I stared out the window wondering how the fuck did everything get turned upside down. Shit was just cool a day ago and now Tez and my life were in danger.

"What the fuck you mean niggas after my head?" Tez semi yelled entering the condo we had rented downtown.

"Our heads nigga. Yo ass had to beat that nigga's ass in fucking Miami and now they got niggas looking for us and we don't know who they are or just how dangerous. I just know that we got a 2Mil bounty on our heads" I told him turning my head a little so I could see him

"Fuck"He yelled running his hands down his face. "All cause a nigga got tough and got his shit rocked" He turned around hitting the wall

I turned my head back out the window staring at the busy city streets.

"What we gonna do?" He asked

"Fuck ya'll niggas do?" Shooter yelled walking in with Tony and Frankie behind him

"Yeah what ya'll dumb asses do?" Tony asked closing the door behind him

"Man Cuz. This nigga got buck with me and I beat his ass so apparently he put a damn bounty on our fucking head" Tez explained

I kept quiet looking out the window counting the money I had in my hand



"Ya'll know these fools names or some?" Frankie asked

"Marco is all I know"

"Marco?" Tony said to himself a few times I'm guessing trying to remember " Tall buff dude with his whole body tattooed? A big ass 14 tatted on his head?" He asked

"Yeah that's him. You know him?"

"He's our enemies brother"Frankie laughed "Dude been trying to take us out for a minute but since no one knows what we look like he don't even know how to or where to start"

"Yeah but now they know what these two niggas look like and if they find out they related to us it's over with. They dead niggas" Shooter said making me chuckle shaking my head not believing what the fuck we got ourselves into "I say we get our best weapons and we run up on them niggas blowing shit" He rubbed his hands together smirking

"Nah we gotta think shit through because we not in no position to risk our lives blindly. We got Nahla to think about. If we get ourselves killed then what's gonna be of her? We can't do that to her" Tez shook his head and I agreed with him "She's already lost too many people we can't add that to the list cause we out here being reckless and not thinking"

Right now every move we made we had to think it through because one wrong move and either we put her at risk too or leave her without brothers. And neither was an option for us.

"Nah we can't have that"Tony shook his heads "Pack ya'll shit. Ya'll gonna stay with our uncle in Mexico. Nobody would think about looking there and we got our strongest men out there. Nobody getting to ya'll without a blood bath" He told us

"What about Nahla? We can't tell her this shit and have her worry. And moving her with us ain't smart either" Tez said looking at me

"We gotta leave her at granny crib"I shrugged "Tell her we got some business out of town or some and hope they don't find her"

"Nah we got her. We'll take turns staying at yo crib with her. Nobody knows about us and I doubt they smart enough to figure out about her. Ya'll go and stay there until we come up with a plan to take them out. Trust me nobody's touching a hair on Nahla's head I put that on my life"Tony said

Nahla Reese

I took a deep breath exhaling as I sat in the lunch room looking around. It felt weird not having Mir here with me. It's been three weeks already and each day I feel like it's getting harder and harder for me to be without him. I really lost my best friend and sometimes I feel like I can't function but I'm trying.

"Why you look so down buttercup?" Wooski asked coming over to the table putting his tray down

"I'm just tired" I looked at him giving him a weak smile

"She miss her nigga that's all"24 Laughed joining us

"Just face time the nigga" Duckio added

I ain't even see him walk up. This was when I hated having only guy friends because they didn't understand how I was feeling. To them everything was a joke. I really wish shit wouldn't have ended the way it did with Paris cause she was my only female friend.

Every time I tried to make female friends they always ended up on some sneak shit or jealous and I always ended up beating they ass. After a while I just gave up and accepted the fact that I was only meant to have male friends.

I think my brothers accepted that fact too cause they stopped pressuring me to get female friends.

"Don't listen to these dummies" Wooski pulled me into a hug "You'll be with him again"

"Thank you wooski" I hugged him back smiling "Where's Blast?" I asked looking around seeing he wasn't here

"Got sent to the dean's office"24 laughed

"For what?" I asked

"Telling a sub her pussy stank" Duckio said making me laugh

"All ya'll horrible" I shook my head grabbing a bag of chip opening it

"Don't say ya'll cause I ain't even do shit" 24 put his hands up

"Nigga you just got back from suspension" Duckio told him

"Wasn't my fault"He shrugged

"Nothings ever your fault" I rolled my eyes shaking my head

"What you on for today?" Wooski asked me changing the subject

"I don't know. Probably just lay in bed or hang with Dre and Tez" I ate a chip

"Come with us"

"Where ya'll going?"I asked them

"We gonna help Leek move into his new crib today" Wooski said

"He got a new house?"

