"Polo" Nahla yelled once she opened the door seeing it was me. "Oh my god" she said jumping into my arms

I caught her and held her tight. A nigga never wanted to let her go. Just being able to hold her and hug her made a nigga feel some way.

"You don't know how much I missed you" She cried hugging me tighter

"I missed you too man"

"I thought you had 4 years though" She got down wiping her tears.

"My nigga" Blast and Wooski called out as they walked out the apartment meeting us in the hallway

"My niggas" I dapped them up

"Come on let's go inside Before people start tripping" Nahla said bringing us inside

"How you get out? They gave yo ass 4 years?" Wooski asked

"Man my lawyer came in clutch and got me another trial. They ain't have evidence so they let a nigga go"

"We just happy you back man. Missed yo ass" Blast said as he gave me a man hug

"Nah for real man. I hated seeing yo ass behind that glass" Wooski shook his head

"Man it felt horrible being in that shit but I'm just happy to be free again"

"And now yo ass can help us put these groceries away" Wooski said as he followed Nahla back into the kitchen

He walked over to the table sitting down

"What you doing?" Nahla asked him

"Taking a break. Polo can cover for me now" he smiled putting his hands behind his head

"Damn I just got out and you putting me to work already nigga?" I laughed

"Hell yeah! We had to cover for you with her and that shit ain't easy bro. I don't know how you put up with her ass"

"I ain't difficult you just stupid" She rolled her eyes going back to what she was doing

It felt good being home with these niggas man.

We put everything away then went to sit down in the living room but I had some shit to talk about with Nahla.

I needed to talk to her and see how she was doing. I haven't been able to talk to her about that little episode she had so I need to now.

"Aye Nahla let me holla at you for a minute" I told her heading to her room.

I walked in taking a seat on her bed waiting for her to come in

"What happened?" She asked confused

"I wanna see how you doing"

"Um I'm good. You?"

"So wassup with all that shit you pulled?"

"Polo!" She whined

"Nah polo none! I wanna know what's up?"

"I was just going through it. I felt so alone. Like I had no one to turn to or talk to. Then my dreams about my parents and Trey started becoming more and more vivid that they were fucking with me. Every time I closed my eyes I seen them. Me and granny been going at more and more. Tez is out more so he's never home. You were locked up. Paris and I haven't really been talking lately so I was left alone with my thoughts eating me up. I just missed them so much that I wanted to be reunited with them" She said as she looked down at the floor

"And why you ain't talk to me when I would call?"

"Because we had so little time that I wanted to know how you were doing and not worry you about my bs"

"Nahla if you would've told me this shit trust and believe I would've finessed my way into more time on the phone. Or more time with you on visiting days. What good would anything be if I lose you?" I grabbed her hand causing her to look at me

"I know and im sorry. I didn't wanna scare anybody honestly I was tired. Been living like this for 5 years I just wanted it to end"

"I know kid but that don't mean take yo life. You A G and we get through everything. You got me regardless of the circumstances" I pulled her too me "Ight"

"Ight" she smiled "Aye you coming with me to my aunts party Saturday!"

"Aunt? Thought nobody fucked with y'all"

"Apparently they invited us to this party just to see how we doing" She rolled her eyes

"Shit then let's go show them Niggas just how good you are with out them "

Terrance Smith (Tee)

"Wassup nigga?" My cousin said as I walked in the crib

"What yo ass doing here?" I asked him as I took my hoodie off hanging it up on the rack.

"I came to chill with yo ass nigga. Done forgot about me and shit" He shook his head

"Man it ain't even like that. I've been working like crazy so my free time I usually spend it with Nahla" I told him walking to my room with him right behind me

"I forgot about Nahla. Ya'll still together?" He raised his eyebrow

"You must wanna get knocked out" I mugged him

He's had a little crush on Nahla since the day he met her out but he knew better then to try some shit cause I ain't playing behind her

"Chill. I'm just playing but she is fine as fuck" He shrugged and I threw a pillow at his ass knocking him off the chair "Fuck nigga damn"

"Stop talking about my girl nigga"

"Ight damn but you are spending hella time with her now that polo locked up"

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"That she finally made time for the side nigga"He said laughing

"I ain't her side nigga" I waved him off tryna find some to wear.

"Yes you are. Polo her main Nigga and you her side nigga. So when Polo busy you're the one she fucks with" he laughed again

"And this shit amusing to you?"

"Hell yeah. You think you the shit cause you got a fine ass female but whole time she's playing yo ass"

"Shut the Fuck up nigga and gone somewhere I got plans with Nahla so I ain't gonna be home"

I was taking Nahla on a date since we haven't been able to hang out this week due to my work schedule

I dialed her number and it rang for a bit before sending me to voicemail

"Hmm I'm guessing she got another side nigga for when you're busy? Damn she cold" He shook his head

"Shut the fuck up damn" I semi yelled dialing her phone again only for it to send Me to voice mail again

I threw my phone on my bed sitting down

I was trying not to over think especially when I knew Nahla wasn't that type of female. Even though she hangs out with niggas all day I know she'll never do anything with them.

After a few minutes my phone rang and I hurried up and grabbed it seeing it was her

I answered right away

"Hey baby" I said

"Hey babe Im sorry my phone was charging and i didn't hear it" She said making me smile

I was falling hard for this girl and I didn't even know if I should try and stop it or not

"That's fine. What you doing though? You still down to hangout tonight?" I asked her hoping she'll say yes

"Can we do it tomorrow instead? Polo just got home and I want to spend time with him and catch up"

"He's home?" I asked raising my eyebrow

"Yeah he beat his case and was let out!" She said sounding the happiest she's sounded since he got locked up

"That's fine then baby. Enjoy your time and we can hang out another day" I assured her

"Okay bae. I'll talk to you later bye" she hung up

"I love you too" I said to myself as I stared at the phone

"Polo home so you back to being the side nigga"
