"Damn you got no food" Wooski said as he looked through my fridge

"Nigga why you think we going with her to the grocery store for?" Blast said smacking his head making me laugh

"Shit damn my bad" He threw his hands up in surrender

"So where we going?" Wooski asked taking a seat on the couch

"I'm calling Tez to see if he can send me some money and depending how much he sends me then we'll see. But most likely Jewels" I told him as I dialed Tez's number

"Wassup lady bug?" He answered on the second ring

"Hey I wanted to see if you could send me some money so I could buy some groceries cause there's literally nothing to eat here and all Blast and I got is 50" I told him

"Grandma ain't go grocery shopping?" He asked

"No.She told me and blast she wasn't gonna buy food no more cause she never home" I told him rolling my eyes at the conversation we had earlier "I get paid next week so I can pay you back" I told him

I had finally gotten a job at Footlocker so I was finally gonna be able to make money and not depend on nobody in this household no more.

"Nah you gonna keep yo money. I'll send ya'll 200. That should be enough to buy a decent amount of food. Don't be buying only junk food. Buy shit to make actual meals" He said

"Thank you and we will" I told him as I slid on my shoes

"Anytime lady bug. You good though?" He asked his voice getting serious

"Yeah I'm good. Um Granny said I have an appointment with the therapist next week"

"She actually made you the appointment?" He asked sounding surprised

"Yeah, She said she can't have me trying to take my life again. But when you coming home? I feel like I haven't seen you in years"

Ever since he start selling to them rich white kids he's always either in burbs out here or in Indiana or Ohio so I never see him like I used to.

"We heading back tomorrow. I'll try and get on the road early so we can make it before you go to school" He said making me smile

"You for real or you playing with me?" I asked him

"Yeah Nahla" He laughed " And we gonna be laying low for a bit so you ain't gonna have to worry about us leaving you. But aye Saturday we going over Aunt Linda's crib for a party" He told me making me frown

"Aunt Linda? Why? She don't fuck with us" I told him confused "None of them do so why they inviting us to a party when we've never been invited?"

"You know they probably wanna see how we turned out. They gonna see if we ugly and broke so they can talk their shit" He said "But we all fine so jokes on them" He laughed making me laugh

"You hell but I guess. I'm bringing Blast and Wooski" I shrugged as if he could see me

"Go ahead but go and do what you gotta do. Take Dre's car so ya'll not out there walking back with all them bags. Tell Blast to drive"

"You sure we can take his car?" I asked him

"Yeah just be careful and don't fuck it up"

"We won't but see you tomorrow. Please be careful. Love you"

"I promise we will. I love you too kid text me when you get back in the crib" He said before hanging up

I went to the chase app to see how much money he sent. Looking at it I seen he sent me almost 400. I knew some was for me to have Incase I wanted some other things.

"Y'all ready?" I asked them

"Hell yeah. Man my ass starving" Wooski said hopping up "y'all got a young brother dying out here"

"You acting like you the only one starving" I rolled my eyes walking over to where we hung all the keys grabbing Dre's

Usually I wouldn't take his car even if they told me to for the simple fact I don't fuck with him like that. But considering that it was a 15 minute walk and we were about to buy hella groceries I had to take the offer

"Here you driving" I tossed Blast the keys

"Why he get to drive?" Wooski asked

"Cause last time i let you drive Tez car you almost killed us" i told him grabbing my purse walking out

"Man a nigga almost crash and all of a sudden I can't drive" he shook his head walking out

"Almost? Nigga you done fucked your OG and bro's car and you wanna say almost. You always fucking up shit" Blast laughed walking out behind him

I made sure I had everything before walking out. I made sure the door was locked before walking down the hall.

"I call shot gun" Wooski yelled running to the car

"Nah I call shotgun" I said running after him

"I got here first so bounce"

"I get shot gun on the way back" I shrugged getting in

I made sure to put my seatbelt on cause these niggas don't know the meaning of driving safely. To them this shit was like GTA.

