Two years later

I was making my way through Costco with Wooski. We came to get some of the household items that Mir needed. I liked buying the bigger size because they lasted longer and saved money in the long run.

Wooski grabbed some gummies from the shelf throwing them into the cart "You know I still hate grocery shopping"

I chuckled adding two boxes of granola bars into the cart "I don't think anybody likes grocery shopping"I grabbed a box of cookies " Only time I really ever go to the store is when I'm here in LA with Mir because you know how he is with the whole people knowing where he lives situation"Mir didn't feel right with strangers knowing where he lives so I can't even order door dash for myself

"So don't come over his crib no more and you won't be having this problem"Wooski shrugged grabbing a sample of chicken from the lady "You suffering because you want"He ate the piece of chicken

I rolled my eyes at him ignoring what he said going down the cereal Aisle. I was looking at all the cereal they had debating on which ones I should get. Grabbing a box of cinnamon toast crunch for Mir I threw it in the cart when my phone began ringing. Reaching into my purse I grabbed my phone seeing that it was Mir who was facetiming me. Sliding my finger across the screen I answered the call waiting for it to connect



Mir popped up on the screen smiling "You so beautiful"He said before eating a spoonful of cereal "Where yo ass at though cause I got home and you wasn't here"

I smiled feeling my cheeks getting red "I came to Costco to get some stuff for the house that I seen you was running out of it.

"Ouu get come more Cinnamon Toast Crunch! We just ran out"He continued to eat his cereal "But who you with cause I told you I don't like you going anywhere by yourself"He frowned

I grabbed the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch that I had just thrown in showing him "Knew you were going to be asking for it"I laughed throwing it back in "I'm not alone I'm with Wooski"I told him easing his nerves "You want me to get anything else though? I already got you Waffles,Hot pockets and Pizza rolls"

Jamir smiled into the camera "Damn my wifey know what I like"He joked almost choking on his cereal "Fuck" he hit his chest

I laughed "See keep playing"I exited out the Aisle trying to find where Wooski went because he had disappeared

"Damn a nigga almost died "Mir coughed "But get some fruit snacks,chips and them big jugs of orange juice"

Flipping my camera I showed him the cart filled with goodies "I knew you were going to be asking for that"I laughed flipping the camera back "But I'll see you in a bit.I have to go find your friend"I scanned the store trying to see if I could see him.

"You better use my card to buy all that shit Nahla"He mugged me because he knew that I didn't like using his money "I ain't playing. I'm beating yo ass if you use your own"

I chuckled shaking my head "I promise to max out your card"I laughed walking towards the register

"Max that hoe I don't care"Mir shrugged putting his bowl down "That's your money too so do what you want with it but hurry home! I miss you"

I couldn't help but smile wide because one thing Mir hated was when I used my own anything "I miss you too! Let me just find your friend and I'll be there"I walked down a couple more Aisle looking to see if I could spot Wooski but nothing hanging up the phone.

I made my way towards the register getting ready to call Wooski when he appeared out of nowhere with his cart packed with all types of shit. "Who paying for all that?"I questioned because he had mentioned that he didn't have his wallet

Wooski looked at his cart then at me "You who else? Half this shit yours anyways"He shrugged throwing in some peanuts

"Yeah nigga and I'm paying for my shit"I walked towards the cash registers getting in the first line "You on your own with yours" I shrugged starting to add things to the conveyer belt

"You cold"Wooski shook his head "You really going to do your best friend like that?"He raised his eyebrow

I laughed "Who said your my best friend?"I joked watching his facial expressions change

"Mir don't count as your best friend no more cause you dating and I don't see you calling any of the other guys when you need some or bored so yes motherfucker I'm your best friend"He added his things to the belt

I laughed not even bothering in fighting with him anymore. I paid for everything walking out the store towards Mir's Rolls Royce.

I pulled into Mir's driveway parking the car. I turned it off taking the keys out of the ignition and sliding them into my purse.

Getting out the car I walked towards the trunk followed by Wooski. Next to doing the shopping I also hated unloading the groceries.

Wooski opened the trunk door "So you going to tell him now or?"He questioned grabbing the first bags he seen

I sighed grabbing bags as well "I don't even know"I shook my head walking towards the door where I was met by Mir who quickly grabbed the bags from me

"Wooski and I got the rest"Mir walked into the house taking the bags straight to the kitchen "Is there a lot of bags?"He placed the ones in his hand on the counter

"Let's just say you going to need to do a couple of trips"I chuckled as Wooski walked in damn near falling because he had over did himself with the bags

Mir shook his head laughing "I don't even want to know how much ya'll spent"He began walking towards the door.

