A Year Later

I was doing the finishing touches on my makeup when the photoshoot director walked in to my dressing room

"Are you almost ready?"She asked taking a look at my makeup "Wow your makeup looks gorgeous! You know we need a make up artist too! We'll pay you extra"

"Really?"I questioned because aside from being a model make up was also one of my passions. So being able to get paid to do make up was another dream come true

"Yes! So that means that even when you don't have a shoot you can still travel with us"She smiled but I needed to talk it over with my brother's first

"Let me talk it over with my team and I'll get back to you"I told her and she nodded her head walking out leaving me to finish my make up.

"Knock knock"Tez said knocking on the door walking in followed by Dre,Tony,Frankie and Savage.

I was so happy that Savage agreed to manage me because I don't know what I would do being the only girl with these over protective men

"You look beautiful princess"Tony smiled as he admired my make up "I don't know how ya'll have the patience to sit there for hours drawing on ya'll face"He picked up an eyebrow pencil.

"It's not drawing Tony"I laughed shaking my head taking a good look at myself making sure my makeup was perfect before putting it away

"Yeah bro it's called make up not drawing"Dre laughed teasing Tony "You gonna get dressed?"He asked looking at the bathing suit I had on

"I am dressed"I looked at down at the bathing suit then up at them watching their facial expressions change instantly

"Oh hell no"Dre shook his head "Nah we out of here.Got us fucked up if they think you about to be modeling naked"

"Stop being over dramatic"Savage rolled her eyes "She looks perfect"She smiled at me fixing my top "Come on let's go"She dragged me out the room before any of them could protest "How you feeling?"

"Honestly?"I asked and she nodded her head "I'm nervous as fuck. This is the biggest photoshoot I've ever done and I don't want to mess it up"

"Nahla"Savage stopped walking grabbing my arm making me turn to her "You've been doing this for over a year now! And each and every time you kill it"She smiled at me "So relax because today's not going to be any different"

"Okay"I took a few deep breaths exhaling feeling my anxiety slowly easing up "I'm ready"I nodded my head as I started walking towards the entrance of the beach house

"Go get settled while I go make sure these niggas done throwing their tantrums" Savage laughed walking back to my dressing room.

Taking another deep breath I made my way out the house stopping in my tracks not believing what I seeing. Mir was outside sitting on a car



Once Mir noticed me his face brighten up and his lips began forming into a smile causing me to smile back as I made my way towards him.

"What are you doing here? Thought you had a concert in LA tonight"I asked him once I was close enough for him to hear me

"I do but I couldn't miss the biggest modeling gig of your career" Mir pulled me into a hug giving me a few kisses before letting me go "You ready?"

"I am now"I admitted. Having Mir here with me honestly made me feel a sense of relieve. "Don't you have rehearsals?"

"Don't worry about me ight"He kissed my forehead "I have everything under control. You just worry about killing it so I can brag about my girl"He smirked making me laugh

Ever since the night of the album release party Mir had really stepped up and prove to me that he was willing to do whatever it took to make things work between us.

"Oh and I got you these"He walked over to the passenger side of the car opening it up revealing the beautiful bouquet of roses



"Mir these are beautiful"I smiled taking them from him smelling them "You really didn't have to but thank you"I kissed his cheek

"You don't have to thank me for anything. You deserve everything now go kill it"He smacked my ass giving me a push towards the beach where we were shooting.

"Can you hold these for me?"I gave him the roses back because I didn't want them to get ruined on set.

6 hours later

"And that's a wrap"The director yelled just as I finished the last photo and man was I happy to hear those words because I was honestly exhausted

"You did good Nahla"Savage squealed jogging over to me giving me a hug "You looked like a natural out there girl!"

"Thank you! After I got comfortable with all the cameras it became easy for me"I slid on my robe walking over to where the rest of the family was waiting at.

"Damn Nana you looked beautiful out there"Wooski smiled pulling me into a hug followed by Blast,Duckio and 24

"When did you guys get here?"

"A few minutes after you started. We wanted to support you so Polo flew us out so we could be here for you"24 Shrugged

"I love you guys"I couldn't help but to smile again because honestly for the first time in a very long time I was actually happy.

"Come on let's see the pictures"Savage said walking over to the camera man who was going through all the pictures that were taken.

"Damn Nahla these fire"Duckio pointed at what I'm guessing were his favorite from the shoot "You a natural"

"Thank you"I smiled looking at them "These came out good"I pointed at the few that I liked







"Hell no"Tez and Dre said in unison shaking their heads making me laugh. I loved how protective they were of me even if they did too much sometimes.

"Stop she looks amazing"Savage playfully pushed them "Good job baby girl"

"Well that wraps up todays shoot! Thank you all for coming and we will stay in touch"The director said dismissing us

We gathered my belongings making our way back to the house. I couldn't wait to get changed so I could go home eat some and lay down in my bed. Walking in I headed towards my dressing room while everyone besides Mir waited for me in the seated area

"How you feeling now that its over?"Mir asked as he locked the door taking a seat on the couch that I had in here.

"Relieved. I love being able to model but man it gets exhausting"I took off the bathing suit top sliding my bra on "Having to stand for hours and then sometimes we have to hold the same pose for up to 30 minutes like we some mannequins" I slid on my jeans going over to the vanity so I could wipe off some of the makeup I had on.