"So Jewels?" He asked

"Yeah. Wooski let me get the aux cord" I told him reaching for it

"Nah nigga I'm in front so I'm playing my music"

"Bruh I swear you annoying" I rolled my eyes

I watched as he connected his phone to the aux.

I swear they be making me want to snap their damn necks

Soon "Made nigga" by Lil Bibby started playing. He's lucky this my shit

"You wanna hit this?" Blast said passing him the blunt he had sparked when we had pulled off.

"Hell yeah" 'He took the blunt hitting it a couple times before throwing it out.

"Ya'll some pot heads" I laughed getting out the car

I fixed myself up then started walking towards the entrance cause I wasn't about to wait for them. They be taking their sweet ass time.

Walking in I grabbed a cart then walked into the store. I looked around seeing where I should go first.

"Damn Nahla ain't even tryna wait for us"Blast laughed once they got to me

"Ya'll be taking forever. But what should we buy?" I asked

I never do the food shopping so this was about to be the most confusing thing ever

"Shit let's go get some meat" Wooksi said walking over to the deli section

"Fuck we suppose to get though?" Blast said

I looked at all the meat and ain't even know what the hell to get.

"Let's just go get the prepackages meat" I told them walking over to where they had the fresh packaged meat

I grabbed some steaks, Beef, Hamburgers,ribs and pot roast before walking over to the chicken area. There I got some drumsticks. chicken breast and wings. I looked around seeing if anything else called my attention before going over to the vegetables and shit.

"How you know which one is good?" Wooski said grabbing a tomato

"Um I don't know" I laughed "Go ask that lady" I told him and he mugged me

"Fuck I look like asking about this shit"

"Like a good boy" I smiled

"Fuck you"He said before walking away to ask the old lady

"Um excuse ma'am how do I pick out vegetables" He asked her in his nicest voice possible

"Excuse ma'am?"I laughed looking at blast And he just shrugged

"Well it depends on the vegetables.But for the most part you have to make sure they are firm and evenly colored. Especially with cucumbers, pepper. onions and potatoes" She told him as she picked out some onions "Here now let's get you all the vegetables you need" She told him

Blast and I stood in our spots watching the lady drag Wooksi around the stores picking all types of vegetables out

"We ain't even gonna eat half of them shits" Blast looked at me

"We'll just leave whatever we don't want"

"Lady you gonna give me money for all this cause you over here picking shit like I got all this damn money. I'm broke as fuck" Wooski said making me snap my head in his direction

"Time to go" Blast walked away leaving me standing there

"Wooski" I said out loud making both of them to look my way

"What man. She over picking all these damn vegetables out and shit. They cost like 3 bucks a pound G"

"You could've stopped me. The youth is so damn disrespectful" She said trying to snatch the bags back from Wooski

"Nah I need these" He walked away with everything leaving me there with the lady staring at me with a mug

"I'm sorry about him" I told her but she rolled her eyes walking away

"Well fuck you too" I said going to meet up with Blast and Wooski

"Here" Wooski threw the bags in the cart

"Can't take niggas anywhere" I shook my head going down the cereal aisle

After about an hour and some we was on our way back to the crib.

We pulled up parking the car back in his spot. Once the car was off we got out grabbing as many bags as we could cause lord knows I ain't tryna do no double trip.

"Can someone tell me why we ain't stop and buy some to eat?" Wooski said

"Nigga we just spent like 300 on groceries and yo ass wanna buy fast food" Blast shook his head making me laugh

I unlocked the door so we could hurry up and put everything away so we could feed this boy.

Mid way of us putting the groceries away there was banging on the door.

"You expecting someone?" Blast asked me

"Nah you?"

"Nah" He said pulling out his glock along with Wooski

We walked to the door slowly making sure not to make no noise. I looked through the peephole we had and I couldn't believe who it was

I opened the door as fast as I could