I began putting everything away so that we could finish quickly. I grabbed the pack of paper towels walking into the hallway opening the hallway closet "What the fuck"I said to myself seeing that it was a mess "I'm going to need to organize this if I'm going to make everything fit" Shaking my head I got to work because this alone was going to take me at least an hour.

It was two hours later I had finally finished putting all the groceries away. Taking a deep breath I grabbed my purse making my way up the stairs towards Mir's bedroom. Walking in I locked the door placing my bag on the bed. I pulled out my phone seeing that Savage was facetiming me. Sliding my finger across the screen I waited for the call to connect.



"Little girl why the fuck haven't I heard from you in almost three days?"Savage automatically questioned me once the call connected

I laughed "I'm sorry! I've been gone with Mir to his out of town shows and we barely got back last night"Mir had dragged me with him to his last two shows so I hadn't really had time to talk to anyone "But I was going to call you today"

She rolled her eyes "Mhm sure you were! Have your brothers out here getting ready to book a flight out there"

I shook my head because knowing my brothers they would most definitely be at Mir's front door "They so dramatic" I said as I grabbed the papers out of my purse reading them over again. "You around them now?"

Staring at the papers I couldn't believe that I was pregnant. 3 months to be exact and I didn't know how to feel

Savage got up from her seat walking out the room I'm guessing away from Dre. "What's up?"She asked taking a seat "You brother is sleep so he won't hear anything"

"I went to the doctor today and I'm 3 months pregnant" Even saying that out loud felt unreal. Like I know that I always wanted to be a mother but I don't know if this is the right time for it.

Savage smiled wide "You serious?"She asked and I nodded my head "My baby is having a baby"She squealed "But why don't you look excited?"

I sighed trying to stop the tears from falling "Because I'm scared Savage. Like what if Mir doesn't want it?"

Savage frowned "Why wouldn't Mir want a child with you? I thought he told you before he wanted to start a family with you"

"He did but later on in life you know when we're married and settled. He's still a rising star starting to take off so who knows how life will be for him in the next year or so. And then you have my career that is going amazing too"I really wanted to have a child with Mir but I honestly didn't know if this would be the perfect time

"Listen Nahla with a career like the one you and Polo have there will never be the perfect time because you guys will always be growing but if you really don't want this baby then I support you and your decision"

"I do want this baby. I don't think I have the heart to kill it even if it's barely forming but I don't know how Mir is going to react" I didn't think that Mir would leave me and his child but then again I didn't think he would do a lot of the things he's done in the past

"Girl fuck Polo if he doesn't want the child. You have a whole army behind you ready to support you in whatever way we can. Besides you have your own money and career so you don't need no man"She scoffed "But before you make an impulsive decision talk to Mir and see what he says. And if he if doesn't want the child then I want you on the next flight out to Chicago and I will have your brothers and cousins on the next flight out there"She said making me laugh because I know she would.

"I love you"I laughed feeling a little bit better after our conversation. It was weird how Savage and I were close in age yet she felt like a mother figure to me. Her and Dre filled the role of my parents and I honestly appreciate them so much for it.

"I love you more! Now go talk to him and let me know If I have to kill him"She smiled hanging up.

Grabbing the papers along with the sonogram pictures off the bed I took a deep breath heading over to the door. Unlocking it I walked out heading down the stairs and into the living room.

Taking a seat next to him I leaned my head on his shoulder "What you doing?"I asked staring at the tv seeing that they were playing Call of Duty.

Mir looked over at me Kissing my forehead "Playing COD. You good?"He questioned turning his attention back to the tv

I sat up straight "You think you can pause the game for me real quick?"I asked looking over at Wooski letting him know that it was time.

Wooski took off his head set placing it on the coffee table "Ima head to the bathroom I'll be back"He sent me a smile telling to go for it as he exited out the living room

Mir paused the game taking off his set as well turning his attention towards me "Wassup? Everything okay?"

I nodded my head passing him the sonogram picture watching him analyze it "I went to the doctor today"I passed him the paperwork that said I was pregnant "And found this out"

A smile formed on his face as he slowly turned his head in my direction "You dead ass right now? Like no bullshit?"He asked and I smiled nodding

Mir hopped up from the couch "Ima be a fucking dad"He screamed running around the living room making my heart melt at his reaction "Hell yeah"He came over to me pulling me up from the couch kissing me "We having a baby"He put his forehead against mine

I couldn't help but smile wide as tears began falling down "We having a baby"I was so overjoyed at the moment that all my fears had disappeared.
