"Wake yo ass up" I heard some say followed by someone grabbing my legs.

Before I knew it my body hit the floor

"Jamir" I yelled once I opened my eyes seeing it was him who was now dragging me across the floor out my room

"Drag her ass out to the trash" Wooski yelled as he dragged me past him so I grabbed his leg knocking him to the floor grabbing on to his leg "Let go" He tried to kick me but I wasn't going

"If I'm getting dragged then you are too"

"What the fuck ya'll doing?" Tez said coming out his room

Mir dropped me and I had let go of Wooski

"Nothing" We answered

"Get ya'll asses ready cause we ain't about to be waiting"

"Then don't. Ya'll can leave without me" I shrugged getting up

"Getcho ass up and get ready" He laughed waving me off "Ya'll going too?" He asked Mir,Wooski and Blast

"Yeah"

"Ight get ready too" He said walking back towards his room

"Wait what kind of party is it? So I can dress accordingly" I asked him

"A Quince so dress I guess. Dress how you want" He shrugged going into his room "Oh and we leaving at 5 so be ready" He stuck his head out saying

I checked the clock seeing it was 1

"Well my ass gonna run home real quick and get dressed. I'll meet yo ass back here at 4" Wooski said dapping them up before hugging me

"Let me head out with you. I'll be back once I'm done" Mir said hugging me then dapping Blast before walking out with Wooski

"What you gonna wear?" I asked Blast as he took a seat on the couch

"Shit I don't even know. Probably just some jeans and a nice shirt" He shrugged "You?"

"I have no idea. I haven't been to a party like this since my parents been alive so I don't even think I have appropriate clothing" I said just as Tez walked in

"Nahla if yo ass ain't ready on time I'm beating yo ass" He told me but I laughed

"I have nothing to wear"

"You have the black dress you begged me to buy you A few weeks ago" He said reminding me of it

"Oh shit then I'll wear that with some slides"

"Get started on your makeup cause you take hours" he said grabbing taking a seat on couch too

"I don't take hours" I rolled my eyes knowing damn well I do

"G you know you do" Blast laughed

"Fuck ya'll" I said heading to the kitchen so I could get a water bottle "Is Dre going too?" I asked

"Yeah he going too"

I nodded my head heading towards my room so I could get started getting ready.

I grabbed my phone facetiming Polo so he could be on facetime with me while I get ready. He answered right away

"What are you doing?" I asked



"Baby I'm chilling like a motherfucking villian" He sang

"You're suppose to be getting ready dude! Not chilling" I rolled my eyes

"Chill Nahla. Ima shower and get dressed and then I'll head yo way since that's what you want" He laughed

"Shut up! But stay on facetime with me while we both get ready then" I told him setting my phone up

"Ight"He said turning his attention to some

I grabbed my make up putting it on the desk so I could grab what I needed.

"All that damn makeup" He shook his head

"I need it" I shrugged looking at him "I need to redo both our hairs. This shit ridiculous" I said looking at my head

"You can do it tomorrow" He said and I nodded.

I grabbed my eye shadow pallet seeing what I should do with my face

"What colors should I use?" I asked Mir showing him the pallet

"Yellow, that brown right there, then that light pink shit"

"The fuck?"

"You said pick and I did so figure some out" He laughed getting up from his bed "Ima shower" He told me grabbing his towel walking into the bathroom.

He set the phone up so I could see everything while he got his shower ready. I looked for my brush and got started on my makeup.



I decided to do yellow at the bottom and then cover it up with other colors.

"But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heartI just don't think he'd understandAnd if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heartHe might blow up and kill this man" I heard him singing

I stopped what I was doing to look in the mirror seeing him dancing as he sang Achy breaky heart by Billy Ray Cyrus

"Fuck is you singing?" I laughed

"This my shit bruh" He said

I continued laughing as I went back to finish my eye make up. Finally finishing it I actually liked the way it looked.



"Aw shit I did a good job" He said as he got out the shower wrapping the towel around his waist.

"You actually did. Now I gotta look for an outfit" I grabbed my phone walking to my closet just as I heard a knock on the door "Come in"

"What you doing?" Blast asked walking in taking a seat.

"About to find some to wear" I handed him the phone "Here you and Polo gonna help me decide" I told him opening my closet.

I went through my clothes finding some dresses. Some were too elegant so those were an automatic no.

I finally settled for a cream/white off the shoulder long sleeve and a black short dress that had the chest area laced up

"Which one" I held the dresses up

"That one" Blast said pointing to the white one

"I agree with him" Mir's voice came through the phone

"White it is" I said heading to the closet so I could put it on

I had already showered so I only needed to get dressed and I would be ready for this party. Once it was on I walked out showing them

"Damn you look good sis" Blast said

"Turn around let me see what you working with" Mir said making me laugh as I did a full spin "Aw shit that ass looking right"

"I hate you" I shook my head grabbing the phone

"Now what shoes" I sighed laying down on my bed

"Don't know but ima go get ready before yo bro beat my ass" Blast said walking out

"You talk to yo man today?" Mir asked

"Yeah but it hasn't been a lot though since he can't use his phone at work" I told him as I watched him get ready.

"Be real with me Lala you got feelings for him?" He asked as he slid on his shirt

"Yes Mir. I mean we been dating almost a year. I don't think I would be with him if I didn't feel anything for him" I told him and he just nodded

I got up walking towards my door opening it. I checked to see if anyone was in the bathroom. Seeing no one was there I made my was so I could I take some pictures.

"Ya'll ready?" Dre yelled stopping me from answering any comments

I walked out the bathroom going to my room sliding on a pair of cute slides and grabbed my purse and charger.

I walked into the living room seeing Tez was still playing the game



"I thought we was leaving?" I asked him

"We is but I gotta finish this bitch up" He said

I shook my head making my way outside seeing Wooksi,Dre and Blast standing there posted.

"Where Polo and Tez at man?" Dre asked getting impatient

"Tez inside playing the game still" I told him "Mir where you at?" I asked him remembering I was still on facetime with him

"I'm down the block now"He said causing me to turn my head facing the end of the block

"I see him" Wooski said pointing

"Get in the car while I go get Tez" Dre said unlocking the car

"Yo grandparents ain't going?" Wooski asked

"Nah this my mama's side party and you know they don't get along"

"So this gonna be a Mexican party?" Blast asked as he got in

"Mostly. I don't know if my moms black side is going to be there" I told them as Mir reached us

"We leaving?" He asked

"Yeah get in cause I'm getting window seat" I smiled

"Aye Wooski nigga gone to the back I get that window seat" He said but Wooski shook his head

"Should've been here nigga. To the back you go" He laughed making Mir smack his lips

We all got in just as Dre and Tez walked out the house

I honestly didn't know what to expect at this party. Like I don't know these people. I don't even think I ever even met them.

"Tez" I called out

"Wassup Lady bug?"

"Have you ever met anyone from moms side?"

"A few of them but most of them nah"

Before I could respond I got a text from Mir

MirMir🤞🏼💛: Don't worry about none. Everything's going to be fine. They gonna love you. I'm here with you every step of the way. I got you🤞🏽. Throwing straight hands if you disrespected in anyway. Don't trip cupcake.

I smiled turning back seeing that Mir was staring at me smiling too.
