"I think you should watch the people close to you... how could you not know it was me all along?" Then the line went dead.

I bawled up my fists and stormed out of the basement with tears pooling out of my eyes.

I always get fucked over, how did it I not see all the signs? Everytime he came around shit went bad.

"Fuck!" I shouted out as my phone started ringing. "Speak." I spoke sternly.

"Damn, you good shawty?" I heard causing my facial expression to soften.

"Yeah, I'm sorry you need some?" I ask lowly.

He cleared his throat then I heard a bunch of shuffling.

"Nah, just wanted to check on you." He says.

I could feel the butterflies forming in the pit of my stomach. I did not like the affect he had on me.

"I'm cool." I say keeping it short I refused to let him in on my problems.

He didn't even know about the kidnapping of my son, as far as I know he knew nothing of my son.

No matter how much I wanted to keep him hidden he somehow always seemed to be exposed to the world.

And now I stuck between a rock and a hard place because I had no clue where he was or how to get to him. But they knew my every move and whereabouts.

"Selena?"

"Yeah?" I answer. "I'm finna come scoop you drop yo location." He says before hanging up.

I looked around at my surroundings and rolled my eyes. I grabbed my keys and made my way out of the building towards my car.

I put my keys inside of the ignition and backed out of the parking lot and made my way to the nearest corner store.

When I was situated I dropped my location.

Few minutes later he pulled up with his auntie in the passenger seat.

What is this a reunion?

I rolled my eyes and got out of the car. "What's up?" I asked confused.

"We know where your son at.." He spoke causing me to look over at him with the quickness.

"How'd you know I had a son?" I ask confused. He only chuckled. "You think I'm not oblivious to things going on around me?" He asks as he licked over his bottom lip.

"It's written all over you that you are a mother, not only that I hear the phone calls." He says as he waved me off.

"Now, do you wanna know where he at?" His aunt asks as she looked over at me.

I nodded my head and gave her my undivided attention. "He's over on the south side, with some lady name Tabish." She says as she pulled out a envelope.

"She has been beefing with your uncle for the longest, she took it upon herself to bring you and your child into it." She says causing me to bite down on my lip.

"I'm gonna kill her." I say plainly. She smirked. "Then we're on the same page luv." She says as she walked back over to the car.

"Well that escalated quickly." Malachi spoke out as he chuckled.

I rolled my eyes. My phone began ringing causing me to pull my from my pockets.

It was a unknown caller.

"Lemme answer." Malachi says as he peeled over my shoulder looking at the caller ID.

I passed him the phone causing him to smirk and slide the green phone icon.

"Hello?"

"Nah, where you at?"

"Ain't nobody finna play no game of cat and mouse."

"Let's hope you find me before I find you."

Then he hung up.

"We gotta make a move." His aunts says as she made her way back over to us.

"They left their warehouse unattended, this is a perfect time to make a move."

I nodded my head and looked over to her. "I'll have him send the location."

"I'll just ride with her, send it to me."

We made our way to my car and got inside.

I sat in the passenger seat as he sat on the drivers side. "You sure you okay?" He asks as he looks over at me.

"I'm fine, I just want my son." I say lowly.

That's all that's been running through my head getting my son back.

I had gotten soft, and to who do I blame for this? Myself.

I should have known better than to leave him which Jacs when I knew he was more safer with me. His mother.

But best believe whoever was involved got a death wish coming.

I don't play bout my child any and everybody should know that.

This Tabish bitch and my fuck ass baby daddy wanted war so now they got it.

The drive seem long like really long eventually we pulled up to this huge building that looked abandoned.

"You sure this is?" I ask as I looked over at him to see him already looking at me.

"It's something I gotta tell you." He spoke out lowly as he kept his eyes trained on me.

"My aunt is out to get you, that's why she wanted me to bring you here. She ain't into helping nobody since shit went left with her and Jacs." He says.

"But I thought they were cool, what does that have to do with me anyway?" I ask.

"She's spiteful, she sees you as competition so she gotta take you out."

Then her car pulled up.

"So what now?" I ask as I chuckled.

"Y'all gonna kill me?" He asks.

"Nah, ain't nobody gonna kill anybody yet." Spoke a voice.

I looked into the back and saw my uncle. "When did you get here?" I ask confused.

"Malachi called me and informed me, I'm the only one who can fix this so let me try." Then he got out and walked over to her car and pecked on the window.

She unlocked the door he got inside.

"Amina, what the fuck is you up to?" Jacs asks as he got inside of the car.

"Somebody gotta kill her off." I spoke out.

"Do you hear yourself? She ain't did shit to you." He says as he shook his head.

"It ain't even bout me, we ain't even have a fallout it's no bad blood on my end you mad bout some else." He spoke out.

I just stared straight ahead. I saw too much of me in that girl.

And if she was anything like I use to be, her life would be nothing suffrage.

I may seem like a bitch, especially when I looked up to her father as a brother but now it's about me and mines.

Only one person can make it to the top, and that's me not even my nephew

I reached under my seat reaching for my gun only to hear a click

"I got it, it's crazy after all these years you still on that spiteful shit. Only thinking about you and nobody else. No wonder you ain't at the top." He spat as he chuckled.

"You feel like you don't need nobody as if it ain't lonely at the top. Yo issue is with ya self and you taking it out on my neice as if she owns you something ." He rambled on.

"You selfish." Then he opened the car door and got out.
