I felt the adrenaline and blood rush through my body as I ran into the hospital. My eyes scanned rapidly over the room, finally spotting the front desk. I rushed over to the desk, and the nurse looked up from the computer.

"How may I help you?"

"I'm looking for Sayori, S-A-Y-O-R-I Brown."

The lady typed around on the computer before reading something, "Ok, she's in room 207 right down that hall."

I rushed down the hall, looking at room numbers, finally finding hers.

I looked at the bed and saw her surrounded by wires and tubes. Her face was scratched up, and she had bruises on her face and body.

I felt my eyes sting as I stared at her. I took a seat in the chair next to her and closed my eyes.

Taking in a deep breath, I tried to stop myself from crying. I had to be strong for her, but I'm unsure how.

A knock at the door caused me to look up and see a nurse.

"Hi, are you family?" I nodded, "Ok, we're just monitoring her right now before surgery. We're hoping she wakes up soon."

"Do you have an estimated time?" I asked feeling somewhat relieved.

"Unfortunately sir we don't know it's not really predictable."

Just then I felt Sayori's hand twitch in mine. I looked at her face and saw her eyes were still closed as her face looked distressed.

"Oh, it looks like she's waking up. I'll go get a doctor." she left the room and once she left, Sayori's monitors started going crazy.

Doctors rushed into the room surrounding her. I stood by the wall stuck and not processing what was happening.

"Come on. Stay awake. Stay with us." one doctor said performing CPR.

With no response, they started getting the paddles and shocked her. "Fight, come on. Fight it."

I found myself whispering for God to help as the monitors slowed down. Sayori's eyes snapped open.

"She's awake!" one of the doctors said, and as soon as that was said, her eyes snapped back shut.

"Dammit!" one of the doctors exclaimed.

"What happened?" I asked.

"She's unfortunately back in the coma. She's a fighter though. We're going to take her into surgery and go from there sir, you can wait in the waiting room." the same doctor said, wheeling her out.

My head dropped as I made my way to the waiting room. I sat in the chair with my head in my hands, whispering prayers. I could feel my faith running out but I kept up with the prayers trying to have hope.

Dear God, Sayori is in your hands.

"Excuse me, you're here for Sayori Brown, correct?" I looked up to see a nurse and I nodded.

"Ok, our lab results have come back. Did you know she was with child?"

"She's pregnant?"

"Yes sir, 4 almost 5 months along."

"Is the baby okay?" I stressed, rubbing my hand down my face.

"We monitored, and the baby appears to be okay, and we will do everything we can to make sure the baby remains safe. I will come back with another update after the surgery." and with that, she disappeared, making me lose myself in my thoughts again.
