked me through the house since Theodore was in the living room.

"Master Theodore," the butler announced as he walked into the all white living room. Theodore was standing in front of the fireplace, looking up at this large picture of all of us when we were younger. It was the entire family including Daniel but we took this picture well before Princess was even born. She was the only person not in the picture. Theodore turned around, showing off the white button up, black Gucci slacks and black Gucci loafers he was wearing along with a couple cold chains and an Audemars Piguet watch. "Master Isaiah has arrived with a glass of wine."

Theodore chuckled as I walked up to him and gave him some dap. "It better be the good shit too."

"Of course it is. I spent a few hundred on the bottle and I bought some Henny for the adults and the freaks," I laughed as I pulled a bottle of Hennessy out of my suit jacket.

Theodore took the bottle from me. "What'chu know about this youngin'?"

"Maaaaan," I dragged out as I laughed. "I got some shit to tell you G."

I handed the butler my suit jacket as Theodore and I plopped down on the couch. I immediately popped open the bottle of Henny. Aside from warning him about Grandpa's greedy ways, I had to tell him about the numerous threesomes I've had with Mya's sisters. The two of them are freaks and will fit in perfectly with the family. I fucked them two mornings ago in the club and ever since, I've been fucking the both of them. They always call me over on some freak shit, and who am I to deny two sisters?

"Man, I got some good news and some bad news."

Theodore sighed. "Tell me the good news first."

"Well, the good news is that I found a girl...well two."

His eyes widened. "Two!? Nigga, who you raw dogging?"

"Two sisters."

The smile on Theodore's face lit up when he heard me say that. "Nigga, I need some details. Who are the sisters?"

"Precious and Imani. I met up with Mya's family and King the other morning at the club on some business shit. They said they had to use the rest room so I showed them where it was at. I was being a gentlemen and tried walking away but they pulled me into the bathroom and let me fuck them. I mean, I couldn't deny sisters. Have you seen them?"

"Nah," he mumbled. "Of all the broads that'll fuck you in Atlanta, why you gotta sleep with my girls' sisters? You know, they gon' be over tonight for dinner, right? What's gonna happen when their Pops finds out what you're doing to his daughters? Based on what Mya told me about him, he don't play about his daughter and neither does his brother. They're gonna fuck you up."

I kissed my lips. "Them niggas can't touch me and it ain't even like that with Precious and Imani. They're cool with the whole thing."

"Oh, for real?"

"Yeah. They've called me over everyday since I met them."

"Oh, so they're freaks? I thought Imani was a lesbian."

I shrugged my shoulders. "Not now that she's fucking with a real nigga," I laughed. "She's not playing for the same team anymore nigga. I got her and Precious wrapped around my fingers. Whatever I tell them to do, they do it."

Theodore smirked. "Wanna bet?"

"How much you betting?"

"A grand."

I turned to him, now intrigued by his bet. "A'ight, what's up? How are you gonna lose a grand tonight?"

"I want you, in the middle of dinner in front of all of our families, to say some off the wall shit and order them around. If they do what you say then I owe you a grand but if they don't, then you owe me a grand. You ready to lose some money tonight?" he asked, sticking his hand out for me to shake.

I shook his hand. I know Precious and Imani will do anything I say because I just got it like that. I mean, how can you deny a nice nigga like myself? I always get girls to do what I want because unlike my little brother, I don't talk to them on some disrespectful shit. You gotta respect women and then you'll earn their trust. "You're gonna lose little brother. Don't get mad when you lose."

"Theodore Reed never loses."

"Whatever," I shook my head. He was too arrogant for his own good. "Look, I got some more shit to lay on you."

"What's up?"

"You know this dinner isn't for some leisurely shit, right?"

"I mean, I figured it was something serious if Grandpa is involved. I just don't understand why he needs Mya's family to be involved or our family to be involved."

"Because he wants to combine the businesses. I'm sure Mya hasn't told you about herself but Mya ain't so different from us. Her family has the exact same business as us down here in Atlanta. Grandpa thinks it's a good idea to combine our assets to boost our revenue. We'd get a new location to combine our assets and it'll be a place for our workers to go and move weight and our families would be connected through the business and through you and Goldie. Grandpa and Matthew, Goldie's Dad, want to do things the old way by marriage and children. They want you and Goldie to get married and have children so that our families will always be connected."

Theodore hesitated a moment before sighing. "How do you feel about it?"

