La'Toya Okay I've finally made it. I took so many different ways just in case they were following me. Oh yeah I did say I was gonna call RJ.

"La'Toya where you at?"

"I went to Jaida's house, but..."

"Stay put! We are on the way."

I hear three beeps. Did he just hang up on me? I know he didn't. Imma get him when I see him. For now imma go in the house. I look around the exterior of the house. I guess Mr. and Mrs. Green are out. I notice that the back door is opened. I go straight on in and close the door. I check up stairs to see if anything was out of the ordinary. Everything was in place. I didn't find anyone upstairs when I looked. I go downstairs and everything looks decent.

Why was the back door opened especially when the AC is on? I'm low key hungry. I go into the kitchen and a note catches my eye. The note is written by Jaida's parents. I mean her business is my business. So of course imma read the note. So she was home alone until Ryan showed up. I figured as much. I pull a sandwich outta the refrigerator. I heat it up in the microwave and set it on the counter.

"Now who in the heck left a half eaten cookie on the counter? Whoever did this ya just nasty. This should be a sin! Gotta germs all over this counter. Who raised you like this? Talk about no home training! At least they were not too nasty to just leave it on the bare counter. Whoever did this put the cookie on top of a piece of paper."

I pick the paper up and the cookie slides into the trash can. I shake the paper over the trash can. It says:

To whom it may concern @La'Toya:

I see you are here The time is getting near I have chosen you Don't feel blue Jaida is with me As you can see I need you to go somewhere alone Don't cry or groan Go to 2265 Peach Street So we can meet If you don't come alone That's an act I can't condone If you break the code I will go into killing mode So do what you're told Don't try being bold Your time starts now Boom. Now there will be someone following you to make sure you follow the terms and conditions. Nod your head if you agree.

Orlando This woman got me running through red lights and everything to get to her. By the time I get to Jaida's house I'm too late. La'Toya's car is no where to be seen. I knew I should've confiscated her keys when we got into the argument that caused me to yell at her. Who am I kidding she would've found a way to leave even if I had of did that.

"Dang it! Why can't you for once follow directions?"

RJ pulls up beside me. I get out of my truck to see if La'Toya is still in there. I take a look around and see a note on the counter. It's from La'Toya.

To RJ (since Lando is talking to me like a lil kid)

Hey umm I gotta get Jaida back. I know you said to wait, but I couldn't let Jaida be a sitting duck. I have to go after her even if that means that I might lose my life in the process. It's something I gotta do. If I don't make it out alive tell Lando I still love his big headed self. Imma miss him, but I promised myself I wouldn't get emotional. So he got my permission to find a new queen if I die. Heck I might still haunt him if he move on lol, but I want him to be happy. Aye I leave all my stuff to Jaida if this turns out right. If not then Lando you can have it, but you better not have one of your thots in my stuff.

I grab the note and squeeze it in my hands. I see the other note she left. This one is signed by Ry.

"Aw hecks nah. RJ get in here!"

He runs in the kitchen and see what I'm pointing to. We go outside to discuss it.

"I thought you said she was on our side?"

"She with TJ."

"I told you we couldn't trust her. We use to call Rylee Ry when we were growing up. Now there's her nickname. So what side is she on?"

"I'm gonna make a quick call."

TJ As we get closer to the house I disable her alarm system and surveillance unit. She doesn't suspect a thing. RJ keeps on calling my phone, but I have to stay focused. I can't mess this up. He shoots me a text.

RJ✊💯: Don't trust her.

Clearly I know this already. We finally arrive at their house and she lets me in the back door. I put my gloves on and go to work. I make sure none of the papers have that special device on them which causes ink to bleed all over the documents. Rylee goes upstairs to her room and I grab all that I can carry to my ride. She sure is taking her sweet time. Good thing I set a device on her so I could hear everything she was saying.

"Yeah he's here at the estate. He told me he'd help me. He's the only one out of the family I can rely on. I'm not finna..."

I'm not finna stick around and listen to all that. I need to keep it moving before the surveillance comes back on. I leave and take care of her car. After I drop her off at her new home, I'm going to head to Legacy headquarters. It's time they know what's happening.

La'Toya My nerves were bad. Ryan shouldn't have told me someone was following me. This got me so paranoid. What really confirmed that is when I came out of the house and got into my car there was a GPS hooked up. On the GPS it already had the destination I was suppose to go to. I let out a deep breath I got this. I try to relax, but I can't. I have a few minutes until I reach Jaida. I don't know what to do in situations like this. Do I kick butt? Do I snoop around like a spy or do I call the police? Scratch that last part. My thoughts came to a halt when the GPS voice told me to turn left. I look at this unfamiliar road. I see ran down houses on both sides. Must be trap houses. I keep my eyes forward I'm not trying to make eyes contact and I lock my doors. This street is not safe at night especially for a woman. I look in my side mirrors and I see people coming out of the houses. They start roaming around.

"Destination on right."

I turn right and park my car. I need a song to hype my spirits I turn on some Cardi B. I bob my head and sing along. Alright I'm ready. I get out and lock my car. I open a door and it's dark in there. As I start to walk the lights come on. It's ratchet on the outside but in the inside it's quite a sight. I walk around and look in awe.

"Liking the view?"

I turn to see Ryan.

"Where's Jaida?"

"Come closer La'Toya. Don't be scared I don't bite."

I feel like it's a set up so I stand my ground.

"I don't take orders from you."

"Smart, stubborn girl I see you have spunk."

I just look at him and I'm ready to attack if I have to.

"This is my house and you have to play by rules. You are nothing, but a guest here."

"I don't like rules. Just show me where my best friend is then we don't have a problem."

"Oh if it was only that simple."

"It can be if you let it be. I didn't wanna come in here embarrassing you, but if I gotta then I will."

"See that's what I admire about you. Even when you are scared you try to be bold. It's like you're putting a bluff in."

"You wanna test that theory?"

"Ooo feisty and tempting! How about we play family game?"

"I don't play games I'm straight up. What's poppin?"

"Aww that really wasn't a choice. You don't have a say in the matter."

He steps forward and pushes me back. My butt lands into a chair and it was Gucci until two people came and tied my hands and feet. Didn't see that coming at all.

"Now La'Toya you get a front row ticket of seeing what we are about to do to Jaida every time you get a question wrong."
