Tossing and turning in my bed, I was awakened by my older sister swinging my door open, blabbing her mouth. "Girl, it would help if you would wake up always sleeping all-day. What are you going to do, sleep your life away?".

Yes, I said only to myself, knowing she would make a whole speech about "life's too short." As if I care, I blankly stared at her, waiting to hear what she came into my room for. "Girl, fix your face anyways. I'm bout to go to the gas station with Chyna."

"Okay, what they got to do with me, sage?" I said.

"That means get up the hell; you need to get out the house."

"Girl, get out of my room," I said, pulling the warm, freshly washed covers on top of my body. Instantly sage snatched the covers off her little sister's body, letting the cold afternoon air engulf her as she shivered slightly.

"Bro, I hate you," I said as I hopped up out of my queen-sized bed, heading to my closet. As I looked through my wardrobe, I saw nothing that struck my eye; It's like I have clothes but not outfits. Grabbing something utterly different than I had in mind, I walked to my bathroom, going to brush my teeth and do my skincare. After brushing my teeth, I quickly looked at my braces in the mirror, admiring them and my beauty.

"I'm so fire; I don't understand why I'm single." Going to Instagram, I began taking pictures soon I got interrupted by my obnoxious sister yelling, telling me to come on. Grabbing my purse, I walked downstairs quickly, thinking to myself how lovely my bed is; I have a real obsession with sleep, and honestly, most people find it concerning, but I don't care.

Opening the front door, The bipolar cold Florida air smacked me in my face. Shivering my teeth, I locked the door before hurrying to the car; opening the door; I spotted my sister's best friend "hey, Chyna, I thought we were going to have to come to get you," I said.

"Nah, your sis picked me up earlier this morning," she said while sage revved up her engine to her Mercedes-Benz.

"I can't wait to get my car, y'all never gone see me at home" (same sis, same๐Ÿ˜ฉ-taee)

"Shut up. You barely leave the house; what makes you think you bout to go everywhere," sage said while pulling out of our driveway. "Hoe, you don't know me," I said, irritated.

"I've known you for 17 years. I think I've known you long enough," sage sarcastically said, giving me a tight lip smile in the rearview mirror. The now chuckling Chyna mumbled, "yall funny as fuck". Deciding to drown out Chyna's loud laughter and Sage's annoying remarks, I got on Instagram, choosing to post myself on my story.

Not even nearly 10 minutes later, I felt my phone buzz indicating I was receiving notifications; opening my phone, I looked at the reports already, knowing how my dm's were going to look. Deciding to text at least someone back, I clicked on a random dm examining somebody's message.

Exiting the thread, we finally reached the gas station. Getting outside the car, I spotted multiple men chatting near the door. Walking up to the door, I shyly whispered "excuse me" to the men.

"Damn, she fine." "Word 2." I heard while walking into the gas station. (If you're not feeling cute, go to a gas station; those niggas will boost your head up). Roaming the gas station, I looked for my snacks; after finding my snacks, I headed to the front counter to pay for my stuff. Ringing up my snacks, I heard a lot of chattering in the back of the store.

"Listen, peewee, that hoe smelt like bounce that ass on a Monday."

"Why Monday?"

"Cause I don't like Monday nigga, the fuck is this; a questionnaire?"

"Look at you using big words."

"Fuck up," the boy with long silky hair and smooth skin said.

I chuckled, trying to not draw attention to myself. "7.63," the cashier said; reaching into my pocket, I saw money smackdown on the counter, making me rapidly turn my head. "I'll pay," a tall figure said, fixating my eyes on him; I saw his freshly threaded eyebrows with a slit and his brown eyes. "Thank you," I said, walking out, surprised that he didn't ask for anything after the friendly gesture.

Walking to the car, I saw my sister with an annoyed look on her face that she always had; therefore, I didn't bother to ask what was wrong. Opening the door, I heard the infamous ๐’๐”๐Œ๐Œ๐„๐‘ ๐–๐€๐‹๐Š๐„๐‘- ๐‘ก๐‘œ๐‘›๐‘–๐‘”โ„Ž๐‘ก playing, instantly bobbing my head. I glanced out the window as my sister drove off; looking down at my phone, I see my best friend calling; immediately answering, I heard her voice. "Where you at, homebody?"

"Out, with Sage and Chy," I said.

"Ask Sage can she come to pick me up."

Sage, noisy behind, already listening to our conversation, responded yes.

"Ight we're going to be there in 5."

Hanging up, we drove to my best friend's house, which wasn't far from the gas station we were at. Arriving in her neighborhood, I spotted many kids playing outside, riding their bikes, and overall enjoying life. Pulling into her driveway, she shortly came out and opened the car door; not being rude, she spoke to everyone in the car and after the vehicle fell into a comfortable silence letting only the music and blasting A/C be heard.

After sitting in silence for a minute, Sage turns down the radio, speaking, "we finna go to my friend's house for a min."

"What fawkin friend?!" I said.

"Jay," Sage said while smirking and looking back at me.

"My dawg jay?" I said.

"Yes," Sage said, laughing.

"Oh, let's ride," zi'air said (Kenya's best friend's name is zi'air).

Me and Zi'air love Jay specifically because he's our weed man.

Reaching jay's house, I noticed my sister trying to "fix" herself up. "Girl, you already look good; let's go," I said.

"Awww, thank you," sage said.

"Mhm," I mumbled, walking up to the glass door; Jay lived in a gated community for his safety. He had many people trying to kill him; he wasn't pussy; he played it smart, which I applauded him for. After waiting at the door for ๐Ÿฎ ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐˜‚๐˜๐—ฒ๐˜€ jay finally swung the door open; entering the house, we walked directly walked to the living room.

"How y'all been, felt like I ain't seen y'all in a month," jay said, sitting on the couch, continuing to roll his blunt.

"Nigga you saw us yesterday when you were running from the cops," I said.

"Oh, that was you cheering me on? I felt like I was in a marathon," he said.

Laughing, Jay was receiving an incoming call, answering a somewhat familiar voice was heard on the phone.

"What's the code nigga"

"3536," jay said, hanging up.

Not too long after, his front door opened to reveal the faces of the two men who were arguing at the gas station and the man who paid for my snacks. Instantly putting my head down into my phone, I heard jay say something, "these my dumbass homeboy's peewee, manman, Murda meet Kenya, china, sage, zi'air.

"That's ole' girl from the gas station," manman said.

The one who paid for my things walked to the other end of the couch. Music blasted throughout the large house.

"Yall trying to hit this with me," jay said.

Everyone said yes except Murda and me; Murda had his weed; therefore, he began rolling his blunt. Glancing at him, I saw him licking the blunt; before I could take my eyes off him, he gazed at me before uttering to me.

"If you want me to lick you like this, then just say that," he said.

"And do," I said.

Shaking his head and chuckling, he sparked up his blunt.

Seeing murda try to offer his blunt to me caused me to grab the blunt and raise it to my mouth before exhaling it, doing a ghost. Arriving home, I spotted my mom's car in the driveway. Getting out, I spotted my mom in the kitchen grabbing water, hinting that she just got home. I walked up to her; I hugged her.

"Hey, mommy," me and sage said.

"Hey, baby."

"Hey, momma," zi'air and Chyna said.

Zi'air and Chyna acted as if my mom was theirs.

Going upstairs, we all got ready for the party. Which took us about ๐Ÿฏ ๐—ต๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฟ๐˜€ since there were 4 of us.

"Come take my picture, Kenya," zi'air said.