"I'm not really feeling it. I don't know about Goldie, but I'm picking up a bad vibe from her family and Grandpa too. Matthew and Grandpa are being too greedy for this money. As long as our businesses have been running, there's no need to get into business with our competition when we're making enough money as it is. We need competition for a reason, and now that we're limiting our competition, who the fuck we gon' watch out for? I don't want to be checking up on what they're doing and watching my back to make sure they don't do some sneaky shit. Grandpa taught us how to run the business and I don't want to have to change just to conform to them and their ways. And I'm not getting a good vibe from her brother."

"Why?"

"The way he was acting was really condescending. He was talking down to Grandpa and I like we don't know how to run a business, or like we haven't been doing this shit for years. He turned his nose up at everything like a little bitch and him and Matthew are just a little too geeked to be pushing Goldie into this, especially since she has to throw her life away by getting married and having a kid when she's so young. Based on my interactions with her, I can tell she wants nothing to do with this but Matt and Marquis seem to think otherwise. They're so damn controlling and I don't want to go into business with any control freaks. I like to be in control."

Theodore shook his head. "I knew Grandpa was on some bullshit when he called me talking about show Goldie the ropes and get her acquainted to the business. I just assumed he wanted me to show her since we were getting serious with each other. I love Mya, I do, but I don't see myself getting married or having any kids right now. I'm only 23 and I don't even know how long my relationship with Mya is gonna last, plus I'm busy with Princess. I can't take on anymore kids because I don't wanna share my attention with anybody else. Princess deserves all of my attention."

"I understand," I responded because I didn't know what else to say. I knew Theodore wouldn't want to get married. Who wants to get married and settle down in their early twenties? Plus, him and Goldie just got together so there's no telling how long they'll even last. I want them to last because I see she makes him happy but they're too young to be making major life decisions like this, especially with some people we don't know from shit. "I tried telling Grandpa that but he wasn't listening to me. All him and Matt see are money. They're not even thinking about how you and Goldie's lives will change because of this. Shit. All of our lives will change and I really think we should do some more thinking before jumping into business with these people. What if they sneak us?"

"Goldie's not like that."

"But I'm getting this bad vibe from her brother. He just seems like he's on some sneaky shit to me and I'm not feeling it. I'm not really feeling any of her family."

"So you're against going into business with them?"

"Yes. I'm not with it but Grandpa is. I mean, he isn't running the business anymore so he really shouldn't have a say in the business. Quite frankly, the three business owners need to sit down and have a conversation about whether we want to go through with this or not and it's a no from me," I told him. Me, Theodore and Daniel are running the business so it's ultimately our decision on whether or not we want to get into business with them, not Grandpa's. He can guide us in the right direction but what he's doing now is wrong. I know he'll be pissed about us speaking out against him but I just can't shake this awful feeling I'm getting from Goldie's family. They seem too greedy and controlling and too willing to get into business with people they fell out with years ago. "After dinner, we need to go downstairs and have a meeting. Just me, you and Daniel. King can't come."

"He's not gonna go for that. He's gonna want to be there."

"He can't," I spoke up. "He's not apart of the business anymore. He signed the shit over to us and it's our decision what we do for the future of the business. Shit. He needs to trust us to make the right decision. He groomed us to lead the business, so he needs to trust us enough not to fuck it up."

"Well, you tell him that," Theodore sighed. "I'm just pissed Mya's been keeping this secret from me for so long. I mean, she's been walking around like she's scared as hell to get involved with the business but she's grown up around this shit. She knows this shit like the back of her hand and that explains why it was like second nature for her to tell me how to break down the money and weight and stash the shit in different areas around the city. I should've known then she knew something about this shit. I feel so dumb, especially since I've been housing her and shit for the past few months. I swear, these girls always fuck with my head. I gotta stop letting this bitches take advantage of me man."

"Nah man, Goldie isn't even like that. She's not like her family, which is a good thing. She's trying to go the clean route and do her own thing but her father and brother have other plans for her. They want her to help run the business but she wants to do her own thing and get through life without her family ways. I'll admit, she should've told you about the shit she was on but you can't be mad at her. You just don't go talking about what our families to do any ole body. She was being protective of her family and you gotta respect that, but you can't let shit slip in between your fingers either. You gotta stay on top of shit but I really don't think Goldie has ill intentions for you. I really think she loves you but you do need to have a conversation with her about it."

"When?"

"Well everything is gonna come to light at dinner but do it afterwards. Just follow up with her about it but come calm and correct with her about it. Mya was born into some shit she really wants no parts in, so don't be too hard on her. Unlike her, you accepted the offer Grandpa gave you when you graduated high school. You had a choice, she doesn't and now she has to change her whole life because of it so don't be hard on her. A'ight?"

