AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Just so you don't get confused when the story begins, here is a little info on the Blaine Brothers. Each brother was cursed with an element. By that, I mean the witch who cast this curse on them inspired the curse from one of the four elements.

Earth, Water, Fire, Air.

So each boy's curse is different. During the day, the half little to no control over their abilities. It's only at night when they can mask it.

There's a bit of a twist on it though so read down below on their info. I should also remind you that they aren't actually brothers. You'll find out more about their situation in the story :)

Also, quick note. Some of the boys have two curses. One curse during the day and one curse during the nighttime. The daytime one is the visible one and the nighttime one is more about personality. If they turn 21 without finding their one true love, they are stuck with their daytime curse.

AGE: 20

ELEMENT: Fire

TIME LEFT: Six Months till his 21st birthday.

CURSE: Shadow breathes fire if he's set off. If he is enraged enough, he can hurt someone he cares about--even if it's on accident and unintentional. He locks himself up during the daytime because that is when he is at his worst and cannot deal with his fire. He moves at the speed of light, day or night.

FEAR: "Shish-ing kabob someone sounds like a bad thing...right?"

AGE: 19

TIME LEFT: One entire year and a few months till his 21st birthday.

ELEMENT: Air

CURSE: At night, he is unable to speak. He is as quiet as air. In the daytime, he is invisible. (But, he is able to communicate through thoughts when he's invisible).

FEAR: "I fear I will never find someone who can deal with my silence. And what a shame. I have a great voice."

AGE: 20

TIME FRAME: One Year

ELEMENT: Earth

CURSE: When the sun rises, he is transformed to an earthbound creature. Not quite a beast and not quite human. He can still communicate with people as if he were human, but does not look like himself. For the most part, he stays in doors when the sun is out. Once it's night time, he is back to his human form. At night, he is cursed with a loud, egoistic personality. He's a bit of a control freak and likes it when things are his way.

FEAR: "I'd really appropriated it if I wasn't some stone beast. My other brothers at least have normal curses whereas I am stuck with the medieval curse of being a monster. I always thought having a comb-over would end a chance in dating a girl. Wrong. Being a giant, human crushing, stone beast is a challenge."

AGE: 19

TIME FRAME: Two Years exactly

ELEMENT: Water

CURSE: At night, he is unable to stay with one woman. He is always flowing between one relationship to another. He's extremely flirtatious and hits on anyone. In the day, he is not able to stay anywhere longer than fifteen to thirty minutes. He evaporated after the time is up in the presence of the sun. In this state, he is able to speak and can be seen, but as time passes, he loses the ability to be seen. He is a form of cloud if he stays outside for too long.

FEAR: "I don't want to be stuck like this forever. Because come on. No one wants to screw a flowing body of water that has no solid form whatsoever."