"You know I missed you?"Mir came over wrapping his arms around my waist kissing my neck earning a small moan

"I missed you too"I turned around giving him a kiss but he decided to take it far and turn a simple kiss into a whole make out session "Mir stop"I laughed pushing him away because I knew we couldn't go any further right now

"I can't help it"Mir shrugged "You so fine I can't keep my hands off of you"He kissed me again "Come back to LA with me tonight"

"You want me to fly back to LA with you?"

"Yes Nahla. I want you to come to my show and then we can go back to my house and I can finally sleep next to you"He gave me that look that made it hard for me to say no to "You know the only time I get good sleep is when I'm next to you"

"Mir you've been sleeping pretty good without me"I laughed putting everything into my suitcase

"You really want to believe that because I can assure you that I haven't been sleeping well without you"He got up getting my suitcase "Besides you've never been to one of my shows"

He was right. Mir had been to a few of my modeling gigs but I have yet to attend any of his concerts. I guess I never thought he wanted me there so I just skipped out on them.

"Never thought you wanted me there"I shrugged unlocking and opening the door walking out with him right behind me "But if you want me to go then I'll go"I smiled before getting interrupted

"About fucking time. Was getting ready to run in that bitch"Dre said walking over to us "You ready to go?"He asked me

"Uh actually I'm going to LA with Mir. He wants me to attend his concert tonight"

"Hell no"Dre shook his head "Nah you ain't going got me fucked up"

"Nigga let her go and have fun"Tez punched Dre's arm coming over to me "What time you leaving?"He looked from me to Mir

"I was trying to leave right now so I could get her some to eat before taking off"Mir shrugged looking at me making sure I was okay with his plan which I was.

"You really going to let her fly across country by herself?"Dre questioned Tez "Ain't no way"He shook his head. I know that Dre was scared and I mean he had every right to be. I was kidnapped and damn near shot so It was understandable

"She's not going alone Dre. She's going with Mir,Duckio,Blast,24 and Wooski! They've proved that they won't let nothing happen to her"Savage placed her hand on his chest causing him to look down at her "She can handle herself"

Taking a deep breath Dre looked around at everyone in the room. Guess he was contemplated his answer.

"You can go"He said mugging Savage and Tez which made me laugh "But you better keep us updated!"

"I will"I hugged him "I love you"I smiled up at him causing his mug to slowly turn into a smile even though I knew he didn't want to smile

"I love you too kid. More than you'll ever know"He hugged me tighter kissing the top of my head "Now get out of here before I change my mind"He said making me laugh

"I love you"I told Tez as I gave him a hug too "I'll call you and keep you updated too"I assured him as I walked towards the door

"Aye Polo"I heard Tony yell out causing us to stop in our tracks turning back to face him "Better take good care of my cousin. If I find out you hurt her or made her cry that's yo life and this time I ain't stopping for nobody. Take care of her with yo life"

"Don't have to worry about that Tony. I ain't letting nothing happen to her. She's my life"Mir turned to me sending a smile my way

"One thing I can never get used to is flying"I said walking into the restaurant. We decided not to get anything to eat back in Miami so that we could be here in LA on time

"Yeah it be tiring my ass out more than the shows do"Mir agreed leading me towards a table pulling out a chair for me "You know what you in the mood for?"He asked as he took a seat in front of me

"I kind of want a steak but then again I kind of want a BLT club"My mouth watered just imagining the food. I was starving and couldn't wait to finally smash on some good food.

"Get both with yo fat ass"Mir laughed looking at the menu "Think I want the lobster tail with a ribeye"

"But I'm the fat ass right?"I laughed shaking my head "But that sounds good too"I whined because I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted

"Hey my name is Teresa and I will be your waiter today"The waitress spoke taking out her note pad "Can I get you guys started with some drinks?"

"Can I get the mango strawberry lemonade?" I asked looking over making sure there was nothing else I wanted "And a glass of water please?"

"Sure can"The waitress smiled writing down my order before turning her attention towards Mir who was still looking at the menu

"I'll take a sprite"

"Are you guys ready to order or still a few minutes?"She asked looking between me and Mir trying to see who would speak up first

"Guess I'm ready"I shrugged "I'll take the ribeye with a lobster tail. Can I get mash potatoes and a street corn?"I turned to look at her. she nodded her head writing it down "And a BLT club"I smiled at Mir who chuckled shaking his head

Mir placed his order handing the waitress our menus as he leaned back in the seat smirking at me

"What you smirking at?"I raised my eyebrow questioning him

"You"He raised his eyebrow as well "You so beautiful man"He shook his head pulling out his phone

"What you doing?"

"You'll see"He smiled typing away on his phone not even looking my direction no more. A few seconds later my phone lit up with a notification.

"What did you do!?"I unlocked my phone seeing that the notification was from instagram. Clicking on the notification I seen it took me to Mir's page and soon my face popped up. "Should've known"I laughed reading the caption.

I couldn't help but to blush feeling butterflies in my stomach as I read the caption. This man was making me fall in love with him all over again

"You're going to make me your wife?"I questioned trying to stop myself from smiling

"You're already my wife but shit if you want we can make this thing official right now. I'm not joking when I say I want to spend the rest of my life with you Nahla but I know we still young and got a lot of shit to figure out but one thing I know for sure is that I don't want to do this shit without you"He grabbed my hand interwinding our fingers together "I mean it when I say you're my life"

"You're about to make me cry"I chuckled "Mir I don't want to do this without you either. This past year you've made me fall in love with you all over again and this time deeper. We are young but I have no doubt that in the future I will gladly take your last name"I got up taking a seat next to him giving him a kiss

"We in this forever girl. No backing out"