Theodore sighed, nodding his head. "Yeah. I'm just pissed she been lying to me for like a year now. I introduced her to my family. I moved her up in my crib with my daughter. I done moved across the city and spent a shit load of money on this crib for her, just to be living here with a female I can't even trust. Me and Princess were fine where we were at. Damn. I'm tired of these bitches walking over me. Every time I do something nice for a bitch, she takes advantage of me. But then when I'm back on my old, mean ways, I'm a fuck boy, I'm a bastard. What the fuck I'm supposed to do?"

"Honestly?" I asked, making him nod his head. "You need to stop moving so fast and not thinking shit through. Ain't no reason you moved that girl into your spot, period. I know you got feelings for her and you might even love her but you haven't known her that long to be doing the shit you doing for her."

"But I do love her though."

"How you gon' love a stripper, my nigga? Because let's be honest, what the fuck is she stripping for if her family got bank? As protective as her Pops is about his daughters, he's not just gonna let her walk around broke and you can't tell me she don't have money of her own. I know she wants to go the clean route, but seriously, stripping isn't it if you're still getting money and your family is paying for everything," I ranted. I don't dislike Goldie but some of the shit she's been on is questionable and he should've gotten to the bottom of it before he moved her in with his daughter and the rest of his family. You can't just lay down with a stranger and not expect their baggage to be exposed. He should've been expecting this. "Look, I'm not saying this to fuck with your head or anything. As your older brother, I just want you to watch your back and stop making moves so quickly without thinking them through."

He didn't say anything. He just nodded his head and I could tell what I said was fucking with him.

Theodore III

It wasn't long before everybody started arriving for dinner. I'm not even gonna lie, what Isaiah said was fucking with my head and I just couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that Goldie's been lying to me since the day I met her. She's been acting lie a poor college student, who can't catch a break for shit, but she's been playing me this entire time. If she could lie to me about her family and income, it makes me wonder what else she's lying about but it makes me question her stability and whether it's good for her to be staying with me and Princess.

I pulled the front door open since I heard cars outside. I saw Pops' car and Mama was inside with him. I don't know what the hell is going on between the two of them but they've been pretty close lately. Every time I see one of them, I see the other but Milan is nowhere to be found. I've been trying to call her though and she hasn't answered. I just hope Mama and Pops didn't fuck around and kill her to make themselves feel better.

Two other cars pulled up. I recognized Lindsey's but I didn't recognize the other or the person sitting in the driver's seat. He was dark skinned with medium length dreads pulled back. That's gotta be Mya's brother but it looked like he pissed Lindsey off. They were both pulling into the driveway at the same time but he sped up ahead of her, cut her off and parked in the spot that I had left open for her.

"Stupid bitch!" I heard Lindsey yelling out of her window.

Mya's brother didn't even seem phased by her comment though. He parked in her spot as if she wasn't going to park there and got out of his car so nonchalantly but Lindsey hopped out of hers too and raced up to Mya's brother.

Lindsey came up behind him and shoved him. "So you think that's all right? How are you just gonna cut me off?"

Mya's brother turned around with a smirk on his face. "Look lady, don't be touching me."

"Don't cut me off!"

"You was driving slow as hell and I wanted the spot near the door. End of story. Get over it. You should've got here before me if you wanted a spot. Now, if you'll excuse me," he said as he pushed Lindsey out of his way. "I'm tryna go inside and see what this little bastard is doing with my sister."

He tried walking away again but Lindsey shoved him even harder this time. "Don't talk about my brother! Your stupid ass sister is the one that lied to him. If it weren't for him, she wouldn't even be here. She'd be shaking her ass at some low class strip joint if it weren't for him," she smirked. "And I'm sure you know all too well about those."

"As do you broad. You look like the type of bitch to be shaking her ass in those low class strip joints but I told you before, don't be touching me or you gon' make me pull out my glock. I'm not motha fuckin' playing with you bitch, don't touch me or you gon' get fucked up like your bitch ass brother!"

Just listening to him degrade Lindsey was making my blood boil. Brother or not, that nigga was about to get fucked up. Just as I was about to walk outside and check this nigga, Daniel hopped out of the car.

"My nigga, who are you talking to?" he asked as he walked up to Lindsey and Mya's brother.

Mya's brother chuckled. "Look little man, this is a conversation between me and your bitch as--"

"Nah. See, that's what you're not gon' do," Daniel cut him off. "Don't talk about my Mama, don't look at my Mama, don't even think about my Mama. On some real shit, the next time you say something about my Mama, I'm gon' whoop yo ass and it's gon' be on sight every time after that."

"Nigga please," Mya's brother sucked his teeth as he pulled his gun out the top of his pants and pointed it in Daniel's direction. "I don't give a fuck about'cho Mama or you little nigga. This the only time you gon' see me, especially with all that mouth you got. It's not gon' be on sight either. I'm just gonna pop your ass here and dead this shit quick. So, you got something else to say?"

