"Kaiden baby look" Kennedy said looking back at Kaiden as the light turned red.

"If you dont sit down in that dang booster seat and be still, we gonna have some problems before you go to Pre school" She said looking Kaiden dead in his eyes and turned back around.

"I don't wanna go anyway" Kaiden pouted.

"Well you're going, you know Abuela dont play that" Kennedy said speeding off.

"Oh no ma'am I should of drove my car cse you trynna shorten our lives up in hea" I said while putting on my seat belt.

She gave me a blank stare.

"Just pray" she said before speeding up.

"Way ahead of you" I said shaking my head.

Kennedy pulled up in our school parking lot after dropping Kaiden off.

"We shall not speak on what happened this weekend, Kymani doesn't want anyone to know we were there" I rolled my eyes getting out of Kennedys car.

*P.S.A..school was out Monday&Tuesday*

"Truu but umm some people might already know considering we were on a whole lotta folks stories that night" Kennedy said then closed and locked her car doors.

"You right..and our ass wasn't even supposed to be there but I just hope people dont come up to me talkin about cse thats really gone irritate me" I shrugged.

We walked in the building and people started looking and whispering.

Got damn it-

"Just keep walking" Kennedy shook her head.

"Ion like folks staring at me" I scrunched my face up.

"Cse I'll give them sum to stare at" I rolled my eyes.

We made it to our lockers, got our things for 1st period and headed to damn Mr. Jones class.

"Come on in" Mr. Jones smiled.

"Yall had fun this weekend I see" He added.

"Ong (On God)" Tyler said from the back of the class while other people chuckled.

"Dont be using God name in vain up in here" Mr. Jones raised his eyebrow at Tyler.

"Ion see whats funny..but okayy" I sat down at my desk.

"Childish much" Ken said before sitting down.

"Ok enough of the nonsense turn to page 338 in your social studies book" Mr. Jones explained and students groaned.

Two class periods later...

"Alright I'll see you at lunch" Ken said walking to her 3rd period class that we didn't have together.

"Ight" I responded and walked to math class.

Soon as I walked in the classroom I hear people calling me a fuckin savage...I ignored their comments cse im not trynna get suspended today.

"Good afternoon Miss Smith" Mrs. Lee the math teacher spoke.

I gave her a head nod and kept walking to my seat.

"Ion even got the patients fa this today" I said to myself putting my head down onna desk.

Minutes later Mrs. Lee called on me.

I tried to ignore her.

"Miss Smith!" She called louder.

"Yesss?" I responded irritatedly.

"Can you get the door please?" She asked but I knew it was much more of a statement then a question.

Not saying anything else I got up to open the door.

Looking through the lil window I see Glizzy slow ass onna other side of the door.

"Jaheem you're late" Mrs. Lee said after I opened the door and she gave Glizzy a disappointed look

I shook my head closing the door behind him then walked back to my seat.

"I was at the office" He finally responded not even looking at her.

"Your pass?" She asked with her hand out.

He didn't say anything and sat at the desk next to me.

"Ion got one" He finally spoke then put his head down onna desk.

"Fine" Mrs. Less said as she wrote on a piece of paper.

"Dramatic must" I thought out loud before putting my head back down.

"Umm miss Smith"

"You have no room to talk" She continued.

"After going on such a dangerous mission this weekend, that I dont know to much about but the students are saying-" She said before I cut her off.

"I dont give a damn what you heard, but yall can stop telling me what the fuck I did" I scrunched my face up at her.

"We dont use that type of language in here" She said in a serious tone.

I ignored her statement and continued.

"Its really nun of yall business like damn im alive aint it?" I tilted my head now referring to everybody in the classroom.

No response..

"Oh ightt and for the record im just one blunt ass gangsta not a savage.." I said before grabbing my things and walking out the classroom.

They make shit such a big deal..

I just shook my head to myself and walked to the bathroom.

A good 15 minutes later...

The bell rung and I finally left the bathroom, was not about to go back.

"Aye you straight?" I heard Glizzy ask from a distance.

I nodded my head yeah and kept walking.

"It didn't look like it" He said this time he's right next to me.

"Why you care so much about what people think or say anyway?" He asked with his face scrunched up.

"That shit juss irritating" I shrugged.

Kennedy came around the corner looking pissed.

"You ight?" I asked concerned.

"Nah people pissin me off keep askin me questions, assuming shit and callin me a fuckin savage like...." She explained very much irritated.

"Like why want they juss leave the shit alone" She rolled her eyes.

"We alive DAMN" She added as we reached the cafeteria.

"Thats what im sayin..shit annoying" I spat.

"Yall ass needa stop caring" Glizzy shook his head.

"Real shit" He added before we all sat at the round table.

"Heyy yall" Nevaeh and Kyra waved at us.

"Hey" Me and Ken spoke back and Glizzy have them a head nod.

"You ain't hungry?" Kyra asked me.

"Nah imma just wait till I get home" I said pulling my phone out.

"Tru.." Ken said.

"Shit was crazy huh!" Some dude said to Glizzy loud asf.

"Truly" Glizzy dapped him up.

"And wasn't that yall ass that almost got shot and was drunk and shit" He look at me and Kennedy.

OH FUCKIN K WE GET IT.

"How would you know" Ken asked him with an attitude.

Glizzy side eyed him.

"My bad" he said with his hands up.

"Ion know" He scratched his head.

"Oh ight" Ken turned around.

"They dont know...?" The boy sort of whispered.

Glizzy shook his head no.

"Mm.." The boy said understanding.

"Well imma f wit you later" He said before leaving.

Wtf does he know that we dont..

"Some don't add up" Kennedy said.

"And I agree" I added putting my things away.

We were putting our things up in our lockers, getting ready to go home.

On our way out the school building we saw Glizzy talking to that boy from the cafeteria.

"Best you can start the car I gotta ask Glizzy sum real quick" I told Ken and she nodded in response.

"Aye Glizzy..?" I walked over to him when he finished talking to ole dude.

"Wsp?" He said leaning against his car.

"Did you and/or him go to the club that night by any chance?" I asked.

He just shook his head no avoiding eye contact with me.

This mufucka lyin..

"Glizzy"

I straight faced him with my arms crossed.

"Huh" He answered.

"Be real wit me.." I said keeping a straight face.

He stayed silent.

And I waited for an answer.

"Yeah mane..."

"But we left before yall came, but I gotta go imma f wit you later doe" He said before getting in the car.

"Mmmhm" I responded before walking to Kennedy's car.

"What took so long" She asked when I got in the car.

"He was taking forever to tell me the truth" I said with an eye roll.

"About...?" She asked.

Oh yeah she don't know..

"Oh so I had a feeling that one of them or both of them was at the club the night we were there" I explained.

"Wait Glizzy and who?" She stopped me.

"Ole dude from the cafeteria"

"Oh tru..now continue" She waved her hands so I could continue.

"Ok so like they dont be assume what happened that night like everybody else do its like they knew what they talking about...which they did cse what they said.."

"Was always truee" We both said in unison.

"Exactlyyy" I dragged.

"So were they there?"

"Yeah but they left before we came" I air quoted the last part.

"Sketchy" She said then started the car.

"Thats what I said" I shook my head.