"Yeah. The social worker told him that if he wanted Anaya back he needed a place of his own and not one where his crack head OG overdosed" He said

"I really hope they give him custody man. I can't imagine what they both going through"

I hated that he had to go through that especially alone because he was so embarrassed. I wish he would've trusted us so we could've helped them sooner but I understand why he kept it a secret. It's not easy opening up to people about them type of things because you never know how they'll react.

"So you down?"

"Yeah just gotta tell Tez and Dre so they don't come pick me up" I told them as the bell rang letting us know lunch was over.

We all gathered our things walking to the trash throwing everything away before heading to our last classes of the day.

I was hoping that the rest of the day went drama free because I wasn't in the mood for no bs.

Getting to my Physics class I took a seat pulling my phone out texting my brothers about my after school plans.

Frowning I locked my phone putting it in my back pocket turning my attention to the teacher who had just walked in.

The rest of the day went in blur because my mind kept going back to what could they possibly want to talk to me about.

I walked to my locker where I was met with the guys

"Why you look scared?" 24 asked

"Cause I asked my brothers if I could hang out with ya'll and they said no cause we needed to talk. And I don't know why but something don't feel right"I told them opening my locker

"Don't overthink it. They probably gonna talk to you about a car or some"Duckio shrugged

"Yeah you right. Well ya'll go ahead and I'll meet ya'll after I talk with them" I grabbed my bookbag closing it.

"Ight text us if you need anything and we'll slide on you after" Wooski said hugging me followed by 24 and Duckio

"I will! And ya'll please be safe!"

"We got you" They said walking away leaving me alone in the hallway

Shaking my head I walked down the hall and out the front door looking for their car. I soon spotted it with Dre and Tez leaning against it.

I made my way to them smiling

"Hey lady bug" Tez hugged me kissing the top of my head like he always did

"Hey!" I hugged him back before giving Dre a hug too then getting in the car

"How was school?" Dre asked pulling off

"It was okay. None interesting. What ya'll do today?"

"Been working all day" Tez said.

I wanted to ask them what they wanted to talk about but knew they wasn't gonna say none until we got home so I left it alone.

I took my phone out texting Mir. I haven't talked to him since yesterday morning and I was missing him

I miss you.

Mir: I miss you more. How was school?

Smiling I was happy that he actually texted back because I honestly didn't think he would.

School was school🤷🏽‍♀️Can't wait to be done with it. How's your day?

Mir👩🏽‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽💘: I can't either so I can fly yo fine ass out here with me😏And It's been busy. Been recording all day.

I felt the car come to a stop and seen we were home already. I locked my phone putting it in my pocket grabbing my book bag as Tez opened the door for me. I got out the car and he took my bag as he closed the door behind me. I walked up the pathway to the front door unlocking it walking in.

"Savage" I semi yelled seeing her coming out the kitchen

"Nahla"She yelled back opening her arms for a hug "These two knuckleheads ain't do none to you right?" she mugged them making me laugh

"Nah they was good"I pulled away "But what is it that ya'll wanted to talk to me about?" I turned to face my brothers

"We gotta go out of town for business. We told Tony and them and they said they'll stay with you to keep an eye on you in case you need anything. We gonna leave you enough money so you can buy food and whatever else you might need" Tez said

"Business? I thought ya'll was done with that shit" I told them shaking my head

"Nahla it's not even that type of business. We tryna start companies and we heard opening one in a different country was the way to go"Dre said "Everything's gonna be good"

"How long ya'll gonna be gone for?" I asked

Honestly ever since everything that went down with Tee I hated being away from my brothers. I didn't feel safe If they weren't in the same city or state as me. So finding out they not even gonna be in the same country was triggering my anxiety

"We don't know yet but we promise we won't be gone long" Tez came up to me hugging me

I hugged him as tight as I could because something in me wasn't feeling right. It was a strong feeling that I couldn't shake.

I stared at my phone for a few waiting for a response but didn't get any. She probably got busy. I put my phone down getting up walking over to the booth.

"Ready for another take?" My producer asked

"Yeah. Let's finish up that verse on Finer things" I told him walking into the booth getting situated

The beat started playing and soon I got lost into the music.

I finished up the first hanging the headphones up walking out the booth.

"Look at my brother!" Lani said walking in with some food "Mom said don't be starving yourself" She handed me the bag of Chick fil a

"Appreciate it broski!" I took the bag from her "Aye play that shit back" I took a seat

Listening to the song I pay attention to make sure I ain't wanna change none

"Is this the one you filming a video for?" Lani asked

"Yeah. I talked to the team and we gonna be filming back in the Chi" I told her taking a bite of my burger

"Aw shit we get to go back home" She did her little dance "You telling Nahla?"

"Nah I'll surprise her"