"What the hell is going on?"

"Oh shit," I heard somebody whisper behind me as Mama and Pops climbed out of Pops' car in another long black mink. I turned to see Mya standing behind me. "What's going on?"

"Your bitch ass brother pulled a gun on my nephew and been talking shit about my sister."

She frowned. "Don't talk about my brother like that. You don't know him."

"Well check is ass then before I have to."

She pushed past me as she walked out of the house.

"Now sweetie," Mama began as she walked up Mya's brother, who still had the gun pointed at Daniel. "What are you so angry about? We came over here to have a nice dinner and get to know each other. You can't be mad when you're getting free food, so it has to be something else going on with you. Are you having problems at home?"

"No," Mya's brother growled. "And stop talking to me. I don't even know you."

"Marquis please stop and put the gun down," Mya begged as she walked up on the other side of him.

"Man, Goldie, get the fuck outta here."

Mama laughed. "You do have some anger issues baby. Is it a girl? A guy? You know, I could help you. I know a lot of facilities that help people cope with their anger issues but taking out your problems on an innocent child isn't the right thing to do. Now, all you gotta do is put the gun down and go inside and we can all eat. And you know what? Everybody will forget about this shit even happening once the food comes out. You hungry baby? 'Cause you look it. When's the last time you had a home cooked meal?"

I sucked my teeth when Marquis sighed, lowering his gun. What a bitch. "It's been a minute."

"See!" Mama smiled. "You're probably just hungry baby. Why don't you come inside with me?"

Marquis didn't say nothing as he took Mama's hand and let her drag him into the house like he's two years old. Mya followed right behind them though but I didn't want a nigga like this in my house. He was too disrespectful for my liking, so I stopped him as soon as he got to the door.

"Next time you disrespect my sister and pull a gun on my nephew, we gon' scrap on some grown man shit. No guns, no goons, none of that shit. And get'cho fuckin' hands off of my Mama nigga. Don't talk to her, ever," I said as I grabbed Mama and her away from him.

Marquis chuckled. "You know, you got a lot of shit to say for a nigga that's fronting. I heard about you in these streets nigga and what I'm hearing ain't so pretty."

I folded my arms. I don't believe a word he's saying. Don't nobody know me out here, especially anybody he associates with. He's low and I'm high. I don't associate with bottom of the barrel ass niggas like him. "What'chu heard?"

"Why is it even important?" Mya butted in. "Can we all just go in the house and have a peaceful dinner, please?"

"Talk to your bitch ass brother," I demanded. "He came in here starting shit with everybody. You need to check his ass since this is your family. My family is good, yours ain't."

"She don't gotta do shit," Marquis replied, pushing me back.

I reached shoved this nigga back against the door. I don't know what his issue is but I'm not feeling him. I don't know why he came in here on ten, starting shit with anybody he comes across. "Look nigga, this is my motha fuckin' house and if you gotta issue with the way I'm talking to your sister, you can take her and the both of y'all liars can get the fuck outta here. Matter of fact, you can take your whole lying, scheming ass family and all of y'all bitches can get the fuck outta my damn house and away from my family."

Mya pushed me. "Theodore, what the fuck did I even do?"

Just like I shoved her brother, I shoved her the fuck out of my house. "You been fuckin' lying to me since the day I met you. You been on some other shit and I found out the truth today. I don't fuck with liars and I don't fuck with fake people and I don't like your fuckin' family. So, in that regard, all of y'all, including you Mya, can leave my damn house. I don't wanna see your face and don't bring your ass back to my club asking for your job back because you're fired! You been walking around for months, looking clueless like a dumb ass but you knew about my business all along and you're not fuckin' broke. You been letting me give you money for months but you've been using me! You're a fuckin' liar and I don't want shit to do with'cho ass no more. Get the fuck out!"

Right now, I was heated and the more everybody argued, the more my temper was beginning to flare. I know Isaiah told me to come correct to Mya but I just can't stand a liar. I've been lied to all my life: by every girl I was ever with, by my best friends, even my parents lied to me. I don't like liars because all they do is back stab me. I'm always the nigga that's hurt in the end, so I'm going to kill this situationship I got going on with Mya before it goes any further.

I was caught off guard when I felt a sharp sting in the side of my face. I stumbled back into the house, trying to catch my balance. As soon as I was standing up right, Marquis and I got to fighting and I was honestly just taking my anger out on this nigga. I was pissed about Mya fucking me over. I was pissed about her family coming in here like they run shit. I was pissed about Nicole and Tee Tee trying to take my daughter away from me. But most importantly, I was pissed that my body was still in pain and sore from getting shot by my crazy ass ex and baby mama.

Marquis had no right coming up in my house like he owns the place. That pissed me the fuck off with him, so for that, I uppercutted him in the stomach but that didn't seem to slow him down. I just kept the punches rolling as he did the exact same thing to me. My body was fucking killing me from getting shot but I just kept punching and kicking this nigga with everything I had in me.

"Hey, y'all niggas need to stop fighting!" My Dad yelled.

I could feel him and Mama trying to break us up but wasn't nothing breaking us up. I was determined to get this nigga out of here in a body bang. Mya has a lot of nerve bringing this nigga to my house and not controlling him. She clearly knows how he acts, so she should've checked him as soon as he decided to cut Lindsey off.

I could hear foot steps coming from the back so I knew it had to be everybody else since they probably heard all the commotion. All the old folks were in the back with Isaiah and Mya's two sisters. I could feel Grandpa and Isaiah trying to pull me off of this nigga but I just wasn't having it. I don't like him, mainly because he reminded me of Willie. He was too arrogant for his own when he's living off of some shit that was given to him. He hasn't worked for shit and I know he isn't doing anything with the business his Dad gave him. And he was hot headed for no apparent reason. He didn't have to come in here starting shit with my sister, and not expect me to check him. Lindsey might be annoying, irritating, self-centered, psychotic and a shit starter but she's my sister and I'm not gonna let any of these niggas fuck with her.

"What the fuck is going on out here?" I heard Matt ask.

"Let go of my baby!"

Mama finally realized I wasn't going to let go of him, so she got a grip on his dreads and pulled his ass down to the ground. See, that's one thing I love about Mama. She always has my back. She has a funny way of expressing her feelings and she may be a little crazy at times but she always has my back and isn't going to let anybody hurt me, no matter how dangerous the situation may be for her.

Mama pulling Marquis off of me is what broke up the fight. Mya's family was able to keep Marquis down, while my family held me back but I wasn't even concerned about him. I was concerned about Princess, who was in the back with everybody.

"Where the fuck is my daughter at?" I continuously asked as I tried to get out of Grandpa's grip. "Where's Princess?!" I yelled.

"Hopefully that little bitch realized her father ain't nothing but a piece of shit and ran away from your crazy ass," Marquis spat in my direction.

"Fuck you!" I yelled. As soon as his spit landed on my Gucci loafer, I elbowed Grandpa, pushing him off of me and I lunged at Marquis. Who was he to spit on me and call my daughter out of her name? I broke through Mya's family, pushing and shoving her, her sisters and her Mama out of my way so I could get to Marquis. I wasn't thinking clearly. I was heated and all I was seeing was red, so I tried to push Matthew out of my way but the feeling of a gun being pressed against my stomach made me slow down. It didn't stop me though. "Get this fuckin' gun off of me and let your bitch ass son fight me!"

Matthew pushed me back. "Look, I know you're pissed but just calm down. We're all pissed and he just said some shit he didn't mean."

"No he didn't," Grandpa finally spoke up as he pulled out his gun. "He knew what the fuck he was saying and he knew who the fuck he was spitting at, and that's the ultimate disrespect. I don't know if any of y'all niggas noticed but the deal is off the table and y'all need to get the fuck up outta here. NOW!"

"Fine, we'll leave," Matthew responded as he put his gun away. "But just know, every single one of y'all niggas, bet not come around my family. And Prince, the little relationship you had with my daughter is null and void."

I shrugged my shoulders. "Good, I didn't want her lying ass no ways."

Matthew gathered up his family and they eventually left my house but the look on Mya's face made my heart sink. I hate being mean to her but I don't trust her because she lied and I don't like her family. If Mya's family can act like this to complete strangers, then I'm sure she's exactly like when once I get to know the real her. But as far as our relationship, I considered it done as soon as Marquis called my daughter out of her name. He's my fucking enemy now and anybody associated with him is on my shit list too, including Mya.

"Where's my daughter at?" I asked, turning to my family, but I was shocked to see all of the blood on the floor from the fight. Blood was leaking out of almost every inch of my body and I could feel my eye swelling up but I didn't care. All I wanted was to find Princess. "Where the fuck is Princess?"

My family just looked at me like a bunch of idiots, not saying shit so I went to look for myself. I don't know why they'd just leave her while all of this is going on. I went straight to the dining room since that's where I left her but she was gone. Her dolls were still sitting on the dining room table but she wasn't there. I looked all around the house, blood leaking from my body and all, in search for Princess but she was nowhere to be found.
